I love this Patriot business! They have the best knowledgeable & hard working staff. I’ve been going here for years for all my landscaping needs & have always been completely satisfied. The shrubs & trees that I’ve purchased two years ago are still thriving & look amazing. All of my neighbors always ask how I make my yard look so heavenly, but the truth is that I couldn’t have done it without the expertise & products of Meldrum Brothers. Best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Bobby was the so personable & helpful, he had everything loaded in my truck by the time I checked out. Also their selection of paver & planting were outstanding.

Ordered fill dirt. Was told and seen there may be rocks in the dirt which there was and is OK. What Im not ok with is there being this much cement and concrete in the dirt. This is NOT clean fill dirt. It looks like they took the dirt from a demolition site. We found clothes, rugs, irrigation pipes, steel pipes, and asphalt in it as well. None of this was shown to me when they showed what they would be delivering. Im attaching photos of what I received. Do not buy from here!Edit: By clean fill dirt I am speaking of clear of debris, large rubble, and garbage. I asked your associate and was told it would be and that there would only be small rocks which I stated was ok. Look at the pictures. Thats no small rocks. I needed a bobcat to move them. Also, clean fill dirt and topsoil are two different things. You should know better than that.

Nice people and they had what I needed. They have been around for a long time and I hope they stay a lot longer.

Ive been here many times for projects, good prices friendly staff. They have also delivered larger loads of bulk material for us.

Would really love for a manager to call me back. Can’t seem to get that to happen. My mom (a senior and a widow) ordered way too much dirt over the phone (would have thought they’d advise her that she didn’t need 25 YARDS OF DIRT to help revive her grass on a residential front lawn) but she says she ordered topsoil, paid a LOT for it, but with no receipt given, how do I know. What we got was what looks like fill dirt with glass, used water bottles, pieces of rubber, etc. Probably more will be found when we pay someone else to take a lot of the dirt away and spread what we have since they will not take it back and I can’t get an explanation. I never leave bad reviews, but my blood is boiling. Nightmare is an understatement!

Beautiful mums and amazing pumpkins. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and wonderful. Tarra was incredibly warm, friendly and helpful.

Middle of February we visited because we are getting our plants together for the garden and green house. The lady wasnt helpful and pretty much laughed at me after asking when they get the first plant delivery. The few items I was looking at didnt have a price. I was definitely looking for a more personalized experience guess Ill just stick with a more corporate approach like home depot.

We walked in and no one was wearing a mask. Also, they only had one kind of pea gravel.

Awful! Do not buy your topsoil from them. Paid for 5 yds “Premium” topsoil and upon delivery found we received what one of the girls referred to as the “junk”. Took out over 20 5-gallon pails of rocks, clay, glass, wire and whatever else. This was being used to reseed parts of our lawn so now may have wasted the money on seed too.Called 2x to complain and try to get a refund of the difference between the premium and junk stuff. I was told each time Nate would call me back and I’m still waiting.

Vincent is very helpful and knowledgeable. The fairy gardens are adorable and theres even a deer! Ill definitely be back!

My husband went in to purchase top soil waited for service a long time Sale person took a phone call instead of placing caller on hold due to the call was very long she did not acknowledge his presence bad service.

Not like the old days When the Red Barn Was the only place to go. now it has a corporate feel, as their is no one in charge that cares or wants to keep you business. The nursery stock is low grade and over priced, and the kids in the yard are just that KIDS with NO sense of caring for the customer, that comes from lack of leadership.PS the Girls up front do their best.

Meldrums service is always friendly. I get my bulk landscaping materials here. The premium dirt is the best around.

They are a very helpful mom and pop store. I love it there.

Should have taken the other bad reviews seriously. Horrible customer service. Had to come out multiple times to see a product to make sure everything on it worked, had talked to the manager Pauline an hour or so before, when I got there, she had run out on a personal errand, that was what her employee told me. Next time I came back, she told me they were too busy to help and I had to come back, yet another day. Would not ever go back there again, nor would I give them another dollar of my money.

Several mix-ups, brought wrong stone, wants to penalize me for a mistake that wasnt mine, really neither one of us, but I should not have to pay. Labor a 8 on 1 to 10 scale, communication not the best, wife chose plants that will need maintaining yearly, not for me at my age.Now much communication is needed to get what you pay for.

Usually have a good experience local and convenient I use them occasionally. Glad my guy Brian came to work there he was a lot of help over the years .
