The tea was a bit too bitter for my taste- ( and I like tea with no sugar!)- and there is quite a bit of ice in the drinks, but the chai latte is wonderful, and so is the atmosphere. Overall a very good experience~ :3

The wrap I got was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and cozy wish I had one closer to home.

I started to look for a place to eat for lunch when we all started to work from home and It took me about a year to find this place and Im glad I did. I get the BLT everday and its great every time. Its also a cute place that might be nice to sit at once the pandemic lets us. I highly recommend this place!

Everything is amazing! Cute space, great quality, nothing on the menu disappoints. Iced chai’s are perfect, wraps are to die for! And all at an affordable price.

The Green Bean is a great coffee shop with great service. The location is ideal for meeting up with prospective new clients, old friends, or just zening out and unplugging from the world over a cup of coffee. They have a great selection of sweet snacks at the counter too.

Its not a place I every feel the need to go to again. Theyre coffee is alright and their food isnt bad. Its just not my kind of coffee shop. It seems to be the heart of downtown though so dont let me deter you. The staff their was really nice and they had this cool leave a book take a book section. That was awesome.

I had a breakfast burrito, and it was the tastiest sandwich Ive had in years! Love the ambiance of the place. The staff was super friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this bohemian eat-in.

I do Iove this amazing little nook, Green Bean. My first time here, I ordered a cappuccino. It was very well-made and hot to order. I doctored it up with some condiments they had out (cinnamon, nutmeg and powdered sugar). They had an amazing array of coffee options, too. You will be better off starting your day with a coffee from here rather than nasty Dunkin Donuts!

A group of us came in and ordered drinks and snacks. The drinks were good and no one cared that we played board games for over an hour. Wish they had a broader selection for flavored coffee.

One of my favorite places to go in NB. Coffee is consistently good, great selection of tea, and I love the healthier options that they offer. The Staff is always super friendly, and it has a wonderful atmosphere. Definitely a bit more expensive than their options, but worth it.

I love this little coffee shop. Its perfect to grab a quick bite to eat or a drink. I will say; your experience is highly dependent on the staff that serves you.They are on the pricier side, but overall, if youre looking for a good place to get a coffee downtown, and would rather not go to Dunkin, The Green Bean is a good alternative.

Pros: Great environment, happy staff, made from scratch menu items, great coffee, local owned, huge social spot, what more could you ask for?Cons: Sandwiches take a while to make, smoothies could be fresher.Overall: This place is awesome. I have never had a bad time and I go several times a week. Sometimes youll have a little wait on your sandwich, but thats only during peak rush hour (to be expected) Everyone makes mistakes and one of the best parts of this cafe is they are human. Theyre willing to help you out. Again, great little spot. : D

I had the portobello wrap, it was good but perhaps too much oil. It also took quite a long time for me to get my order. The coffee was pretty good and the prices were decent. Also, its the only place open on Sundays in that part of town.

One of the best cups of coffee Ive ever had in my life. Only giving 4 stars because whoever the cashier was (unfortunately dont remember her name; short blonde hair) was so visibly miserable and unfriendly we almost went somewhere else. Glad I didnt because the coffee and muffin were exceptional, but she was a total turn-off for my experience there. Will go back for the coffee, but geez, dont take it out on the customer if youre having a bad day. Sorry if that seems harsh, but customer service is a huge portion of the experience.

Im new to the area, so I wanted to stop by coffee shop. There are many in the area to choose from in New Bedford, although is a small City its Lively and energetic. The green bean is a great fit. There are both omnivore and vegetarian options, being a vegetarian this is great! The coffee was delicious so I will definitely be coming back with a book to read and enjoy a big cup of coffee, definitely encourage that with any visitors. Its easily located with convenient parking, the windows are wide open to see the beautiful downtown and the staff is great. They communicate well with each other tree to the customer with familiarity and warmth. Its definitely a location Ill be coming back to you and encourage you to stop by as well.

I go to the Green Bean several times a week for breakfast and lunch. Everything is always delicious, they have plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. Service is usually great though some of the staff should probably go. The kind of place that knows all of the regulars.

Dirty place, coffee had no flavor, macchiato in a coffee mug? and the woman who waited on us couldnt have been more rude. Thoroughly unenjoyable place to be despite the great location. I looked around and it seemed like the other staff was pleasant and welcoming perhaps but the woman that served us was clearly unhappy to take our order.If the service was great or even good, this review would have said gritty chic coffee bar thats fun to visit, amazingly cool setting thats great to hang at and drink your coffee. Service really matters ...

Coffee is super weak, the blueberry scone was dry and bland. I asked a question about the scone before ordering it and was looked at like I was nuts. The woman who made our drinks was super friendly, the one at the register not so much. Great name, but completely underwhelming.

Great little place, comfortable seating and atmosphere. Quality coffee and a lot if healthy options. Their smoothies are A+ and the wraps are better than they have any right to be. Much recommended.

The customer service here is really disappointing. I love their bagels with hummus which keeps me coming back, but this last experience is making me think it’s just not worth it. I ordered 2 bagels and 2 drinks to go. After a few minutes I’m handed the bagels with no sign of my drink orders. I gave them another couple of mins and nothing. I can see the workers just standing around doing nothing so I finally asked one of them where are my drinks? No apology at all she just asked what I ordered and said she would make them. Really terrible customer service. I hope the owner or manager sees this review because your workers are making your business lose customers. I highly recommend that other patrons DON’T waste there time with Green Bean.

THANK YOU Green Bean, for having so many vegan options. My husband and I are regulars here for that very reason. The tofu scramble wrap is SO good - I always add veggie sausage to kick it up a notch. The vegan version of a BLT (TLT - tofu bacon, lettuce, tomato) is also delicious. The smoothies and coffee are also AWESOME (and can all be made dairy-free). Great staff, too! You rock, Green Bean!

The food and coffee are excellent. The quality seems to improve a little bit each year they are in business. This is a very well managed, efficient restaurant that gets you food and coffee FAST. Inviting atmosphere and VERY reasonable prices.

This is my husbands and my favorite cafe to go to since moving from Boston to New Bedford. Yummy vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast/lunch and they usually have a vegan baked good as well! Muffins are delish.

Ah! What would I have done without the Green bean!Since I purchased my house in New Bedford I have been going to the Green Bean very frequently. I dont have internet at home (yet) and the Green Bean is a welcoming place to sit down and have WebEx meetings, while having a terrific sandwich, great coffee, and very friendly and attentive staff to serve you. The only reason I dont give it 5 stars (even though I feel guilty about it) is because of the fact that they dont actively seek you if you order a cup of coffee and you seat down (not a huge deal). The other day I ordered a breakfast wrap that was excellent, and the guy that delivered it to me was very friendly, but my coffee was placed on the front counter (although I ordered them together), and it was basically being pushed around by other customers until I realized that it was there and proceeded to pick it up. Its their process I guess, but I think that it would make more sense to have both the items I ordered delivered to me at the same time.Regardless, the Green Bean is an awesome friendly, and cozy place, and now that I know the process I just get my coffee immediately, and then wait for my sandwich to be delivered.
