Staff was very professional and friendly, very thorough with everything about the service of my vehicle. Everything was on point of the break down of the maintenance that was completed. I was informed of any maintenance and the remaining things that needed to be done. The wait time was 3 hours but the time went by pretty fast. There was plenty of restaurants in the area walking distance and a nice show room with places to sit and watch TV, or shop for car items. Free coffee and water, plenty of snacks to buy if you chose to do so. Easy access to restrooms, kids room with activities and televisions.Very clean and safe environment, nice big open spaces to walk around.

With things everywhere being so costly now…. Mike Bailes made my experience feel like it was truly worth the price. I left a local dealership near me because they charged me for work that they never did. After I asked for my hard earned money back- they had the gall to negotiate how much they were going to give back to me. All my services were at that dealership - every major service. I questioned their integrity and left.I will gladly drive a few miles north to Frank Toyota in National City for my maintenance needs. They are professional and clean. About their mechanic shop:I made an appointment with the mechanic shop at 11am because my car wouldn’t start. I drop off my car and go home. It gets to be around 5pm and I have not received a call with an update from them so I call the shop for an update. They tell me my car is next to be worked on-what a coincidence. (BTW What’s the point of making an appointment if my car was going to be one of the last cars to be looked at that day?)I get a call 30 min later with them saying it was the car battery. This surprised me because the tow truck that towed me to the shop checked the battery and they thought it was fine. But I go ahead and trust them and tell them to switch it out. They tell me the car would be ready in 30mn.I get to the shop and when the mechanic tries to drive the car out of the shop the car won’t start. They set me up with a rental so I can get home. Next day I get a call from them saying it was some sensor(can’t remember the name of the part) that was slowly draining the power from my car battery. At this point I was ready to take my car somewhere else but since the part was cheap I told them to go ahead and change it. Car worked fine after that.Overall would not recommend their auto shop.

Buying my new Tundra at Frank Toyota was a great experience. The sales team, Garrett, Marco, Robert, and Joseph were friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. Without doubt THE easiest, smoothest car buying experience EVER. Germaine Mahler is a complete professional and is a wonderful ambassador both for Frank Toyota and the Toyota brand as a whole. Seriously, she sets the standard that other sales consultants should emulate.I leased a 2021 Venza for my wife and Germaine patiently worked through the whole process, answering each and all of my many questions. We facilitated everything online from the sales price, to financing and also our trade in. The icing on the cake was being able to have the vehicle delivered to our house!!!! We met delivery specialists Jim and Mike and they were both terrific. Jim focused on the paperwork while Mike trained us on the vehicle features. It could not have gone any better. Mike was very helpful in detailing the work that was to be done in the 30,000 mile service on my Prius. The individual prices for certain items ate quite high though. One example is the $65 charge to replace the cabin air filter. Other than that, Frank Toyota delivers a good service experience. The use of Lyft to help customers return to their homes and come back to the dealership after the car was ready was very good.

I called several locations to try to schedule an appointment to have my airbag replaced threw a factory recall, all the other locations could not find the recall information, the correct airbag to fit my car and had very limited dates/times available. As soon as I called Frank s Toyota I noticed the difference, everyone who helped me was knowledge, professional, kind and so helpful. There lobby was being regularly cleaned, there was a selection of snacks and beverages offered as well. I will definitely be recommending Franks and returning myself.

You know as far as car dealerships go I mostly work with their parts department. Incredibly great people working here. Always will seem to go out of their way to help me with unusual requests. So Im going to go out on a limb here and guess that the entire business is run like that. Youre not going to get a great parts department and allows you service department. So I would definitely recommend working with these people. I would trust that theyre used car facility is great you can never go wrong with a new Toyota or used one for that matter and Ill bet their service department is pretty sharp as well. I usually wait for my car to be finished but due to understaffing of mechanics it took 3+ hours to finish my service which ruined my work plans for the day. Cutting down costs, now charging for features previously included in multi-point inspection for regular oil change. This location used to be my favorite for service, previously offering lyft within a 10-mile radius and not even charging for break inspection. Now you gotta spend more to even get that mediocre 10 mile radius and for inspection of your break. Your greed has just lost you a good customer. To top it off, your service reps, specially Stephanie from service was poor. Definitely not going back and for other new customers Id check where I spend my money. As other toyota dealerships may not offer lyft or ride services, they at least know how to treat a customer right and dont even charge for you to get your breaks inspected as it has and has already been a part of a regular oil service inspection. 0 stars if it was even possible.

Frank’s is the most professional customer based service center I’ve ever been to. The staff was extremely prompt and inviting. I was greeted immediately and informed of the wait time and what to expect right away (unlike another Toyota service dealership I had been to before). The associate who explained everything was detailed and very helpful. She made sure I got everything I needed. I waited about an hour for my car to be serviced. I waited in the inside area (they provide both inside and outside options which were very COVID friendly). Vending machine and coffee are available. Then I was given a great rundown on what was done to my car, what was recommended, and scheduled my next appointment. Next year was walked to the valet to my car. This will definitely be the the service center for my Toyota! I have to give an A plus to the staff.

This was the worst experience we have ever had at a dealership.The salesman kept pushing a lease on us, when all we wanted was to buy the car. He kept telling us that he put his parents in a lease and it was best for them. We told him that we didnt want a lease, that we didnt care about driving a new car every 3years. That we wanted something to show for our money once it was paid off.After being badgered for over 4 hours, we finally agreed.We are both senior citizens. This was elder abuse as far as I am concerned.Yesterday we walked into the dealership with a check made out for the purchase price. They told us that they couldnt take it, that we had to send it to Toyota directly.

Came in for my general routine maintenance and had an appointment with Rashad. He’s been really great to work with and is great at providing updates as the car maintenance was being completed. I have been bringing my car here ever since I bought it from this dealership and am extremely happy with the service I’m provided. Also always a perk to have the Toyota rewards points that you can use as your points add up or for discounted services like oil changes. I took my car in the morning and was ready by lunch time. I’ve also experienced before for longer servicing they offer rental car option which is always nice as well because we all have busy schedules and know how crucial it is to have your car. Ive gone to Frank Toyota for all my cars including my most recent car and have never had such a difficult time trying to schedule an appt and getting simple questions answered. In my opinion, Cynthia was very unprofessional and needs to take some lessons in customer service. From leaving me on hold longer than needed, to talking over me, to telling me I have an attitude. I have had no problems with my car since I bought it about a year ago, because I always took it here for regular maintenance. With my previous cars, I went to different mechanics over the years and avoided dealerships because everyone said theyre too expensive. I cant vouch for every Toyota location, but this National City location is the best. They wont try to charge you for repairs you dont need. After my last visit, I drove 2,000 miles on a road trip with no problems. Thank you guys for taking care of my car.

Went in to get an oil change on Saturday and luckily they were nice to take me in. Had a full synthetic oil change and asked if we could get shuttle service. Was told that I couldn’t because it was not included due to I not getting full service. Daughter got an Uber and went home. Uber driver mentioned that he would get shuttle service for the same service. Called to speak to a manager, left a message and never got a call back. When car was ready I noticed my reminder sticker said to return at 5000 miles instead of 10000 for full synthetic oil change. Went to put paperwork in glove box and it was put in incorrectly was hanging down. Had to return so mechanic can put it in correctly after getting door slammed on. I’ve purchased two cars in the past and would’ve been nice just to get a shuttle service but is what it is. I would of mentioned all this to a manager instead of posting here if he would’ve returned my call. Overall okay might be just a bad day. Is what it is.

When we schedule an appointment online, were given an option to choose our preferred Service Advisor whom we want to deal with. However, when we arrive there, we get surprised when a different Advisor shows up and serves us. We have chosen a specific Advisor for a reason otherwise we can choose any Advisor. The reason is that we dont want to deal with a certain advisor for past bad experience or any other reasons. Why would you impose a different Advisor? Why would you provide options to choose an Advisor in the first place? This problem didnt happen once or twice but it did happen many times. Do you think this is an ethical, fair and smart practice?

Customer Service was great from the advisor greeting me upon arrival to the Parts department staff. My 10k service was done timely. They said it would take anywhere between an hour to an hour and a half, and that’s about how long it took. The only thing that holds me back from giving a 5 star review is that I noticed my truck went from driving super smooth to a little shaky after the service.Before going in for the 10k service, I had new tires installed, balanced and aligned and the truck drove smooth. Thinking about going back to Frank Toyota so that they look at it again, I’m thinking that with their tire rotation, balance may have been affected. Then again, they may come back and say it’s my fault for not getting the tires there.Let me know Frank Toyota. Turn this frown upside down.

I am 37 weeks pregnant and was looking for a quick oil change before my baby comes. I made an appointment prior to the day and when I got there ended up waiting 3 hrs. I got there at 2:45 and ended up leaving at a little after 5:30. The service was good but the time I waited was insane!

I was planning first road trip in our Highlander. I called for appt. after seeing service light on a Friday and our departure was set for Sunday. They got my car in on Saturday and included servicing the recall item for my vehicle. This quite a relief on my levels. The coordination and service were beyond what I expected and has our road trip effortlessly and mind freeing beyond looking out for State Troopers... Thank you Toyota.

Service was great. Rashad kept me up to date on my vehicle and offered to help with rides. Nobody likes spending a chunk of change on their vehicle, but Frank Toyota made it easier to swallow.
