Before this place opened, I told the guy it would be cool to open a liquor store in this old bank called the liquor vault. It was cool then and still cool now.This is the only place to go if you need a wide selection, they have some of the most varieties in the area. Ive known the guy running it a while and everytime ive seen him hes always real nice.The big issues that come to this place are less about the store and more about the city as you got to be very careful driving your vehicle around the pot hole ridden lot where this old bank resides. Also it being on the corner with a run down thrift shop next door across from an abandoned gas station for 10+ years means that area isnt too high on the refurbish list.They do got the ATM out side by the tube pickup thing the bank had. Only way i can see it being better is if they could somehow use the bank Tube for a drive thru option but pretty sure that would be a legal/ethical issue.

This place rocks. Great hours and nice people. Prices are comparable and a good selection of spirits. I thought they opened at 6am but 7 am is nice for us 3rd shift folks.

I go months to years without drinking but I do go into liquor stores from time to time to get cigarettes. Store was okay, the proprietor seemed standoffish towards me probably because I wasnt a regular. This is somewhat understandable,however as treatment of custom should be the best the establishment can provide, a person can keep a wary eye out for potential problems from an unknown customer without telegraphing it so strongly. I strongly dislike giving my money to ANYONE whom I believe is being rude or disrespectful towards me. It feels like Im rewarding a badly behaving child for their performance. I may not return here.

Fabulous liquor Store. I Love the Staff. They are the only place in New Albany that sells Shinerboch beer outside of Texas, that I know of.

Funny...I didnt actually visit this evening. I walk through the intersection where The Vault is located and its a mess right now. Guess Maps was confused. Love the staff!! I frequently stop, even if all I need is a hug.
