I have done business with Joe Wilde in the past with previous homes and they were outstanding! They havent changed. I was able to get on their schedule that day due to a service cancellation. The customer rep was very pleasant and informed me the service tech would text when he was on his way. He called and gave me his ETA. Rick B introduced himself accessed the situation which was one of my torsion springs had broken. He was able to get my new torsion springs installed promptly. I also asked Rick B to perform maintenance on the bearings rollers and adjust the opener, so that the door would open its proper travel. Had a broken spring that prevented the garage door from opening. Filled out a repair request form on their website and was contacted shortly after to confirm my same day appointment. Technician Rick B suggested installing 2 new springs to replace the original 1 spring that was broke. He was able to quickly and efficiently install the new springs and make sure everything was working properly after. He also lubricated everything and went over preventative maintenace before leaving. Price was reasonable as well. Very satisfied.

Just had Rick B service our garage door from Joe Wilde Company. We needed our door adjusted because lifting the door manually it wold not stay up if it was partially open like it should. Also we had our safety switches replaced because the morning sun would make problems for our door to stay down. Rick was professional what he did. He tighted the springs and lubricated the springs, door screw and hinges. Rick gave pointers on maintaining the door. He came on time and was gone less than an hour. An overall excellent experience. When our garage door opener stopped working, I called Joe Wilde on a Saturday morning. They said that they could have somebody at our house on Monday. Rick B showed up, looked up at the at the loose chain and diagnosed the problem. He quoted me a price to repair the existing opener or replace it. I chose the repair.The repair took less time than estimated, so the charge was less than the quote. He also showed me how to lubricate the door and explained the importance of that. I was quite pleased with Joe Wilde, again!

Called for a minor repair and a quote for a full door replacement. Tech was able to add support to the door so that I have a couple of years before needing to replace the door. This was greatly appreciated because I have money invested in a larger home repair project right now. When I am ready to do the door, they will get the call. Mike came out today take a look at our garage door, it would not open. It looks like our 82-year-old garage shifted a bit in the wind storms we’ve had these past few weeks which changed the alignment of our door. Michael was able to diagnose that and make the needed changes so that our garage door was able to open and close with ease. Spring broke on our door - they were very polite when I called and were able to get a technician out first thing the next morning. The tech was very professional and not only fixed the door, but upgraded to a better, longer lasting spring and also showed me a couple of things about the door that the original installer neglected to do 7 years ago. I couldnt open my garage door. Serviceman replaces springs leveled the door, it is a larger than most doors.. When he was finished he showed me the door and demonstration it opening and closing and things to watch out for, it for some reason I have a hard time opening...He was a very courteous, informative and made sure I understood. Our garage door had stopped closing - the safety sensors were blinking. I called Joe Wilde company, and they were able to come out within two days. The repairman showed up exactly when promised, was done in an hour, and the total bill was only $150 for replacing both sensors, which were ~30 years old. While here, he also lubricated the various parts, and explained his work throughout. Excellent service and fair price; will use them again.

I am writing to review job number 210226. These folks at Wilde really understand what customer service is. From the minute I walked in, I felt this was the the right place. And their prices are reasonable. The techs who came to install the garage door and replace one damaged (in shipment) panel were awesome! They included me in every step so I felt comfortable with the process. I would HIGHLY recommend them. A very positive experience.

So heres what happened... Its winter in Wisconsin. Mid January so temps are freezing. For some reason, the bracket that attaches our garage lift to the actual door decides now is a good time to rip away from the door! We needed it fixed pronto. We called, and they sent a guy the next morning!!! Who does that??? We were expecting a week turn around or at least a few days. He fixed it on the spot within an hour. And as if that wasnt enough, the guy was very nice, very professional and clearly knew what he was doing. After the fix, he made sure we test it together and that I was completely satisfied. And he even threw in some helpful tips! I give him an A+ or 5-stars. It was a small job but that says a lot. Ill now trust them for my bigger jobs! Id give 6 stars if I could.

I am assuming my experience depends a lot on which tech I get. I needed a door adjusted that was not working correctly, I had tried a DIY first. I got same day service, he called when he was on his way, and was a bit early. He did a fine job and the door works great. I previously had someone else look at it from a different company, he was there to replace an opener on a different door, and he could not get it and gave up. He just couldnt figure it out. I am very satisfied.

One of the cables on my garage door broke and it was impossible to open the door. I called the Joe Wilde Company and spoke to a very knowledgeable customer service person who understood my situation and scheduled a service call later that day. Within the timeslot given me the repair man arrived and quickly analyzed the problem. He replaced both cables and gave me advice on doing light maintenance on the cables to keep them lubricated. When the torsion spring on my garage door unexpectedly broke yesterday, on a cold day in January, I called Joe Wilde and received a prompt, professional repair at a reasonable cost within 24 hours. In the last 40 years, Joe Wilde has installed three garage door openers for me at three different residences, including one installation requiring a custom solution for a garage with a low ceiling. I have come to expect outstanding service at a reasonable price.

You know, Im pretty good at home repairs but my garage door key pad wouldnt open and my efforts at replacement didnt work. I just needed help. It was a tiny little job but I was stuck.
