I am new to living in Needham. I have been to this store twice. They have an incredibly cute selection of baby clothes and accessories. The 1st time I shopped here (I was alone) and it was a great experience. Even though it was very busy with families (and a few little ones running amok), the staff was very friendly and very helpful. However, my 2nd visit was no where near as enjoyable. During this 2nd visit, the store was empty (no customers). I brought a friend with me this day (beforehand telling them about how wonderful Pollywogs was). There were two staff members in the store, neither of which wanted to help me! It was so bizarre! If Id had more time I wouldve taken my business elsewhere (but I was on my way to a hospital to visit a newborn). What a strange contrast - when they were very busy, they were very friendly - and when not busy, not friendly. Not friendly aside, THEY WERE NOT HELPFUL! I would like to mention that I do not know if the two rude women were at the store both times I visited. My 1st visit wouldve been 5 stars, my 2nd wouldve been zero stars. Because of the 1st visit and the selection, today I give Pollywogs 3 stars with a warning to not be surprised if the staff is unhelpful and rude.
