As far as trust and service know how these guys are a 5☆ . The only reason I gave a 4 is that they UP-charge 4% for you to use a credit card. That left a bad taste in my mouth on the whole transaction. To be fair, I was told about it, but that didnt make it any better.

Ive been taking our car and van to Motor City Auto for almost 2 years. Joe and Nick are always courteous and helpful, and their mechanics know their stuff.I know enough about cars to know what the possible issues are, and also when some of my past mechanics have tried to add on extra issue. Never had any problem with Motor City. They only bring up real issues and talk you through it, possible resolutions and their recommendations.They leave the choice up to you and dont pressure like major car shops do.Good prices too, considering the high quality and the honesty.Thanks!

They fixed what I needed, but CUT OUT a large portion of the undercarriage heat sheild and didnt replace it, and broke a recently installed flex pipe on the exhaust. Mechanic made no mention of either issues before releasing the car to me. Took them 4 days to complete 4 hours of labor which supposedly began the day after I took the car in, and poorly communicated or did not communicate at all any of setbacks that led to the increased time. When they did call, it was at the very end of the day, continually leaving me without a vehicle, not knowing when it would be finished as they always told me tomorrow and so Id expect it to be finished tomorrow each time I was told so. Go somewhere else.

Well changed my feelings on this one. Paid 90 bucks to tell me nothing was wrong with my car and it was in shop next week with a busted steering shift. And they check it for free, I took it in for steering was told it was a belt. Thank you and the shop I took it to said you should be ashamed of yourselves .
