It has now 5 years since I bought my ISLE Explorer (May/2016 S/N 575796) and I am very disapointed about the product. Even though I am very careful about not inflating it above 15psi, not leaving it in the sun, not storing it in hot places, using a protection cover over it, and so on, it seems like the glue used to assemble the board just expired. I can no longer use it as it will open up in one of the edges just after few minutes of inflating it. Then I have to repair it (following the instructions on an ISLE video available on YouTube). When I believe it is fixed, it would then explode and open up in another location. It feels like until I have it 100% re-glued it will not fix the matter.When I bought it, I thought it would be a high quality product, and it was for the first years, so much that I influenced my family to buy it as well. Unfortunately the same exact situation also happened with their boards (they have actually gave up on it).I travel to the beach three times a year for vacation and it was very convenient to take my ISLE board with me, but in my last trip my friends actually made fun of it as I was most of the time fixing it instead of having fun with it.Unfortunately now I have read several reviews with this same exact issue.When contacting ISLE, they will just claim that the warranty is valid for two years, that the inflatable products are not meant to last forever and will offer a discount on a new product. Why would I buy another one if I dont trust its quality?If you want to buy one, just be aware of the 5 years or less expected lifetime of the product (ISLE should put that as a note when selling it)

Love my ISUP. Had great experience with buying. I had been checking them out online for months, and was waivering between two boards unsure which would be best. When my husband and I came to the showroom we spoke with one of the guys (really wish I could give him credit by name) and he was amazing. Not only was he knowledgeable and extremely helpful, he spent the time answering my questions, gave me honest advice from personal experience, and after I decided which one I would buy. He spent quite a bit of time giving us a great run down of all the need to know advice to get me boarding like a pro. Definitely made my first time out with the new board much easier and made me felt confident in what I was doing. The board itself is so well-made. The ease of set up and packing it away was actually much better than I expected. I love it and know I definitely made the right choice. Definitely will be headed back in for one for my husband soon enough 😆

Terrible experience with Isle. I had my board for 3 years, however barely used it, keeping it in line with the storage instructions they had on their site. I had recommended it to friends and family, and got them quite a few sales - including additional one that I had made for for a family member - because I had been so happy with the stability and the entirety of the package - just two weeks ago, recommending it to friends while using it at the lake. Then - after no more than 15 uses of the boar, the board EXPLODED - (and i mean literally exploded while sitting unused!!!) at one of the seams a causing a 12 inch hole in the board. When I reached out to them, they stated the warranty is only a year and suggested i reach out to a repair shop they recommended at my expense. That repair shop has a picture of a repaired Isle board as their main image on their site (RED FLAG - there is obviously a known issue with their product). After I reached out to Isle multiple times, they suggested I purchase a new board with a slight discount - why would I purchase a new product, when the current purchase could not stand up to more than 15 uses? I can understand if I had torn the board or caused a hole, but if it just explodes because of bad craftsmanship, they should be standing by a one thousand dollar purchase, especially during these times. I am shocked at the disregard for the customer, and most of all with not standing up for their product, along with the callousness of the responses I have received from the company. I had been such a staunch supporter, and telling folks to support local california businesses, only to be left with a thousand dollars of useless equipment. Buyer - please beware.

The folks here at Isle are GREAT! They are open and honest, a pleasure to deal with. I only wish that more businesses handled themselves as fairly and honestly as them. Their products sell themselves as they well made SUP’s that stand up to or exceed the competition at similar price points. Highly recommend!

Wonderful customer service! I purchased my board about a year ago and have been very happy with it. I did a lot of research online before making my final decision. I was somewhat concerned about the fact that the board would be coming from California (I live in Texas) and wondered if it would make the trip without damage. It arrived on time and exactly as ordered. When I called to ask some questions they were patience and extremely knowledgeable. They did not try and up sell me and actually said that the board I was looking at (which was in the sale category) was one he personally owned and was one of his favorites. When asked about getting a better paddle, he recommended that I try the one that came with it and I could always upgrade later. I am still using the original paddle. The experience made me feel they were just excited to have someone enjoy the sport as much as they did! The quality of the board allowed my friends and family to feel confident when trying it for the first time. My dogs love the ride!

Love my new board. Price and shape are a great combo. I surf it on little waves, my daughter takes it out on larger ones. Its a fun board and a good price. These SUP boards are great quality and very affordable. I feel very stable on the inflatable board and it seems that it is very sturdy. The hard board is great material and thick, I am very pleased with both. The best part about this company is their excellent customer service, which is a rarity. They are so quick to process an order and send it out. If you have any questions or concerns they respond within seconds and are very helpful. I will be recommending them to all my SUP board family.

Last year we have purchased a 12/6 SUP and paddle with ISLE. Very easy process and great value for a great product. Recently, we purchased covers for travel for the paddle and the board. Again, both very good products for a very competitive price. There was a snafu with UPS on the shipping and the people at ISLE were quick to resolve the issue. Bottom line, good products and good service. What more could you ask for in a business??

I have an 11.2 Isle SUP and love it. Its light, stable and great for flat water paddling or having fun in the surf. I also recently purchased an SUP bag from Isle Surf for another board I have. The fit was perfect, the quality of the bag was very good and the price was the least expensive around. I went to many stand up paddle boards shops and can happily say that the service, friendliness, patience and detailed explanations received by Jake at ISLE were by far the best. At no stage did he try pressurize me into buying and was always willing to help and answer questions. Zero stars if it were possible. Terrible customer service. Company refuses to ship hard boards to FPO/APO mailing addresses, which means they refuse to ship to service members overseas. When asked multiple times whether they can look into providing a quote as I was willing to pay shipping above normal rates, they refused. When pressed to explain to me why they refuse to ship overseas when the customer is willing to pay the shipping, they responded by saying it was company policy. I received emails from at least 5 different people, all regurgitating the same useless response and still have yet to receive any real answer.

Website was very easy to navigate, items were described in detail. Order was shipped immediately and received quickly, and shipping was free! I purchased the womens 10 4 board, its great! Easy to pump up, good on flat water and super cute. I would definitely order from them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Awesome SUP! I bought 2 Soft Serves for me and my wife for our house in Hilton Head Island, SC. We love the boards! They are light enough to tote around, great stability and are great to paddle. The customer service of Isle was incredible. Being that they are west coast and me east coast I thought it would cost alot to ship, but was included in the price of the board. Oh and did i mention the crazy low price? I got two boards paddles and the board accessories and shipping for less than $1200.00! Their customer service was awesome and they walk you though every step. The shipping Company lets you track your boards, and will call to arrange delivery, which means you can inspect the board for any damages before you sign for it. Highly recommend checking them out!

We went into the shop needing a paddle but have also been casually looking for some portable boards we can travel with. They were very helpful and didnt try to oversell to us. They were very honest about the positives and negatives of each board we looked at. This is particularly reasonable because we ended up getting inflatable boards to travel with, while we use high-performance boards at home, so its not realistic to expect the inflatables to perform as well. That said, the ones we found at Isle seem to be good quality for an inflatable board. In addition, the prices we got were great. We would gladly send others here if they are looking for a board. We look forward to coming back to the shop when were in the area.

After doing my research, I decided to get my inflatable paddle board from Isle. Shipping was quick and free, and I was out and using my SUP in no time. I love it - so much easier to transport than my previous fiberglass paddle board and just as easy to navigate around in the water. I had several people asking me where I got it. So happy I purchased the Explorer model! All pros and no cons!

ISLE was recommended by a fellow SUP friend. We ordered 2 of the inflatable Adventure boards then a pump. We love both! The pump works awesome, inflates to 15psi in less than 6 minutes per board and the carry bag is a bonus.

My wife and I bought the two inflatable SUP combo, one 10ft and the other the ladies 104 board. Great cruisers for the lakes and fairly stable on the white water in the roaring fork valley. We love the small package you can make it, for hiking into high altitude lakes and streams. Bought the peak expedition through Amazon but these people were the vendor. When I got the board they had not only sent the wrong board (the allaround?) But also not the right color. After spending almost an hour with Amazon on The phone I was told that the only option available was to return the board, get a refund, then order again. I rec. The board on Wednesday and was leaving for a trip on Friday evening. Amazon said the vendor would not give an immediate refund after the board was picked up nor would they reship until they had the board back in their hands. I had to go on vacation without my board and incurred rental costs for a board. So not happy!

Best Bang for your Dollar overall. I purchased an all carbon paddle with bag shipped for $140. Compare that to a $400 to $600 paddle from QP with no bag. After returning a hard board (from some other company), dissatisfied with the difficulty in transporting and storage, I decided to take a closer look at soft SUPs. I narrowed my decision down to two companies. The reason I went with Isle is their customer service. They were not only the quickest to respond to my initial questions with helpful feedback, but the one time I had an issue with a fin screw, they resolved it to my satisfaction. I have had my soft SUP for well over a year and absolutely love it.

I have actually purchased two iSup boards from Isle now. The first was the Explorer. This board is more than I could have expected. Im so happy with all aspects of the board performance that I bought the 10 foot all around iSup for the girlfriend. She LOVES the stability and handling.Now, the purchase price was one of the main selling points- take this great price and take advantage of an Isle coupon code for even more savings. The shipping (granted Im in So Ca) was ridiculously fast. I pulled the trigger on Wednesday and had the board Friday afternoon. The pump supplied with the boards is sturdy and more than adequate.If I had to pick one thing to complain about, it would be the aluminum paddle that is included- its an entry level paddle that gets the job done, but serious paddlers will want to upgrade to Carbon Fiber. This really should not be viewed as a legit complaint, as with such great prices, a cheaper paddle is easy enough to remedy.Check Isle out!

Isle Surf & SUP is a great company if youre looking for a wide selection and affordable SUPs. I bought two inflatable SUPs in April 2015 (Inflatable Explorer 11) and absolutely love them. I live in Colorado and use them on rivers (Class I-III) and open lakes. The Inflatable Explorer SUP is fantastic since it has two sections of bungee cords and multiple D-rings so you can carry all of your gear. The backpack, manual pump, and basic paddle are included which was also nice. I added an upgraded Carbon fiber paddle, which I love, and also an automatic pump that connects to your car battery (also love this and its absolutely worth it). I definitely recommend Isle Surf & SUP and I will buy from them again.

Great customer service! I purchased two iSUP’s and one had a manufactures defect, I called and a new one was sent right away. I love my new toys, they are inflatable but they feel so solid, plus they don’t take up any space in my garage. Not going to lie……It’s a good workout pumping them up with the hand pump, so find some shade. I was hesitant to purchase the inflatable paddle boards, but I just don’t think I could be happier.

DO NOT BUY THEIR INFLATABLE SUPS! We purchased one of Isles inflatable SUPs less than two years ago. Our Isle SUP literally exploded (ripped apart seam) while on the beach, and luckily our kids werent on the board; and, even more lucky, they werent in the water (on the board when it exploded). We are experienced with SUPs and this is our first (and last) inflatable one. We barely used this SUP (about 10 times), and it was always in Mission Bay (no whitewater). The warranty on their inflatables is only 12 months. Isle will not repair their inflatables, even under warranty. They also do not stand behind their inflatable boards, and they are poorly constructed. I was totally disappointed when talking with their staff, as they basically said I was out of luck for them helping me with their busted inflatable board. If you buy a SUP, buy a reputable brand that stands behind there products, and cares about satisfying their customers.

Being an absolute novice at this, I ordered 2 soft serve SUPs from Isle. I have to admit that I was hesitant since their website did not have any customer reviews on the products. However, the appearance and price outweighed my hesitation and I bought them. The products arrive very quickly from Ca to TX and were actually higher quality than I anticipated. Very pleased with the product and service...not to mentioned the extremely well packaged shipment. The abuse that these boxes would have had to encounter to actually damage the boards would be astounding. Rock solid. Very please with my purchase.

We Love our Sup paddle boards. We Use them on our pond for Pilates and paddling. They are very sturdy and well made. They are a Great size for doing Pilates on the boards.Shipping took about 10-12 days to Illinois.Weve used other brands of boards in the past and highly recommend isle boards.

Alas, was hoping they were good quality and stood by their products. My full carbon one piece paddle was porous, water trapped in the lower shaft and blade. Terrible customer service, slow responses, Id have to resend to get replies. Then they said theyd do nothing about it. I suspect cheap asian production. Not enough resin on the blade face, water would weep out when squeezed.

Great people! They responded to me via instagram direct message when I asked about a board they kept showing, I honestly wasnt expecting a reply. Finally making the purchase, I received my board damaged but didnt notice until I was on the water (too excited to examine prior.) I submitted my claim in their online form (it was nice to not have to wait until they were open to call) and they responded quickly and accepted my claim even though I took it out on the water. My new board was shipped the next morning! They suggested using the new board box to ship the damaged one back in but I still had the old one. I just couldnt believe the service and Im equally as blow away with their products, but thats a whole nother story (look for my review of the Voyager on their website if you want to hear it). I ordered a paddleboard online for a family Christmas gift. The site was easy to navigate, and when Craig (my sales specialist) confirmed the order, that brought a really personal touch.The paddleboard arrived, but not the paddle (which was OK, since I live on a lake in Wyoming thats iced over for winter). In shipping, the box got opened and the paddle went missing. An email to Craig and the paddle arrived via UPS in two days. Wonderful customer service.(And we cant wait until Wyoming thaws so we can get this beast on the water!)

Seem to be great boards, but the customer service and shipping was a nightmare. After 15 days and having to go to the 2nd shipping company to pick up the boards (after they lost them on the shipping dock), we unpacked the boards and one was damaged.Our only options were to ship the damaged board back (in a box that we did not have) on the same day the replacement board was to arrive. Delivery is only available between 10am and 2pm.Unimpressed with their customer service.

Bought my AW Glider from the shop right before the July 4th weekend. Great people in there--and so damn helpful. Really made me feel good about my choice.As for the board: WOW! Did Mission Bay, Glorietta Bay, and La Jolla shores in 3 days. Just love being out on the water with this thing. Still new to surfing--and do not have the hang of that yet. Yet to practice more there. But everything else is fabulous. And I have the board ONCE I master the surfing angle of it.But again: the customer service in the shop and their acumen is tremendous. They have a customer for life.

Ive been shopping for a paddleboard for two years because I am very picky and they are expensive. The last thing I wanted was to buy a board online and have it arrive way larger and heavier than I could handle. As an independent woman I am prone to doing my favorite activities alone, and I didnt want to be restricted to bringing a more capable friend when it comes to playing with my toys. That being said the Isle Versa 98 board (31 wide, 4 thick, ~25lbs) is perfect for me. I am 53 ~125lbs and I could easily not only carry the board but lift it over my head (in the wind!) onto my SUV and secure it down. As a beginner (I had only gone paddleboarding on huge 106 foam boards) I knew that smaller meant harder to balance and so finding a smaller board that is also a good recreational board (as opposed to surf which the smaller boards tend to lean toward) was also a worry because again, I wanted basically the perfect custom board for me. So finally after seeing the Isle Versa board online, I called the store to see if I should drive out (theyre about two hours north of me) and found that the in store discounts are even better than the online discounts! When I got there the manager was the most polite and helpful young man, who even gave me a good spot to go try it out (they have a 30 day try-it and love it guarantee). I will go to Isle for all my SUP needs forever more, not only because the prices are great but because the customer service was wonderful as well. I tried my board out in the bay and it was even easier for me to stand on and paddle than the giant beginner boards I had used before! After about 10 minutes of getting used to it, I was paddling so quickly I couldnt believe it, I cannot wait to try it out in the surf (check out online the specs, its the perfect all around board 100% marks in recreational/balance and high marks in surfing as well and I can see why)! I would recommend this board to all my friends. I even had a friend with me (shes 57) who had never gone paddleboarding before and when she tried it, she could stand and paddle within the first fifteen minutes! You really cant find a better all around board. Or a better shop!! THANKS ISLE!

Awesome Paddle Boards, great price and arrived to South Carolina within 2 weeks of purchase. It was actually cheaper to purchase the Paddle Boards online and shipped to us then it was to buy locally.
