Home depot is an attempt to be all things for all jobs and because of this is almost always going to be wanting for at least one item on your list. If you are lucky and your list is short they may have everything you need between the stores within driving distance.The people who work there are friendly. Some of them are very knowledgeable, but many are not. You should either take your contractor, your aunt or uncle who is handy, or be prepared to wing it.Generic stuff, they have loads of that. Specific stuff, look to a supply house for that specific type of work.All in all, I really enjoy the well labelled experience of running in, grabbing something close to what I need and getting back out. You probably will too.

This is my usual haunt, Ive spent a lot of time shopping here. There are several employees in this place that are off the charts amazing. And there are some employees that dont want to help you

Theres a few veterans that run the rental department- top notch employees. They were very knowledgeable and informative on everything I needed with their floor sander. Thanks guys!

I was in the store 8/5/21 11:15 am. The lady in the paint department was awesome. I needed someting on the top shelf storage, she was super busy helping other customers, she got what I needed quickly and was out the door in no time. The guy working the self check out was also very friendly.

I love the store but the property manager needs to take care of painting the lines back on the lot. Cars are parked crooked, covering two spots because 90% of the spaces dont have lines. Id give a better star rating but that part of the experience is lacking greatly.

Ordered piece of vinyl 12x6 online waited 2 weeks. Went to pick it up. piece was 9x6 and store still wanted us to take it even though it was too short.. also found lumber cheaper at Menards,as well as vinal we got correct size for my wifes she-shed. Happy wife, happy life. Also they dont carry buffing wheels for table grinders. Why not?

I’ve been coming here since 2008 when I moved to southern Indiana. I’m always treated great anytime I have interacted with anyone over the past many years.

Have had good and bad experiences here. The tool rental department has went above and beyond to be helpful. And then you have the floor associates who run the other way when you need help.

I ALWAYS have such a good time at this store. There has to be something special in the way they train their employees or, they have a human resource manager with a keen eye and talent for hiring a customer relations type of person. The staff at SPECIFICALLY, the New Albany store, are ALWAYS; helpful, on the spot, knowledgeable, friendly, and in most cases, humorous.They have something for folks in every price range. From Mansions to Mobile homes, you can get your home, lawn, garden etc needs all in one place, and a customer getting a $10 bag of grass seed gets treated equal to the $150,000 job contractor.

Stopped in to Home Depot to find a part to repair a bathroom fixture. The store has a broad selection, but sometimes their method of organizing items seems odd to me. Had to ask for directions to find my part. Check out was easy and efficient.

Home depot is the best they have anything home repair related that you could ever need. They also have trailer rental and equipment rentals. Great selection of lumber and reasonably priced, other products they have are great as well this is the place to go when you need repair or just looking to replace or remodeling for your home. Staff are helpful too.

We bought a push mower online last year. Only used it maybe 3-4 times tops and it was garage kept. Wouldnt start this year...thankfully it was less than a year old and was still under warranty for return. They gave us a full return on an in store credit card with no hassle at all !

Terri in the paint dept is awesome. I was having trouble trying to pick a perfect color for my bathroom and she picked out a color and nailed it my Bathroom looks spectacular and I get a lot of compliments on the color

I had gone everywhere trying to find wooden mini blinds. Home Depot was my last hope. They were the only store that had a good selection of blinds and the only ones with wooden blinds in the size I needed. Special shout out to Dijuana and an older gentleman whose name I didnt get for being so helpful!

One worker was assisting us and then just up and walked away without helping us figure out what we needed for a project were doing

My husband and I recently completed a plumbing project. We couldnt have done it without the knowledgeable help from Tim, in plumbing!

Im always very pleased with the respect and service you receive as soon as you walk through the doors. I also admire how well stocked and clean the store always presents itself. They are my favorite go to.

Its the second closest hardware store to my home, it also has great store hours to get what I need.

Always good to visit the depot. Inventory seems low so can’t always find what I need.

Had gone in for a very specific screw and this lady that works there whos name i shouldve gotten had offered us help after we wandered aimlessly looking for it and she was extremely kind and helpful and helped us find what we needed. Very kind and talked to you as if you were family.

Terrible customer service experience. I asked for help multiple times from the man working in the cabinet department with assistance and questions regarding pulls and hinges. I was told that he would have to special order the pulls on display that I wanted to purchase and he would have to charge me $350 shipping and handling for 45 pulls and 60 hinges. He said you can go to isle 13 or pick something out online. When I asked him a question regarding if a certain hinge would work, he repeated himself. He had no interest in helping me. None of the hinges or pulls were in the correct bins. I left feeling very frustrated considering the amount of money I have spent at this store.

Employees went above and beyond to help me unload a large return, and no difficulties getting a full refund. Much appreciated.

I think this place should be fined for gouging on wood prices. I have all my receipts& in early May2x4s were $7.25 a board, then mid May they were raised to$7.80 and now early June they are over$8.00 this is uncalled for& and I will be contacting the BBB. THEY LOST MY BUISNESS!!!# OH BY THE WAY, DONT BUY PLANTS THERE EITHER, TWICE THE PRICE OF WALMART& GRANTLINE NURSERY.

Helpful staff, directed me to the tomato plants I wanted and checkout was easy outside in the garden area. Now I just wait three months for tomatoes, but hey, gives me something to water for 90 days and that was all I was after 😂.

Went to buy an outdoor light security light prices were crazy getting so I cant stand to walk in that store use to love it also getting to where they just dont have hardly anything that Im looking for.

I can always find the things I need for home repairs here and the employees are always willing to help

Home Depot is what it is, pricy but they more than likely have what you need. Theres typically someone around to help you find things if you dont have their phone app.

Was okay. Price online for the safety vest was half of the store shelf price. I bought the vest online and picked it up a customer service. Store staff on the floor werent much if any help. The customer service employees however were helpful. $18-20 on shelves, $10.47 online.

Home depot has changed so much and not for the better! I used to go in there and you knew their names and they knew yours! they used to be genuinely friendly, now its as if they do it because they have to. I can never find someone who knows any answer to any questions I have. Most everyone seems to have a different idea of what customer service is, I can tell you what it used to be or was customer service. I may go elsewhere, if I find a good one Ill catch you up.

Im very pleased with Home Depot in New Albany, Indiana. I purchased a gallon of paint and had it tinted but when I came home and started using it, it wasnt the right color. I called, explained and they said theyd do it again for me. Actually, they ended up doing it 2 different times and the nice ladies there helped me figure out the problem why it was not matching my sample. The best part was, they did not charge me for the additional gallons they had to make for me. I appreciated that so much! They treat customers right and they are always very friendly.

This place, The Home Depot... A place of wonder and excitement. A place to live out your dreams of being a middle class sellout and furnishing your new kitchen. Picking between bathroom tiles has never before been the pitch of liveliness as it is inside the depot. Where power tools and general appliances are born and cleaning supplies are sold in bulk.

Had to ask multiple times for help with sand before someone honestly helped me. Generally pretty good.

If you are going to home depot, go with someone qho knows the layout or go with knowing everything yourself. I had a pleasant experience a few years ago with an older gentleman in about his 60s tell me not only how to install a new toilet but also what to look for and what i would need, even offered to do it himself if i couldnt figure it out. However, times change and unfortunately so does this Home Depot.Last few times ive gone in, not only have i been ignored by the employees, but I was repeatedly taken to the wrong area and when saying I Dont think this is the right aisle the manager said That I was wrong and hes got more important things to get done. I guess he could have misheard what i asked for however i was brought to their garden section when I asked where their door locks were.They are probably still the best place to get supplies, i just wouldnt ask any questions to the employees or managers.

Like most places like this, service is always an issue. Had a question for a certain department, and the person could not even stand up from the chair. Stayed seated, as opposed to walking to the location of my product question. Seemed to have no interest in resolving my issue. So I just left.

Awful experience ! I encourage anyone to run to Big Sandy or anywhere other than this location. After purchasing an appliance that was to be delivered in December, they refused to match the holiday sales pricing which was nearly $700 difference.What was additionally insulting was they did not provide the promised 10% military discount but instead gave us $35. The salesman explained that their margins were too thin.
