Nice little ice cream shop. Enjoyed the salted caramel.

The ice cream is really good. They didnt have our favorite flavors, this time around. We hope they bring them back. edited: I couldnt reply to your reply. The flavor was coffee Oreo and please bring back affogatos.

This is a premium ice cream shop with multiple locations in the New Braunfels/San Marcos area. A wide variety of unique flavors are available and the texture and mouth-feel is outstanding. Across two visits we were able to try Big Red (famous soda here in TX), Banana Pudding, Snickerdoodle, Iced Animal Cookie, Belgian Chocolate, and Dark Chocolate Orange. Stop into Rheas and satisfy that ice cream need! You wont be disappointed.

Great variety of unique flavors. We found this place by accident, but always come back. Freshly made small batch ice cream, and the waffle cones are fresh and delicious as well.

My family from out of town & I stopped by the Gruene location. It was all of our first times going to Rheas. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the Goat Cheese and Raspberry Jam ice cream flavor. Its perfect! Not tart, not sweet, not overpowering; just the perfect blend of flavors that meshed well. It tasted like a very light cheesecake but without that tartness. It was so good we went back two days later. I got the same thing but this time I also got Banana Pudding ice cream. Oh my stars!! When I tell you this was like having frozen pudding in a cone!!This is now my favorite place to go for ice cream...I dont care if I live 20 minutes away thats where Im going!!

Great place, especially after an jalapeño bacon burger from tin top(the also great Burger place under the same roof). And it is uncanny how ALL the flavors taste great and exactly how it’s labeled

Great selection of ice cream - I tried the vegan mint chocolate chip and it was very satisfying! It’s not too often you see vegan ice cream on a menu. Thanks for catering to everyone! I’ll come back for the vegan burger next time. ;)

Small batch ice cream is the best. They have unique flavors; our family favorites are the big red, circus animal, and raspberry and goat cheese. Now that Tin Top is open, you can have a meal and dessert!

Excellent ice cream at a fun little place near Landa Park and not far from downtown New Braunfels. They have very exotic flavors like Goat Cheese Raspberry Jam and Circus Animal Crackers, all of which you can try beforehand and that are delicious. The shop itself is on the smaller side and shares space with another restaurant, but the shared space is really nice and even has an area to sit and look out large windows which would be great for working. Definitely recommend the ice cream flights!

Excellent! The ice cream is delicious and the place is very cute. I had the banana pudding ice cream, so yummy. It might be nice to have the flavors listed on the wall so that people can read them while they are waiting. It is a very tight space where you are ordering and you can see the flavors until it is your turn to order. Overall, fantastic we will return!

Rheas is always great! The customer service is top notch and they always have a couple vegan options for my wife. I have yet to try something that wasnt amazing at Rheas although when I got the cookie sandwich with 2 HUGE fresh warm cookies and a large scoop of ice cream in between I did regret it...thats a meal in itself! It was delicious and I ate the whole thing after having a burger at Tin Top so needless to say I was stuffed. If you want the best cookie sandwich of your life go hungry or plan to share cause they are enormous! Love Rheas!

Cute and cozy ice cream place! Its a joint building with Tin Tip burgers and shares indoor and outdoor seating. I love the simpler times atmosphere and outdoor kids play area! Great spot.

Great quick, quaint stop for some awesome specialty ice cream. All made in house as well as their waffle cones. I opted for a banana pudding smoothie and was not let down in flavor. My son got a goat cheese and raspberry ice cream, it was a knock out if you are a fan of cheese. Added a pleasant saltiness to the sweet raspberries. My coffee addict daughter got an Oreo and Coffee ice cream in one of their crispy waffle cones. My only complaint is the consistency of the ice cream. It does seem to melt rather quickly.

Really incredible flavors you just can’t expect. Our new finds are avocado coconut, goat cheese raspberry jam and banana pudding.Friendly. Delicious. Coffee and espresso drinks with ice cream mixes. This place is really awesome. Our server was very sweet and helpful. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely delightful flavors, friendly staff. A little pricey, but 100% worthwhile. Get the animal cracker cookie flavor or the banana puddin. You wont be disappointed.

Quaint little shop run by a nice young woman with plenty of flavors and options. Has coffee, ice cream, and a variety of ways you can get all sorts of cafe-like foods made. Not too cheap, not too expensive, good for a relaxing night. Highly recommended👍

The playground for the kids is great! My 6 year old son ❤d it! My older kids enjoyed the coffee oreo flavor and me? I had a scoop of smores. In addition to the various array of ice cream flavors, including many vegan offers, they also serve espresso with ice cream, milkshakes and ice cream cookies! My 15 year old daughter lookef around and said, Mom this would be a cool place to hangout with burgers and other food items served next door. I highly recommend coming in for a scoop or two. The banana pudding ice cream on a homemade waffle cone was absolutely delicious! The animal cracker ice cream was tasty too! Plus an awesome historical house to sit and enjoy it in the air conditioning! Great!

Our first visit since their expansion and serving burgers...they were wonderful! I loved the bacon, swiss, mushroom burger...so much flavor...finished with their goat milk raspberry and salted caramel cream ice cream...vundebar! Service was quick and friendly...we will be back!

This was our first time at the New Braunfels location. They had some interesting flavors. The best is the chocolate milkshake and the circus cookie. Love them. Will be back.

I bought a great tasting milkshake here, but halfway through it I found the ladys black hair swimming around in it and I threw the rest away.

What a blast from the gourmet ice cream past! We love the avocado coconut ice cream, the big red, and the strawberry basil... its fun, funky and incredibly tasty!

SO flipping delicious! Had a hard time deciding but landed on the Avacado Coconut and loved every bite. But the Nutella Strawberry and the Goat Cheese and Raspberries were very close seconds. Cant wait to go back.

Loved this place! Such a cute, friendly little shop. We were in town since hurricane harvey hit rockport. Everyone there was extremely friendly and welcoming, they treated us like friends instead of an average customer. We will definitely visit everytime were in town.
