I was determined to use a local appliance store for the purchase of a refrigerator. I selected Tidewater and Appliance. VERY, VERY PLEASED with the experience. Communications were quick and substantive. Discussing our needs with the sales team identified a refrigerator that fit our needs. Payment on line was very easy. Delivery was superb. The guys got here in the expected time window, they worked quickly and efficiently to remove the old refrigerator and install the new one. Not a nick, dent or scratch. The new refrigerator exceeded expectations. Across the board an excellent transaction!

Just got a new Speed Queen Dryer delivered. I will never again buy from a box store. I called and got a wonderful person who ordered the dryer right over the phone. I just looked it up on the internet while talking to her. The delivery was in a reasonable amount of time, I still had my old dryer so I was not in a rush. My delivery guy was fantastic. He was neat and clean. No messes in my house. He installed it was very knowledgable and friendly. Within 10 minutes I had my new dryer on and it dried my first load of clothes in record time. Thank you so much.

I really appreciate how quickly the parts came in, especially since appliances break at the most inconvenient times. Not only was it the same price as Amazon, but they came in the very next day and I was able to fix my dryer before I needed to run another load.

If you are looking for a local business that believes in customer servicethen look no further than Dana at Tidewater Appliance. I had an issue with my refrigerators ice maker not working, and although it was out of warranty, Dana was able to have it replaced. You wont find that kind of customer service at the big-box stores. Shop at Tidewater Appliances and you wont be disappointed. Truly a five star business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have purchased filters for my refrigerator from here. They had next day. I then called them to find someone to repair my Frigidaire Dryer. They not only gave me the name of an extremely good service but also checked to see if the part was available. Another 5 stars but should be 10.

Agree with comment by another reviewer about supporting this local business. They had exactly what I wanted at a great price including delivery within 48 hours and removal of my old appliance. Also made arrangements with my gas company! No need for the big box guys when you can get outstanding personal service at Tidewater.

I find there floor plan to be beautiful and the owner very pleasant to deal with. Local Samsung, GE, Hotpoint, Bosch and many more brands. People lets avoid the box store and support our community, you may be surprised that this can even save you money!

Charges me 3x the price for a 20$ heating element - came out to 64.00- ended up not needing the part and they flat out refused to take it back. They are scammers, if you need parts for your washer or dryer go to amazon and avoid these scam artists like the plague. They will rip you off.
