Needed to call to be sure this location carried my prescription is my usual pharmacies manufacturers discontinued it. Read reviews about pharmacists attitudes & laziness in store on top of their refusal to answer calls, as if they’re somehow being inconvenienced for doing their job! First call I was on hold 20 mins & heard someone pickup & put me back on hold 3 or 4 different times. I’ve been calling over & over, waiting & waiting for a few hours now…still nothing. I’m actually on hold as I type this. The fact that the pharmacists just obvious don’t care is insane! From the reviews I’ve read the whole staff in the pharmacy need to fired. Answering phones & prescription questions is part of their job description but they could care less! These people shouldn’t be working in a pharmacy. Next step is filing a formal complaint about that location.

I waited 30 mins to get a covid shot, was told that walk-ins arent available. If you go online, it shows theyre accepting walk-ins. No signs in the pharmacy to let you know walk-ins arent available so they make you wait in the long lines just to get turned away. I called their number to discuss this but the automated systems dont connect you to talk to anyone in the pharmacy or even general store. Dealing with this store has been a headache so Ill pick/up my prescriptions from another store from now on.

Was just a routine Rx/ Insurance info drop off until I misplaced insurance info needed for the specialist. Francis one of the pharmacists/tech went above and beyond to help me retrieve the ins info needed for the specialist. Although I personally was not there for my needs the professional display of integrity and importance showed in his work ethic. The service provided exceeded my expectations as he went above and beyond. For that reason I am leaving this review. Thank you Francis!

Very Disappointed !!!!!!!! I Went to pick up my prescription yesterday Saturday 3/20/22 at 7pm and the farmacy manager and attendant where veryrude and careless!!!!!!I ended up buying my medication in Walgreens they got wayyyy better customer service.I use to love CVS Farmacy but with that kind of customer service Im switching to Walgreens

The pharmacy tech Tina had a bad attitude very disrespectful telling me where I should stand! I’m tired of the privilege. If she did her job and not worry about where I was standing which was away from everyone else, every patient that come there would be in and out! Thanks Michael you were very nice!

Went for the second time this week to get my pictures that I had ordered on Tuesday and got in a confirmation for that they had been completed.however when I showed up today they could not find any trace of my order not with my phone number and not with anything. Im very upset because of wasting my time for the second time now this week. Also the parking lot is completely dirty and full of trash I will not be returning to the CVS and I recommend you go to another

My psychiatrist Dr Kushner prescribed me medication and got charged $900.00. When I went to a different pharmacy it was only $25.00. Plus, the medication I was treated at urgent care in otay lakes rd didnt go through when my insurance was fine with both incidents. I had to keep calling and my insurance, the doctor, and the pharmacy so Im getting suspicious of whats going on.

Husband walked in to get a thermometer, when asking someone at the pharmacy where they’re located the cashier turned around to the coworker to ask and she proceeds to yell and cuss at the cashier and my husband that “they’re out- they’re out of everything”. This wasn’t written on their “sold out” board so how was my husband to know?? A simple no would’ve been nice, I understand that it’s a stressful time but why yell and be rude to people and customers who ask a simple question

This is literally my favorite and the ONLY CVS I go to. The staff here are amazingly nice and very helpful. I have never had an issue when shopping at this location. I am a frequent couponer (not extreme) but enough to the point where I don’t pay full price for my items because of my awesome Extra Care Bucks and the staff have extra patience when they see me come in with my binder. I really appreciate that because a lot of stores look down on people with coupons or won’t even let them use them. Please keep up the awesome job staff!

Pharmacy told me 15 minutes and that only two medications where ready not the 3rd. Im still sitting here 1 hour late and nobody has even bothered to approach me or apologize . When I ask if they called my name because the lady that talks over the speaker talls so fast and low voice you can hardly hear her, that I the get 120% attitude ..NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!!!!!

Poor customer service in the Pharmacy this my first time there and the girl Luz is horrible she needs better training who gives an attitude when just asking questions about a co pay she says I just told youi clearly didnt hear you speak louder next time Luz. CVS Pharmacy 1201 E Plaza Blvd, National City, CA 91950 has the worst customer service and professionalism. The first bad experience was when they gave a portion of my antibiotics and told me to come back the next day as they were out, the next day they refused to give it to me because they said it was picked up, they had me signed picked up but failed to communicate with their team. Next incident, I was in pain from an ear infection I called to get it filled but they were out and told me to call the pharmacy on H and to tell them to pull it, I did call but they could not find it, come to find out the Plaza Blvd pharmacy deleted the prescription told me to go to urgent care to get checked up again which btw would cost me another $20 or I can wait until the next day to hear from the doctor.... I WAS IN PAIN finally after having talked to a supervisor and explained it was not my fault they deleted the prescription they called it in to the other pharmacy manually adding it. I get a call back from the Plaza Blvd pharmacy and they said H street CVS was being difficult and was not wanting to do it but they did and they actually were very kind and understanding. Well, Friday I get another prescription as my ear infection has not healed, I call in to National City pharmacy to get the status of Gentamicin ear drops just sent over to them and they say they do not have the ear drops and it was sent to H street, I told them I wanted to have it sent there or to Mira Mesa since I was in the area anyway but nope they said H Street CVS has it and was told to call Mira Mesa CVS to pull it from H St, guess what Mira Mesa couldnt because there was a hold on the prescription so I called H Street and they told me Plaza Blvd was processing it.... I called Plaza Blvd and they said oh the one the other tech was looking at was from two weeks ago. I specifically said I was just seen in Urgent Care and the new prescription was Gentamicin but he failed to look at it and listen to me. Tonight I come to get the refill and was told two hours, three hours later I show up and its not ready, the girl appears to hate her job because saying anything like sorry or even to smile was impossible for her. While I understand not every one is happy and excited its their job to give good customer service, heck I live pay check to pay check but my customers are happy, I am paid to do my job so I do it. CVS Pharmacy National City needs to have a brand new staff take over. I am done with them after tonight. I am one person but warning to others stay away.

Throughout the years I’ve had numerous problems with them. This has led me to finally write a review. I’ve been with this pharmacy for years and every time or most of the time there’s always a problem with their system not having my insurance info updated. Having me wait and waste hours of my time. Last night my PA called in a prescription and spoke to the pharmacist. Shortly after I called to check on my prescription and they don’t have anything ready for me. No telephone orders or orders they see pending. I call again this morning and still no medication. I have to call my drs office again and my PA tells me she phoned in an order and she spoke to the pharmacist last night. This is so frustrating they need to have a better system! Calling back and fourth and wasting time.

Early Saturday morning of the 17th of March I was profiled while trying to shop for joint and muscle relief cream. As I was searching for the top rated creams on my phone a women walked over to me asking if i needed help......i said that i would like to know where the baking soda is (one of the items on my list) she said it is in aisle 2. I said thank you, but the interaction did not end there. This women stood behind me and continued to watch me asking if she could then take me to aisle two. My response, when i finish here i will go to aisle two but right now you are being annoying. Can you please respect that i would like to shop in peace.....i mentioned this to the manager who claimed this behavior was customer service one in which i was the only one provided with because she said nothing to the other customers standing around.......do better

The pharmacists is not helpful at all. When you buy 2 cvs medications for your kids, and ask the pharmacist for a measurement syringe, or dropper, and he said its with prescription only. The one star us for the cashier, who was really helpful and tried to solve any issues.

Poor service. Drive thru wait was ridiculously long. I got off my car and walked in to the pharmacy. I was the only person standing in line and the pharmacists about 4 of them never said hi well be with you in a minute. They kept talking between themselves and it took a good 5 minutes before someone else came out and helped me. Before the employee helped me she chitchatted for a few minutes. This to me shows poor customer service. They are there for our service but prefer to take care of their business first. This is not a location that puts clients first 🤨 which is pretty sad.

Im really disappointed in CVS pharmacy. When I pulled in there were 4 cars in line. So I decided to go in, how bad could the line be? Yeah, 15 people deep. So I went back outside and got in line, which hadnt moved in the 5 minutes I was inside. Im currently sitting in the drive thru. Its been 25 minutes and theres still 2 cars ahead of me. How could it possibly take 25 minutes to help 2 cars? If I didnt need my medication, you know to live, I would have just cancelled it and picked it up elsewhere. But every CVS I go to takes forever and always has a stupid long line but only one poor cashier ringing people up and 2 pharmacists. Wouldnt it make sense to better staff their locations. At this point Im moving stuff to mail order.

My friend and I arrived at this location just before 10 pm, She was there to buy some make-up and personal hygiene products, So I made my way to the bathroom, I needed a code so i asked an employee if the bathroom was open first of all, if so could I please get the code, the employee said yes it is open but did not know code she said I would need to ask a cashier, so I asked a cashier and she said we close it at 10pm right behind her was a clock it was a minute beforeso I asked her if she could please give me the code because it was a minute before (9:59) She ignored me so I asked another (it was now 10:00 pm on the dot) she answered as if annoyed the bathroom is now closed i exclaimed she was the third person I had to ask and that it was before 10 pm when i asked the first and Second associate, she completely ignored meso I told my friend put everything down we arenot shopping here!!!
