Horrible. I understand refreshing someones insurance and not prescribing something due to a lack of diagnosis code but no information is not acceptable. Do I reach out to the doctor about inputting a diagnosis code or do you? And Im pretty sure a pharmacist is suppose to speak to me regarding new medication rather than you pass me off to the unknown. Thanks for giving me information on what to avoid or how to take this medication (sarcasm). I will be finding a different pharmacy to handle my needs from now on and will be keeping others informed as well.
Walgreens should take note of other major retailers. If I order something online for curbside pickup, dont send me an e-mail saying its ready to be picked up if youre not even offering curbside pick up at that time. 730 am isnt such an unreasonable time to pick up either...
24 hours. but at 12:30 there is no lights on and no cars here for employees
Long line to pick up prescriptions. I waited over 15 minutes.
Always friendly service and staff! Especially during these crazy times...thank you SO much!
As a Walgreens employee myself I have to say I’m disappointed by the front store employees the few times I’ve been in there. There’s no consistency with wearing masks AT ALL.In fact I went in today for a return and I had so many issues with, I believe her name was Peggy, that I left fuming. First off: her mask was only covering her mouth. Really? Get your employees in check with that. It’s not okay. Second: the return I did should have taken a couple minutes max and she took about seven minutes to figure it out. I had the receipt there and ready for her and everything. Third: I wanted my return back in cash and before I could say that she had already processed it as debit. It may have been an off day for her but apparently her performance has been pretty consistent from what I’ve been told.At the very VERY least. Get on top of the mask situation. That is so not okay.
They had all the things i want
Most amazing customer service here. Staff is willing to help with out even having to ask for it. Jason helped my mom and I with using the photo printing section today which was so nice and even went out of his way to print them right away for us so we didn’t have to wait!
Friendly service, in stock always & offers of assistance! Great Job!
Had to go and get a prescription for my mother last night since she was way to sick to get it herself. The guys that where at the pharmacy where super friendly and told me it would be about 15 minutes. I asked if it was ok to sit in the drive thru until it was done or if another car pulled up behind me. They said that was ok. Funny thing was it was about 10 minutes later and a car pulled up behind me, so true to my word I pulled off to circle back around. When I pulled back up they had my mothers prescription all ready for me and the women pharmacist was there ready to ask me if I had any questions. Wondering how I didnt know this pharmacy was 24 hours (esp with my asthma meds) I will totally use this 24 hour pharmacy if/when I get a script after hours. (Love the Walgreens by me - but not 24 hours) So New Berlin for the win when it comes to after hours meds being needed! Thank you for being so quick and helpful!!!
This is a pretty nice Walgreens. All of the staff has always been very friendly and willing to help. The photo shop personnel have been the most helpful. I have been in there a couple of times for passport sized photos (sometimes for passports and sometimes for other things) and the people helping have always been great. I normally go in expecting things to take hours to do and they always surprise me.
I was diagnosed with a DVT (Blood clot) at an ER very near to this Walgreens Pharmacy. The ER sent an electronic prescription for a 2 week supply of self administered blood thinner injections. When i went to the counter, i was told they only had a 2 day supply. Explaining that I was from out of town I asked her to call 1 of 2 24 hour Walgreens in my hometown. She took down the information and asked me to take a seat. After 10 minutes of watching her then process other prescriptions, I walked out to my car and called one of the 24 hour Walgreens. They had an ample supply and transferred the prescription to their store. There was a little difficulty in billing because of the price but once I explained that I had a blood clot in my arm, the pharmacist escalated it with corporate. This process took about twenty minutes of my time. I walked back into the store, leaned over the counter and told the young lady Thank you for not helping me. I took care of it myself. She responded I am on hold with them now! A 40 minute drive home and a $10.00 copay later, I am now comfortably resting in my recliner thanks to the Pharmacist Susan at the Walgreens on 4 Mile Road and Douglas Avenue in Caledonia, WI
Just went for covid shot.
I am a woman of my word and Melissa in the pharmacy department deserves to be recognized for her great customer service! She was friendly, super helpful, and moved with a lot of empathy. My interaction with her made me leave the store with a smile on my face :)
When it comes to 24 hour pharmacies this is your only option in New Berlin, but if you are able to go somewhere else - do it!As a 6 year resident of New Berlin and long-time customer (against my will) Ive had more issues with this Walgreens than I care to recount. So Ill keep it to a few of the worst:Sitting in the waiting area with my very sick 5 year-old for over 90 minutes - after being repeatedly told the prescription was just about ready.Filling a 90-day prescription with 30-days of medication and failing to mention that doing so would mean another two prescriptions would need to be written for the remaining 60-days.Being denied pickup of a routine refill for my wife because my drivers license had expired the day prior.Being told prescriptions were ready to only later find out they were out of stock.Waiting an nearly an hour for a prescription to be filled at 1AMI could go on...To be fair, there have been times where Ive walked in and picked up a prescription without any significant wait or hassle, but long wait times and and poor customer service are the norm.
This is the second time this Walgreens has saved me this month. They are open 24 hours and have had great experiences both times. This particular time was on Easter. The Pharmacist was also super friendly and helpful with my questions on a particular product. Thank you staff!
I have to say I’m very disappointed in the service here. The pharmacists seem to be too busy and overworked. It seems as if you’re bothering them when you come to pick up or ask for a refill on a prescription. I have come here several times only because of the 24/7 service. On several occasions after I have called and asked for a extra to be ready at certain times so I may pick up from work or on my way home.... they are either not ready or have never been acknowledged that they need to be filled! The attitude of the pharmaceutical team is unreal and frankly unprofessional. Looking for another location that is open 24/7 sad but true.
I feel the need to address all the one-star pharmacy related reviews. I worked at Walgreens and my husband still does, so I know why things take a long time and have to be done a certain way.1. I dont remember when it changed, but the pharmacist HAS to hand you the prescription, even if its just a refill and nothings changed. Happens to me all the time. Its not a stupid store rule or anything, its a law now.2. As far as the long waiting time issue:- Corporate has cut the budgeted hours for pharmacy. Not just at this store, but all stores. What this means, is a store only has a certain number of hours it can schedule people in pharmacy. Just because you dont see a lot of people working in a store, any store, dont assume it can be controlled at the store level.- Insurance. Dealing with (our) insurance companies can be time consuming. I dont even know that much about it other than its a huge pain.- Calling doctors offices/finding prescriptions/ figuring out why a prescription cant be filled/spending time on the phone/dealing with problems. This might not really explain it, but people that work in a pharmacy never sit still. And theres a reason any health care field makes a great choice to go into; more and more baby boomers are retiring. Every Walgreens pharmacy is busy. The best I can suggest, refill any prescriptions as early as possible - the pharmacy will hold them for a week. Try not to go during peak hours (noon, 5pm). Go inside instead of using the drive-thru. Try not to get angry. Theyre doing the best they can. I cant imagine its all that fun for them, to be working as fast as they can, without ANY kind of break, waiting on impatient, possibly angry customers who might be upset about things they cant control.
This is possibly the worst Walgreens Ive had to deal with. First off the pharmacy is lacking some intelligence. My 6 year old had strep and my husband who also had strep had to pick some meds there after a long urgent care visit and he came home with not enough antibiotic for my son. My husband had to call the doc office to make sure it wasnt a mistake and of course it was. So then my husband had to go back pick up the meds and took them 20 minutes to realize that the meds were ready, and sitting on the counter waiting for him. I also called about getting my flu shot, but being in the transition of getting a new job and my insurance card not yet in my hands and how I go about getting my flu shot. The person who answered the phone was not nice and was not informative. This place needs to step it up since its the only Walgreens near me. On the corner of not happy and not healthy.
The only 24 hour pharmacy in the area. For that they get 5 stars. I cannot tell you how convenient it is to have scripts filled there when needed, rather than have to wait until the next business day to pick them up.
Ive never had a problem with the photo dept. until the last month. I had three Christmas present planned with pictures and they were all ruined. One I received someone else’s picture, the next was a wood panel with a bubble in the picture and the third and finally chance was one, just one 8x10 with half the picture cut off.
On Dec 23,2017 evening around 10pm - the Asian woman that works there is very unhelpful and tried to claim she did not receive prescription when it fact it was there. This woman should be fired as this is a 24 hr pharmacy and ppl need their medicine in a timely manner. Then she was to lazy to look up insurance card and left us sit there waiting. Then another woman was trying to make me pay The pharmacist was able to find insurance info so what is the point having those woman work there when they are incompetent and make the nice pharmacist guy do all the work?
One of my Two Favorite Walgreens Locations. I have had bad luck with some locations but this one has patient and helpful customer service reps and is open in the early morning hours before any other location is open, which helps so much with my schedule.
Very nicely merchandised and filled. Always find what I need when Im there.
This is honestly the worst Walgreens location Ive been to within Wisconsin. Every time I come to pick up pictures, I have to wait around and actively look for someone to finally show up to the photo center. For their prescription center, there is an online feature to scan your insurance card - dont waste your time because the moment you go to pick up a prescription they take 10 minutes to manually enter all the info again. Then for a monthly refill for basic birth control, I had to wait around for a pharmacist to finally hand me despite me having no changes or questions. Terrible customer service.
Attempted to fill multiple prescriptions at this location. Each time, I was treated with the same apathy, bad attitudes, and general lack of helpfulness Ive come to expect from this pharmacy. If you run into any roadblocks in regards to your insurance, they offer no guidance on the process, and get snappy whenever you ask any questions. Being a young adult with little to no experience with medications, prescriptions, or insurance agencies I have never felt more lost than when dealing with this pharmacy. If youre a sadist looking to get your kicks, look no further. Heres your Six Flags. However, if you want a quick, hassle free process, look elsewhere.
I called with a question about getting CDs made from negatives. The girl could not have been nicer. She was unsure about a question she answered and even got another person to help with it. They were very sweet. Thank you Walgreens.
Best service! I have no complains.
Never in my life have I consistently waited this long in a drive through. It is so bad that it is basically a running joke in the area.
The customers that fill their prescriptions here are morons. I went in the store at 6pm after getting a prescription called in at 11am. It was not ready when I got there. I went through the drive through 20 minutes later, as they had given me an estimated 20 minute wait time, and the pharmacist decided to help the car that got there at least 10 minutes after I did. This guy was trying to argue that he deserved a refill even though the date was still 3 days from now. I waited 40 minutes for this moron to finally give up and leave. In total, I waited inside for 25 minutes and outside for 40. I advise all to never come here if you dont have to.
No more really needs to be said here. Well just say I agree with the reviews of the pharmacy here. They are just a bundle of joy
My favorite Walgreens! They always have everything I need and the workers are very nice as well!
A fine shopping experience. Have not tried to get prescriptions from here.
Worse experience EVER!!Mike in the pharmacy was completely RUDE and couldnt say much more for the manager Leagh.. I guess theyre a reason certain people work 3rd shift!
This is the worst walgreens I have ever been to. I have gone to get my prescription filled over 20 times and it never fails to infuriate. Besides inept pharmacists, there seems to be no idea how to run a store that sees such a demand for prescriptions. Its a consistent 20-30min wait every damn time, even if I call the script in ahead of time. Stop selling your cheap holiday specials and do what Walgreens was intended to do...be a pharmacy! Mine as well grind up some roots and pinecones in the parking lot for tinctures rather than deal with this nonsense every...damn...time.
My local pharmacy, helpful pharmacists and assistants, always answer questions or concerns, and very patient with me particularly when I switched insurances twice in the same year.
I have nothing to say but wonderful things about this walgreens. My son who for many years who was sick and undiagnosed with a lung disease went through a lot of different medications, and this walgreens would actually call and see how he was doing when he started a new medication, because he was on so many of them. I know they can be busy at times, but the pharmacist has always been kind and helpful, NEVER appears to be rushed or blow you off like some pharmacies ive been to. Even when you walk into the store the remainder of the staff is helpful, and will ask if you need any help
Fast service and friendly staff.
Terrible customer service assistant manager is the worst
The slowest pharmacy I have ever been to.
I thought this was a 24/7 walgreens. Theres no one there to even answer a phone call at 10:00pm.
I do not meet they guide lines to get medication from this Walgreens. After making me wait over 30 minutes.
Went there for a script they tell you its ready and then they tell you they need to talk to the doctor before releasing script and then treat you like cap until they ok the script!!!! Never go to this walgreens!
Standard drug store. The pharmacy is open 24/7 however, it always takes a long time to get meds because its so busy.
Terrible manager customer service ! Bad experience!
Friendly staff and if you need anything for Easter, this is the place!
Slow slow slow pharmacy
Sloooooooooowwwwww AF
