Great food, local Diner with AMAZING customer service. They take the time to learn your name as you become a regular. They greet anyone and everyone with a hello as you walk through and a bye, see you next time as you leave. The staff at the Pit, is next to none as far as customer service- they truly are the BEST!!The wet burrito is bomb! The fish is great and the breakfast is the BEST!!!
Called in order for food. Went to pick it up. Food wasnt ready yet. Pulled forward to wait for food. Employees forgot about me. Waited 45 minutes to then go inside and find my food sitting there cold. Will not be back. Appreciate the non apology.

Amazing food, staff and owners. The daily specials are the best and price is perfect for families. Food is fresh and made daily soups and chili is the best around. We eat here typically twice a week using their easy drive thru and inside is so nice and inviting. the staff really go the extra mile to make you feel like a regular. I will continue to support such an amazing business like The Pit Stop because its like family and so worth visiting.

This 5 star review goes out to our employees! They have adapted and conquered throughout many difficult challenges during a pandemic. We all have been judged, responded to comments and complaints about preforming less than perfect during situations most couldn’t handle! Our employees have been spread thin, Worked extra shifts, NEVER COLLECTED A PENNY FROM UNEMPLOYMENT and never complained! These people kept this business going AND we appreciate them more than we could ever express. It’s very easy to write a negative review and judge people, but please know we are all trying our best and our intentions are never to make you have a bad meal or experience ❤️

I hadnt had a chance to do a review but this place gets 3 stars because my waitress was nice to me. I visited this place about 3 weeks ago upon my moving to New Baltimore and wanting to check out food . This place had a 4.8 so I decided to give it a try. The food was decent but they had no other options besides pork (I wanted some Turkey sausage but understand every place doesnt have that). First off, I know I was the only black person in there but that shouldnt have mattered. People literally turned around in their seats to look at me (I was sitting at the bar part or the front counter rather)!! I mean they could have just looked out the side of their eyes like they never saw a black person before. I was so ashamed of people like its 2021. Black people are everywhere ! I mean really. Anywho, that was my honest experience. My particular waitress was nice, food was decent but atmosphere totally made me uncomfortable.
Breakfast was excellent, prices were reasonable, and the service was some of the best I’ve ever had. Everyone there seemed so happy to be there, and so were we.
I cant tall you how much I love this place and what memories the food brings back. The Thursday Hot Roast Beef is phenomenal and I havent had sliders like the ones they make since I was kid... So delicious! Friendly, Great staff as well.

We live in Georgia and are visiting friends in the area. We have been here twice and loved it both times. The service is excellent and the food was superb. We tried to get something different than last time, Eggs Benedict, but it was so good we had to get it again. The chef really knows what he is doing because besides being one of the best we have ever had, the presentation was like in a 5 star restaurant. Go here you will not be disappointed.

Saw the Pit Stop in a review on Fox2 news awhile back. Moving to the area soon, so decided to have breakfast. Everything was delicious, nice portions, good prices from the French toast to the omelets. Cant wait to try lunch & dinner items soon! Very friendly and attentive staff. They all checked on us to make sure we were all set. Welcomed with a hi & thanked when we left.

My real rating is 4.5. I really love this place. I think it’s wonderful that they have a drive-through and the food is delicious. My critique is the size of the establishment. That place is so busy that sometimes it is hard to find a spot. I still give it a high rating because I understand that there isn’t much they can do about that at this point. My only other criticism is their hours. I think they should have extended hours. Many people don’t get back from work until 6:30. I understand the owner wants to spend time with her family and that’s very important but perhaps it is time to hire a manager for evening shifts?Overall this place is very lovely and worth going to at least once!

Updated review- I’m changing this rating to 5 stars! My husband and I went here for breakfast and it was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The service was wonderful and you could tell the environment was really positive. Everything was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend for breakfast!!I ordered a roast beef sandwich with some sides to go. Half my order was wrong and the sandwich was subpar at best. I’m really surprised this place had so many good reviews. I will try it again in case this first experience is not normal for them, but I’m not impressed so far!

I dont normally go to anywhere with Diner in the name, but I was visiting family and they love the place. I was impressed. I got the veal cutlets which came with mashed potatoes and a veggie and it was all really good. The wet burrito my company got was really good as well. The service was awesome. Definitely a pleasant surprise and would happily go back. Prices of a diner but much better quality than one would usually expect!

This was my first time here. I utilized the drive-thru. Quick to take my order. Not a long wait for my order. I ordered breakfast. The meal was perfect and the price was great for the amount of food. Eggs were cooked perfectly over-medium. Everything was amazing!!

We was at Pit Stop today, our waitress Jenna was very friendly and kept checking to see if we needed anything else. Restaurant was clean and they were wearing masks and sanitizing tables and condiments on tables. Best onion rings and mushroom Swiss burger. Hubby had corned beef and eggs, he scarfed it up. Lol. Will be going again. Thank you Jenna for the great service.

Normally don’t have an issue here but today the breakfast was very disappointing. They said they were out of home fries so we had to get hash browns and the amount of food was much less than usual. We eat here often. Hopefully it was just a bad day but we ate our breakfasts and aren’t even full.
My husband got food poisoning after eating here.

Our second visit. Food and service is excellent. Today ordered Slim Jim sandwich, it was on special. The sandwich was delicious, with a generous portion of thin sliced ham. The server was very attentive to our requests as well. Food came to the table fast and hot which I always appreciate it. With a variety of daily specials to choose from and a full selection on their “regular” menu we will definitely be back again and again. We are so glad we found a diner in our back yard that we can love.

We enjoy it here, but they have one major issue: sometimes the are no tables available (has been an issue every time weve been there during breakfast) and the is no waiting area. During the warm months, you can wait outside, but in the winter some people just leave or stand awkwardly around at the entrance, amid the current diners. All the in and out traffic also makes it pretty cold in the dining room. If they could add some sort of entrance with a waiting area, I feel it would greatly add to the restaurant.
