These are good people who for decades have not taken advantage of their monopoly status in San Diego.
Awesome ceramic supply store. The staff are very helpful and they have a large selection of supplies and glazes.
Helpful and great selection.❤️
My favorite one-stop shop for pottery supplies! They have everything you need, and everything you didn’t know you need. The staff are all incredibly friendly, helpful, and, most importantly, knowledgeable. Another bonus is that they have a community kiln and do firings for the public (around $10 per cubic foot, I believe).
So grateful for this business! Its fun to look at the different items that go on sale, and fair priced, as far as i can tell. I like the vibe here, too. Id love to work there if they had a opening for what i could do! Lol But, yes, great place with knowledgeable, helpful folks.
Amazing place! Awesome staff and very knowledgeable. Staff is down to earth and make you feel at home. For sure check these guys out!
20+ years of great service to me. Always accommodating.
I always have way too much fun browsing before I buy! All the people there are knowledgeable & willing to help. I always learn new things while I am browsing.
Nicest people. Great service. Great prices.
Amazing, great variety of glazes!
Awesome place and very close to my home and very friendly people, John and staff asked to help before walking inside the door.Their dog Lola who loafs around is a beauty!I am in the mist of creating my Adobe Cob Earth Oven and needing some clay is essential to my creative visuals on making a one of a kind Cob Earth Oven.
This place is a potters candy store wow they have everything you need if your a pro potterOr beginner and very helpful....prices are fair too...
I dont know how this place can stay in business with these hours and unhelpful customer service.
Good selection of clay and tools. The staff are friendly and helpful. They even help you to your car with your clay :-)
They were closed like over an hour early and its kinda a long drive to get down there. Some other people came while i waited to see if anyone was coming back and one of them had driven like over an hour to get there. Unprofessional, but my school gets their clay there and it seems like good quality and good prices. I hope to actually get in there one of these days...
Very knowledgeable. Have what I need.
Lots of cool things
They have everything you need if you are a ceramic artist/potter or they can order it for you and have it shipped to their store. It saves you on shipping for some very large items that would cost a ton if it was ordered by internet and shipped to your house. I am a regular and have been going for years. Yes they supply all the schools and colleges in the area and during the beginnings of semesters and mid semester they are CRAZY busy. This is a small family business, in a big warehouse environment and have four people there. You have to get their attention and be PATIENT. They are a big warehouse supplier and have a tiny, small retail area. It is worth the wait they are all VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. But if you want to be catered to hand and foot go to Blick, Micheals or Joannes. But if you are patient and want to really get good information on ANY ceramic/clay product or how to do something unusual or to problem solve or Kiln repair they are the ones to go to.
Friendly, helpful staff, great mascot!I live between Free Form, and the other ceramic supply store in Orange County, and I always try to go here unless I absolutely have to go to the other place while visiting Orange County.
Customer service should be better.
I have shopped with Freeform since they opened....Richard and Penny were my neighbors in Cardiff when we were young potters...i cannot appreciate enough the thoughtfulness and care that goes into my orders, requests and emergencies....i look forward to my treks to Freeform.
