I am from out of town but I was visiting a friend that lives in New Bedford. I stopped here before I drove home. I was impressed at how friendly and kind the employees there were. It was today, 5/26/21 around 540p-6pm if that helps! I found more items available in this store than the Sally’s near my home which was a nice bonus!

If I could put zero stars I would. I had a friend of mine go to this store and wrote her a list of specific items to get that I needed to do what she wanted done to her hair. She came back with a ion color remover and stated that the girl told her to try this first. My friend ended up getting 3 packets of it and 20 volume to mix with it. The girl gave my sister and friend advice to mix in 3 oz of boiled water first to break down the color remover and then to add 9 oz of the 20 volume. By the time I was as done applying this to her hair, it left her hair feeling boiling hot. The bowl was legit boiling and steaming like a witches cauldron. We ended up rinsing It out early. It ruined this poor girls hair so bad. I feel the guilt of even listening to this advice. Her hair is dry and falling out. I should have followed my gut, because I never worked with that product before and the steps I was told sounded a bit strange. I even stated I wasnt familiar with this technique. My advice is to not take advice from the employees that work there for not all of them have the proper experience for the job. I go to the Sallys in north dartmouth. Ive never had a problem there. I feel bad on how upset and devastated my friend is.

This store is amazing. Beside the fact that I love the merchandise, and people who work there, their service is way above and beyond reasonable expectations!!! I recently had an incident happen there, that was totally my fault ( I had no idea ). They never lost patience or politeness, though I insisted on getting to the bottom of the incident. Long story, short, I solved the issue, while talking to my family. I was totally in the wrong the whole time. I am so grateful, that upon calling them to let them know, they were very forgiving a, and kind. I highly recommend this store to everyone for their hair, and beauty products. Thank you to Sallys Beauty Supply, Kings highway, New Bedford, Ma. !!!!!!!!!

Went in today early in the morning and later afternoon and the girl who helped me saved my hair. Didn’t catch her name but I’m super thankful! Definitely will be back to this Sally’s.

I like the products but the service was poor. I purchased a product ($13.00) and upon opening it, I saw it was damaged. I returned it the very next day and the woman (Im assuming she was the store manager) approached me and accused me of breaking it to return it. Im going to assume its because they may experience this quite a bit so I was patient. Customer service was absent in this situation. Quite unfortunate.

When ever i go i allways find what i need, and the staff are very nice and helpful.
