A nice place to get your special coffee drinks. My husband loves the Alchemist. I tried it and liked it too and I don’t like coffee. They have some outside seating for when the weather is nice. I would have given 5 stars but the inside is very crowded and not a lot of seating. A gentleman came in a wheel chair and could not get around the tables to the counter.

Excellent coffee. Time is taken to deliver an amazing flavor that one can truly appreciate. I had the salted caramel bourbon latte and oh my yummm! Will definitely visit again.

Stopped in today with my wife while shopping and I am glad I discovered this hidden gem. A small, but welcoming venue with a friendly staff and great coffee. Fast and cordial service! Will definitely be back 👍

My family and Is weekly, Sunday morning ritual. Gone here for years, both on to its original New Albany location on Market St and also Its new one that is off the alley way for Market St. This is the place that made me fall in love with coffee, and it still holds in my heart as one of my favorite places today. The roast they use for their espresso is smoky, and a bit on the darker side but not overly bitter like you get with most dark roasts. They have a homemade bourbon caramel sauce they use in lattes and its fantastic. The picture Im sending in is of their traditional 5oz cappuccino.

The people there are so nice! I always go in before work and I get a discount for working locally. The White Mocha Latte is a favorite of mine!

This is the number one coffee spot in Indiana for anyone who subscribes to, or is a part of, the Reptilian Empire. The black coffee blend is as smooth as the underside of our bellies. With notes of roasted walnuts and a subtle hint of cinnamon it hits the pallet like the flesh of our enemies. Recommended by former U.S. Secretary of Defense Ronald Rumsfield, the atmosphere indoors is as lovely as our underground fortress. It has big garage door windows capable of opening up just like our blast doors during a Reptilian Raid. Follow the signs and you will reach the Promised Land of Coffee for our cold-blooded sensibilities.

This has been my go-to coffee shop for a while now. The staff is so friendly, and the coffee is always on point. Their new location in alley has such a cool vibe.

In an alleyway, this store is very difficult to find. It is like a hidden gem. Great coffee. Those that are coffee connoisseurs will probably enjoy it too, although, that is also a matter of taste.

This hidden little coffee shop will make you forget you are in New Albany. Located in the alley across from the space cats, you will find this hidden gem. I know that sounds really made up, but I promise you I am not joking.

I really enjoyed this shop. The location is in the heart of downtown, on a shaded street. The bar is near the middle with ample seating. A well stocked vinyl collection is on full rotation adding a nice background noise. In the very back is their roaster, which the manager happily showed me. At the bar you can choose from espresso based drinks, pour over, and cold brew. A small selection of pastries are also available. For me an espresso and pour over, along with a bar of specialty chocolate, is a great way to spend an hour.

The Best Coffee in ANY town! These folks know how to roast and serve the best of what coffee can be. And the best pour-over almost anywhere, on par with San Francisco roasters. Nice relaxed environment, very friendly service. Be sure to take a bag of beans home, if you have a good grinder 😎

It’s always a pleasant experience to come to Quills in the morning and get a small hot chocolate for the kids and a drink for ourselves. We tried the salted caramel bourbon latte this morning and didn’t really taste all those flavors which, left us disappointed. The art on display is for purchase, but perhaps our Southern Indiana tastes aren’t quite up to the caliber of the pieces on show.All-in-all, this is a nice place to start the day.

Dig it. Go down the alley and get a coffee. It’s gooooood. Excellent brews and food. Sleek atmosphere and quality staff. Sit inside or out and make a morning of it. This is the place to get your caffeine. We were traveling and found this place on a whim! Worth the stop across the river!

Coffee was very good & staff was friendly. Unfortunately the wifi kept disconnecting me every few minutes and I couldnt get any work done. Nice atmosphere for sitting & chatting but go elsewhere if you need to be online.

This rating used to be 5 stars, but since hours were reduced to 4 oclock I am removing stars. The coffee and tea selections are good. The wait time can be a little longer but youre paying for good coffee so it takes a little more time!

Hip coffee shop atmosphere on cool, friendly main st New Albany. Need outdoor tables. Minimalist food options, but can go to Adriennes for breakfast and here for good coffee drinks.

The absolute best coffee. Offers different delivery methods of coffee: cold press, French press, and more. You will not be disappointed. I personally love the dark roast or a white mocha.

Quills is THE BEST coffee (and especially espresso) in the Kentuckiana area. Go! Enjoy!The new location in New Albany is terrific: open, airy, lots of light wood and space to spread out. Amazing taste in their drinks, as they have all the right ingredients: expert staff, excellent equipment, and great beans (they now roast their own).In Louisville, try out the Baxter Avenue location that delivers great taste treats, on a nice stretch of shops worth strolling about.

We were looking at the beautifully restored shops in the area and smelled the delicious roasted coffee and had to try some! All of us liked the Meile. The lattes were a hit too. The cold brew wasnt as smooth and sweet as I have tried previously but my dh enjoyed it. The donuts ( including the chamomile) were delicious.

This used to be one of my favorite Quills locations, but it seems like its going downhill. No coffee table by the couch or endtables by the cushioned chairs...cobwebs in the corners... dirty and hole-filled walls.. bummer, man. I expect the same kind of environment at each location, but this one seems like its been forgotten since the two other spots opened up. Used to be much nicer.
