Hands down the best coffee place Ive been to in Wisconsin! Love love love the cold brew mocha! Good amount of coffee flavor with a hint of sweet mocha.Perfection in ever sip!

My wife and I started going to 1848 right before our daughter was born and have gone several times since (hello sleep deprivation). Every drink we have tried has been amazing! Iced coffee, dirty chai’s, barbajada, all delicious! If you’re looking to support a local coffee shop, this is the place to go. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and make a delicious cup of coffee!

One of the best coffee. Staff is friendly and pleasant. UPDATE: Definitely the best coffee I had so far. Bought some of their espresso coffee beans...the scent and taste went into high gear...an experience on its own.

Awesome local coffee. The owner is a cool dude putting out a fantastic product. This coffee beats anything else in New Berlin.I had the mocha. Terrific!He gets his beans from a Wisconsin roaster in Hayward, WI.He is currently operating out of a food trailer. But don’t let that stop you. It’s worth the stop.

I stop here everytime Im walking and theyre open. Im not much of a coffee drinker yet, but they have the best chai lattes here and the Backroads iced tea is also very good! Definitely recommend stopping in!

Just went there in the morning for a large iced chai latte and it was great! quick service, convenient location, amazingly friendly staff! Definitely beats the large chain places! I would highly recommend! ❤️

INTREPIDSYou can discern the quality of coffee quickly from an espresso or cold brew and 1848 knows what they’re doing! Their cold brew is unmatched in Milwaukee county. They have seasonal flavors and all are worth a taste! Personally, I prefer traditional blends and love how smooth 1848 is. Highly recommend.

Friendly local coffee shop with a rustic feel. Their coffee is just as good as the big coffee chains and they have just as much variety in drink options.

The caramel macchiato they make here is way better than any other place Ive tried. I will be going back for more :)

Josh the owner makes a great cup or can suggest something you may never have thought or heard of before. Very clean and comfortable environment if you have time to enjoy your coffee or great to pick up and run out the door on busy days.

Great coffee, friendly service, and much cheaper than the big chains! My teenage daughter who loves the big chain coffee places says this is her new favorite! Will definitely be back!

1848 is the definition of a locally owned and operated business. Starting in a food truck, 1848 has grown enough to be able to open up a brick and mortar location that looks as good as it tastes. great tasting coffee and an overall great atmosphere.

Campfire coffee is pure perfection. Large variety of drinks, not so much in eats. Fair warning for those who are expecting the food options of other coffee shops. Small, local coffee shop that focuses and excels in just that, and doesnt charge an arm and a leg.

I had a Cortado here. It was the best Ive ever had. I love going to Las Vegas to have a Cortado at the French coffee shop but this place has it beat! Josh is friendly and fast. The price cant be beat. I love the outside of the coffee trailer. It has a classy and vintage feel. The inside of the trailer is sleek and clean!
