I bought my boat from Texas Malibu South about a year and a half ago. I love the boat, but Im writing this review because Im so happy with the way the staff has taken care of me after the purchase. Ryan, my salesman and Sam in service are easy to contact and quick to respond. Ive had a couple of minor issues that have both been resolved quickly and completely. More importantly, these guys go out of their way to make sure I am not inconvenienced. Couldnt be happier. Thank you guys.

Sam and the service team at Texas Malibu South are top notch! We experienced an unexpected issue with our boat while on Canyon Lake in which Sam helped me troubleshoot over the phone and once we diagnosed the issue he went above and beyond to help us with a fix, saving our vacation. We recently purchased our 2nd boat from Texas Malibu - South and cant say enough positive things about everyone there. Mike Bohan, the sales manager is an advocate for the customer, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. No high pressure sales tactics, and will put you into the right boat for your needs, at a fair price.Being new to boating on my first purchase, he walked me through EVERYTHING, answering all of my ridiculous questions without making me feel like I was being a bother (although, I certainly know some of my questions were not the most intelligent!). Since I didnt know how much my family was actually going to use the boat, he advised me to browse their used inventory and avoid the depreciation hit if it turned out we werent going to use it much. I found a 2013 247 LSV, and Mike walked us through the pros and cons of owning such a large boat. Ultimately we decided to purchase it, and were very happy with it for the year we used it. Having determined exactly what we like to do on the water in that year (alternate between surfing and anchoring up in coves mostly) we decided to get something new that created a better surf wake and was more maneuverable. I was a bit nervous having only had the boat for a year...thinking I was going to be gouged on the trade-in, but was pleasantly surprised when I received the offer.On the second purchase Mike was awesome in helping me navigate the differences between each of the new models. He encouraged me to do demos and let the family and kids see / feel the difference. Ultimately, we settled on a 2017 22 VLX, which we absolutely love.Another thing to mention is how accommodating he and the staff are to my family. Each time we visited prior to, and now since our purchase, Mike always makes it a point to come and say hello to my children (always calling them by name) and my wife and I. When he isnt there, another member of his team, Courage Criddle, does the same. When we stop by, Mike or Courage usually have something new and cool to show the kids...so they always have fun when we go there.Great experiences during the sales process are somewhat expected, but after the sale is when you usually see the underbelly of a business. In the case of Texas Malibu - South, the post-sales experience and service department is Top Notch! Ive done all of my maintenance with Sam and Scuba, and I refuse to take my boat anywhere else. Their prices are very reasonable and they do phenomenal work. They will steer you away from performing unnecessary work thats not value add. Since I moved to Austin, I sometimes have them come to me to do the work, and its the same results whether I bring my boat there, or they come to me...impeccable. Sam always follows up when you need something from him, and its a pleasure knowing my boat is in good hands...and comforting knowing I wont be stranded out on the water because of a botched service call!If you are ever in need of a new or used boat, visit Texas Malibu - South and go see Mike and Courage. I traveled 7 hours to buy a 2017 Axis A22 and trade my 2002 Malibu XTi. Texas Malibus integrity with the entire deal was based on me putting my faith in them. I can say this without a doubt, I am now a lifelong customer of Texas Malibu and I am forever grateful of the friendships I have established. I just purchased a new Axis T22 from Mike Bohan. Simply put, the guy is the best there is. This is the 2nd boat I have purchased from a Mike in the last 10 years-each time was amazing! He really cares about his customers! If you need something done by the Service Department, Sam will take good care of you as well! Great boats, Great People! Thanks guys!!

I am going to say thank you to Mike and Sam for finally figuring out what is wrong with my 2017 Axis and providing me with a loaner boat during this time. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to putting the customer first guys!I am giving 4 stars because I still have not heard back from Rob the owner. He committed to getting back to me in one week with a solution and I have not heard a word from him, but Mike and Sam came through.

Still have not pulled the trigger on the new boat but Mike and his team are something special. Even if they sold a b boat brand WHICH THEY DONT! I would still consider them just for their customer service and attentiveness! I love this dealer and so much more here with the ski ranch, skate park, etc. Axis A24 is one hell of a ride!

Fantastic customer service!!! Alex was great to work with. Very professional and helpful. She promptly returned calls and emails. She took the time to educate us on every boat we considered. I cant recommend Alex and the staff at Texas Malibu highly enough.

Here we go again. 2nd year in a row that we have had nothing but trouble from our boat that we bought at Texas Malibu New Braunfels. Has been in the shop 3 times already just in the last 2 months. They have sent it back to me now 2 times and told be it was fixed and yet it still continues to throw an engine code. Sure wish the owner would step up and make this right. No follow up and no solutions. Cannot legitimately recommend this business based on the values of customer service that have been demonstrated. Tried to be positive and recognize these guys last year and the end of the season because it seemed as though they figured it out, but that is now not the case. I would not recommend you to buy an Axis boat. Has been the most disappointing purchase of my 46 year life. My wife and kids are besides themselves. Friends cannot simply believe it! CRAZY!
