Publix has an amazing bakery and an awesome deli too. Beautiful seafood and produce with good variety. Actually all their sections are unique and amazing. Their customer service is always great. Ive been to both the New Bern and Jacksonville stores and I love them both. Prices are a little higher but its worth the experience.

This by far the best grocery store in New Bern! Their deli department, bakery department, and catering department is AMAZING! You can get everything you need at this store! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the above three areas!! Perfect everytime and THE WORKERS ARE AMAZING AND FRIENDLY!!! They are very attentive and are willing to help in any way they can!! Do not even try the other stores you will be wasting your time! Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication!!!

I love the overall experience and the friendlyness but the bagging is not the best. Cant tell you how many times I had to call and complain about it. Even had them putting meat products with produce. The worst one being eggs and bananas. Bruised all of my bananas.

Very clean and friendly staff always. The food items are well stocked. If you sign up for there Publix Club. On your Birthday they give you free ice cream or yogurt 1/2 gallon. Or two Premium Jumbo Cupcakes from the Bakery. The cupcakes 🧁 are Red Velvet with cream cheese and chocolate chip sprinkles. I would urge everyone to sign up for the Publix Club. Download their app.

Publix is a pretty great grocery store. The prices are about average compared to other grocery stores, but their sale items are the best deal around. Personally, its not about the prices. The customer service is out of this world. The employees are friendly and helpful. And even if you visit is less than stellar, there are managers who really want you to go home feeling like your shopping trip was well spent at Publix. True to their tagline: Shopping is a Pleasure.

We ordered a cake for our new babys arrival. The cake we chose from the book was a basic baby shower cake, but what we received was absolutely beautiful. We didnt even want to cut it because it was just perfect. Whoever decorated our cake THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

As always my app didnt work again! Last time I was in the store customer service helped me out supposedly fixed app still does not work which leads to NO discounts on items after checking out. Always gets fixed by customer service but really fed up wasting my time. Quick trips to Publix end up being a hour or more! Really wish my app worked. So now I will shop elsewhere. So fed up with Publix.

Publix is my absolute favourite grocery store and pharmacy, especially the pharmacy. Im chronically ill and require a lot of medication and advice on otc medicine. Their pharmacists are very helpful and knowledgeable. The store itself is awesome as well. Has all I need in a clean, fresh environment. Costs a little more than Wal-Mart, but a little less than Harris Teeter. The staff is friendly as well. No complaints.

The seafood counter was completely closed down and cleaned at 8:30 after I drove all the way out here for fresh seafood. Then I had to do self check out and it took me about 10 minutes to do that because I don’t work for Publix and I’m not trained properly. Do better. Felt like I was at Walmart..

What a pleasure to go here! It is so clean and the variety of items is incredible. The service is top rate, too: we asked an employee where an item was located and he walked us all the way to the other end of the store to show us where it was. Outstanding!

Smaller store than the local Harris Teeter, but has everything we need. The store and pharmacy staff are so friendly. They always greet you as you pass in the store and offer help if you look like you are searching for an item. Prices seem average for a grocery chain.

The employees are always helpful and polite. The shelves are freshly stocked and the bogo deals are amazing.

The produce section is beautiful. It has a vegan section with vivolife cheeses, tofu and field roast. The frozen section has a good selection of vegan options morning star, good earth, gardien, and impossible burgers.

I personally like it better than Harris Tetters. Publix has more items to choose from.

This store is very over priced. The Food Lion and the Harris Teater are better priced and HT has more choices. Publix do not carry Entimenns bakery products. The on-site baked products are ok, but not great.

Had trouble finding Bobs Red Mill Bulgur. Red .Ill products were in4 different areas of the store. Workers were very helpful.

Not a good day at Publix. Went to the deli to see if they had mojo pork, the nice lady said sorry, we dont have any, I took a quick look and lo and behold, there was a full platter of mojo pork (a small hiccup I know). Next I needed some shallots but had to sort thru about 10 rotten ones to find 2 worth buying. Third strike came at the fresh seafood counter, I asked the attendant what was fresh (on a Sunday afternoon). He said its all very fresh! So I asked for a large filet of salmon. I brought it home and unwrapped it immediately - OMFG! What an odor! This fish shoud have been thrown out last week! It was rotten beyond any doubt. Cats wouldnt eat this mierda!2 stars only because the mojo pork was tasty. I loved Publix in South Florida but in North Carolina they leave a lot to be desired.So, its a week later, my wife bought what she thought were four large lamb chops for dinner tonight as we are having a couple over for dinner, heres the pic, guess which one was hiding under the label? This is simply fraudulent!

I absolutely love Publix. By far the most welcoming grocery store in the area. Staff is always friendly. The store is always clean and stocked. & It’s the only place I know that serves Liverwurst at the deli. At times prices are higher, but it balances out with the fantastic deals and incredible service.

Bought a jar of Smuckers Hot fudge, came home and opened it the inside was covered in white mold. So gross!
