What a romantic place! They have so many healthy, colorful plants, and there are some friendly kitties running around, offering advice. My idea of a perfect morning would be to go out for coffee, then browse this lovely nursery afterward. It was such a nice surprise, I can tell someone has put in a lot of hard work here. Ill be back again soon!

Awesome place with a friendly and helpful staff. Owner hands on and very knowledgeable. A hidden gem tucked back off the highway. So glad I found this place.

Very nice place and the plants look a lot healthier there than those at the big box stores. Pretty good selection. Only drawback of the place seems to be that a lot of things werent priced. What we did see priced was very reasonable and we will likely go back once we know what we need. Staff was very friendly including the resident cat.

I concur, the owner of this establishment does lack customer service skills. I simply wanted to talk to her about dying plants that I always seem to buy from her. She was so smirch and condescending. I found our conversation of no use and going now where, as I walked away she said, Guess I willnt be seeing you here anymore. No you will not. Some people have bad days, yes, but this women has real attitude. Your best to stay away.

This place is pretty awesome! They have tons of Christmas decor. Prices are reasonable. I will definitely go back before Christmas!

Shopped at their Christmas store in 2019 and last summer I bought 3 hibiscus which were supposed to be hardy (2 single and 1 double). After the hard freeze we had the 2 single hibiscus came back and are doing beautifully but not the double. I contacted them and got a nasty reply. Evidently they dont need my business.

You have to make sure you add this to your holiday must do list. The best holiday house Ive ever been to. The selection is incredible. Youll want to keep coming back.I spent half my time watching the little kitties play and Im not even a cat lover. Its a great place to bring the family.Went at night and it was so beautiful with all the lights. My next visit will be during the day.

This is my favorite go to! Christmas will never be the same. The square footage of this place offers the most variety for Christmas trees, decorations, lights and garland. Luckily we live fairly close because I go back once a week to revisit the items I was thinking about. The only drawback to Holiday Haus is that there is so much to choose from, its hard to decide which direction you want to go design wise. Theres so much good stuff. So if you are adding to a collection, getting gifts, or replacing decorations, this is the most amazing place to go. Support local small business and go check out Holiday Haus.

Weve given this place 3 tries, but the owner severely lacks customer service.When heading back for an itemized receipt, we were greeted with a, Now, what is it?Gladly wont be stopping by anymore and returning those plants asap.

We stopped in looking for landscaping items at Hill Country Gardens and ended up in Christmas shopping Heaven! What an amazing selection of Christmas decor. We are sharing with friends and will be back!

If you love Christmas decorations then this place is a must see. It’s like the Disney World of Christmas decorations. So many beautiful trees and ideas for decorating. The light tunnel to the store is gorgeous too, it’s like driving into a Hallmark Movie. The owner Andrea is super helpful and so kind. I can’t imagine a better Christmas store!

I dont understand the negative reviews. My wife and I have been going there at least five years and never had a problem. Yes, its a sprawling place without dozens of employees and it is being constantly improved and expanded, but I have always been approached with kindness and a professional attitude. And left with what I came for.

I recently moved back from Germany where I spent 9 Christmases. Traditionally, I took my kids to buy hand crafted tree ornaments each year. After returning from Germany in 2019, we stumbled on this store and were very delighted to find a place to continue our tradition.

I went in looking for an air plant to complete a Christmas present on Christmas Eve. To my surprise, Andrea was rude and caustic because I dared ask about them. She easily could have said they dont carry them, but instead, she was unbelievably rude. When I mentioned how it was unfortunate that I was a neighbor of the establishment, she yelled that she didnt care. I was heading out because of her attitude and paused to ask her name. She asked for mine and I provided it. She continued to be rude and then came at me from behind the counter. No one else was in the store, but to come after a customer because Im asking about a plant? Maybe save on your light bill and invest in some customer service training. I was trying to support a local business close to me. I now know why her neighbors say such awful things about this business and drive a few miles into town for their floral and fauna needs. What a sad an unnecessary experience for Christmas.

Came upon this garden oasis a few days ago and went back today. Incredible assortment of Christmas decor and ornaments, and all reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and browse through the shop. Plan on spending some time there, though... lots to see!

LOVE this place! Ive been shopping other local places for 8 years and just got tired of putting the same stuff in all my planters. Amazing variety of uncommon plants but still the availability of the common ones if you so choose. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and willing to help unlike any other place I have ever purchase from. I have found my new go-to place. So worth going out of the way for.

Hill Country Gardens is our go-to for healthy, native plants and knowledgeable staff. My husband and I have shopped there for years, and have never been disappointed. As a bonus, the feline entertainment is always a treat.

Yikes! Everything looks run down and disheveled. Plants are scraggly and more expensive than competitors in town. Liked all the kitties on the property, that was a plus.

For the constantly addicted gardener, Hill Country Gardens is the bomb! Wonderful natives & plants there Ive never seen before & Ive been gardening for 50 years. They have soil conditioner compost that is top notch for heavy clay soils if you do not have enough homemade compost for your needs. Very helpful people and, as mentioned before, great kitty tour guides! Open in fall & winter when other places may be cutting back. They understand this is the best season for gardening in Central Texas + they have a HUGE Christmas Shop. Beautiful pots, other garden decor. This is my go-to nursery in New Braunfels!

Amazing selection of Christmas ornaments and decorations. A bit pricey and dont expect sales since they will be open for Christmas year round. Be prepared for cats to escort you through the store. I cant wait to see what their other holiday offerings will be.

Really enjoyed our visit to this store and had a delightful conversation with the owner. The Christmas store here is laid out in a fashion that is not confusing and is coordinated well to eliminate overwhelm. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Once we get some measurements we will be back to buy some shrubs from her.This is a one stop shop for anything Christmas and anything plants. So glad we stopped by.

Then tried to sell me fertilizer and when I told I already tried that she said, its really early to fertilize. WT?????? Terrible, will not be going back.
