Id give more but the food is pretty much a bust. But I want to give kudos to the fuel desk. The womens restroom is awesome. Not sure who decorated but THANK YOU. It was a very pleasant surprise.

My first visit to this place coming from a long hard work day then restaurants closed early asking why? But no body turn to answer! Moving to the cool table to find no salad or another good food so next hot table and guess? The hot dog and partners no present at that time! So no more choice just grab a cup fill with sparkling colored water and back to the road… I’m not a complain person but writing this on the name of many others drivers with the same criteria! Hoping someone can read and help to fix the issues! Thank you!

There is a lot of truck parking here, yes there is alot of reserved spaces but like me you probably need the exercise so stop crying your doctor says its good for you, place was clean and service was good, ate what I could identify at the country pride buffet usually not my go to so hopefully I parked my truck close enough to get to the restroom, order off the menu a may or may not be safer, my server was attentive and did a good job overall, cant blame her for the buffet🤮

I usually dont to tough care to do reviews but I just to let you guys know the customer service here is just plain old outstanding Chelsea goes above and beyond just to make a truckers life just that much easier. I lost my ta card and she went out of her way to order me a new and gave me a free shower and what was crazy it had been one of those days 🙃 but her actions made my day soooooooo much better!!!!! Your awesome Chelsea keep being you!!!!!

The staff was so nice and friendly. Offers showers, laundry, a drivers lounge, and ample amount of parking. Shower was clean and so were the restrooms. Loved the deli at the fuel desk. My guy loved the sausage on the stick so much he had two. lol

Drivers Be Aware!! On 7/1/19, This is what I found at my windshield about 15 minutes after turning my truck off, and putting my windows down 1/2 way. I couldnt sleep & watched this monster move to my drivers side mirror, then over to the passenger side door up the visor around the door over the spot mirror above the door. If I was asleep it wouldve been inside my truck!! Use caution if you park on the west side of the lot along the tree row!! I notified a manager of the TA but we all know they wont do anything! They will have to get corporate approval and we know they dont care what truck drivers think or have to say!! Im sure theyll delete this, I hope this gets out. Good location, easily found truck parking around 7pm, clean restrooms, good coffee and a variety of snacks, they sell some some alcoholic beverages as well.The Country Pride in there had a very stale dried out salad bar with no options and the tables were dirty.

I would love to park here often. But DOT being on private property doing Inspections put a sour taste in my mouth.😐

Won’t be stopping here for truck service anymore. First time I waited over 4 hours just to be told that the technician went home and they couldn’t help me. The next two time I was told there won’t be a technician in until the next shift ( MAYBE). Now today same old story no technician but there should be one on the next shift. It 1 and I’m not waiting for 3 hours on a maybe then how ever long it would take for them to get me in. Unless it can’t wait I do 90% off my business with TA. I just won’t be wasting my time at the New Braunfels location anymore.

I had forgotten they had a Country Pride at this one! I thought it was all fast food. I love breakfast here when I have time, and they have my favorite! Corned beef hash, eggs, and grits! Nom!

Stopped to get a quick bite at Popeyes in the TA and was told they were closed.. at 9 pm... even though they are supposed to be open till 10. Cashier in store said she didnt know why they were telling people they were closed...

The restaurant is always clean, looks nice and the Assistant General Manager Antonio Rivera is very approachable and interactive with the customers. Great place with great food!

For Lunch or dinners good stop and park here.

Fuel island had hot food sitting in display at 520am and they would not serve it until 6am. Who wants food thats been sitting for an hour. Truck driving is a 24hour job its crazy you cant get food until 6am. If food is on display you should be able to order it.

They have s big truck parking lot. Have a lot of food to choose from. Not a bad truck stop. Subway, PopEyes, and Country Pride .

We have been here several times,but only to the fuel island which has a good deli & great employees..Though there are several discouraging reviews,this time we went in to the restaurant where we were greeted by our server Shelly who is a stellar person..Its friday & Seafood night There was Salmon, muscles,shrimp, crab cakes, & steak cooked perfectly. .the salad bar was fresh & the lady working on it wore gloves.. The bathrooms were clean, the restaurant was clean & the employees on December 1st all seemed to care that the customers had a good experience, and also I enjoyed the festive decorations.. Thank you!

The disabled truck parking to the drink case in the main store is over a city block. So why would you not carry any diet drinks that are not carbonated inside the fuel lane store? When I asked I was told theyre in the main store. Sorry limited space in our coolers. Well, it is so limited there are 10+ choices for sodas, 8+ for tea, 6+ for water, and 10+for energy drinks..... that isnt limited space. That is piss poor planning. Disabled drivers have enough issues out here without TA thinking they can walk a city block to get the things they need like a propel or sugar free electro light drink to help replace what our meds take out of us.

My response was simply I Dont Live Here, Ive Been Here 3Days he immediately responded Ive Been Patient? Im a full time RVr and I dont recommend this place for RVrs. Its not kept as clean and maintained as their competition

The food here was great! My chicken tender meal was extraordinary... soft chicken, cooked to perfection, juicy and very tasty along with the bbq sauce! My son ordered the Avocado burger, and again, great! Service was also perfect even though it was busy, the server was great, amicable, patient, and fast! Tina, thank you for the great service! Extra bonus...fenced in dog park! Courtesy bags at the cashier. A little small but perfect spot for our dog to stretch and sniff! Women’s bathroom was closed with a sign directing us to us the showers which were really clean and made it easy to use as a family bathroom.

Dont ever have to have a truck repair done here. They take breaks every 15 minutes. The guy here beside me has been here almost 4 hours to get 2 tires put on. They work for 10 minutes then sit around and talk for 30 minutes. Ive been here now for 18 hours. Ive seen customer after customer come in and they just standing around. 5 bays and only using 2. Better have a lot of time if you stop here.

The only reason I would give this place a one-star is because the servers are very polite and friendly. The Cooks however should be working at a fast-food. For now on I will only eat off the buffet. Never order from the menu ask for something cooked medium and you get charbroiled every time.

Had here 34 hours brake. Clean showers. Good pressure. Huge parking lot. Clean and organized store. Good food options. Especially between fuel island. Really good choice of home cooked food. You should try stuffed pepper. Will definitely come back for more. 👍👍👍 It’s one of the best TA I’ve been since start driving.

Nice clean truck stop. Bad thing is they charge 14 dollars to shower. Thats alot for a shower. Especially when youre homeless and need a shower

No fitness center 😞 but I was surprised that as big as their truck parking lot is, they keep it clean. Good job... I found a way to get some cardio in by walking around their Giant parking lot. I was also surprised that they allow Dropped trailers at the furthest corner of the parking lot back row.

Not great, not horrible. Trucks parking lot reeks of piss though. Cashiers are friendly enough and showers were clean even though they need to be updated badly. Not sure if they are ever going to reopen the restaurant.

Waitress last night that was working wasnt too friendly and didnt stay on top of her job. I waited five minutes and I had to say something before I even got any help. Then I had to ask for my check. Then I had to go up to the front so I can pay because the cashier is flirting with other gentleman that was working on duty. As soon as they saw me they started to work and keep busy selective professional adequate. The food was greasy. And my bread was over overly butter

A terrible spot for a food stop particularly in the morning. Their full restaurant is closed indefinitely and their Subway doesnt even open until 8 a.m.Were truckers! Not cushy 9-5ers! TA/Petro has lost sight of who their customers are, even before these unprecedented times.

First time here, probably wont be my last. The service at the restaurant was awesome. The food was really good. The customer service at the store was also very good. The cashiers were friendly and helpful.

Easy access from I35. Decent location for getting fuel and getting out without headache. The satellite fueling area has some of the best food offered from some of the best people.

The inside Restaurant was Amazing. The reason for the 1 star (0 stars if could) is the washing machine/dry was $3.00 each and when done drying the clothes after 45 minutes it was still the same wetness. I tried again and another 45 minutes later got the same results. This time I told the manager it might just be the top right side and she even felt the clothes and agreed they were still wet. She then said this load is fully stuffed is why am only refunding one load which you can use to start different machine. The load was not full and in fact I took a picture showing the load was not even half full. She stole $3.00 from me and I requested corporates phone number to find out there closed at 5pm.

It is a great place to stop when traveling. The staff was friendly. We were greeted when we went in. The bathroom was very clean . The store has cinnabuns . They were making them fresh.

Good location and everything you could need at a truck stop. Every bottled drink you could think of and a lot of road trip snacks. They have several fuel pumps and a fast food restaurant inside. It is loaded with everything an over the road driver would need as well like parking, showers, and a truck mechanic shop.

Very nice staff. Willing to help in any way they can. Restrooms need checked and cleaned a little more often. But for the most part, they are clean and usable. Stop in at the TA Travel Center, they have more than likely, got all of what ya need, and Im almost sure, you will find something extra ya may want. KEEP UP THE GOOD SERVICE YALL!

Its ok. Appears to be an older facility in need of an update. Apparently central a/c does not work (really in the heart of Texas!?) since there are portable air coolers throughout the building. Ladies restroom was out of service, so had to use shower facility which was great, but no paper towels to dry your hands. Did they want us using there clean towels?Breakfast in the restaurant was good and we had excellent service.

Well the food in the restaurant was not very good and we waited on the staff to clean the tables but that was too much so we cleaned it our self. Seemed that no one wanted to work and when they did bring the food we did not see them again until the bill came.Being a truck driver nobody want to give good service, very few have good food, they over cook everything, meats, vegetables, eggs... tired of crappie food with crappie service. And should not have to pay for parking.... period. Reserve a spot for late night parking ok but to pay is darn outright stealing.

Go in for great prices on gas, come out with everything else. Love it

One of the best places. Employees and food great! All areas nice and clean when I was there only one TA I ever been in that need a clean crew and I believe this is not the one. I could be wrong because I have been in a lot of TA centers. Parking is open and easy which is great for those times my dot clock is getting low and I need to pull over and off the road. I love the crew and sexy gorgeous women that work there always helpful never dumb.

Unfortunately the management has decided to ruin another. The buffet is gone and the food in the restaurant now is well below average. Good place to fuel or park but order pizza and dont waste your time or money.

This is a very clean truck stop, that offers showers for their drivers. They offer souvenirs, and restaurant food. I like it, and have been there on a number of occasions. I thought the staff was nice and courteous. I was very surprised how clean the place wqs given the fact that its a truck stop mainly.

Note on door says masks must be worn. Alot of customers and some employees are not even wearing them. Customers should be turned away and employees should be fired. Its all about the almighty dollar. Clueless

Very poor service with the shop told them Id never use them again and their mechanic told me good he didnt need my business and then said he hated working here. Daniel is his name. I dont recomend this place to anybody for any mechanic work. Is it me or is T/A really going down hill.

Smells like a Jack Strap. But overall the best truck stop with wide parking lot in the area. Restrooms clean. It has Popeyes and Country Store Restaurant inside. Fuel lanes limited.

One of the better TA travel stops Ive been in.Very large parking lot, not as many pay to park spots as most TAs .Restaurant was really good, had supper last night and breakfast today, both meals were awesome.Clean place, friendly people.Ill be back.

For a highway gas station the folks here are amazingly friendly and consistent. Have been stopping at this place for over a decade. Gas prices are always beyond competitive and they serve Truckers well. Facilities are always clean. Nice down home diner and a couple of fast food places.

The bathroom was a mess. The employee was on the phone the entire time, she was very polite though. The food in the hot section was clearly pretty old, the bread on everything was very crunchy.

I drive I-35 a lot, between Austin and San Antonio. I almost always stop here. They usually have good fuel prices (like .03-.07 less than in Austin). Theres a Subway, Popeyes, and a sit- down restaurant. Theres a huge variety of soft drinks, water, juice, and snacks. They also sell electronics and gift-type items. The bathrooms are usually clean (actually, they are much cleaner than most truck stops/gas stations along the highway) and well-stocked. They have showers, but I have never used them (so cant rate them on that). As a woman who occasionally travels alone, I have always felt relatively safe at this location. Overall, this is a good place for a quick stop to pick up food/snacks, get some fuel, or use the bathroom.

Monday Night Buffet is $14.99 + Tax whereas other T/As & Petros are discounted around $11!! This is nothing but pure price gouging !! Because of the location & lack of commercial truck parking!! I think Im gonna complain to Corporate office!! Two ⭐cuz albeit the food is pretty good for a Country Pride!!

I wouldnt recommend anyone for any type of work at workshop. You will find more best cheaper,helpful solutions and more professional team within 10 mile radius. Dont stuck there.workshop Run without manager/supervisor. No one help you.All techs/mechanics and front desk staff act like they are supervisors. They will trap you without quoting any estimate. One guy take your all info and told you put your truck in bay and other guy start working without any estimate and quote or customer approval.quote you double prices even they are in city radius. Very unprofessional atmosphere.

The country pride restaurant, food was good and the red-haired woman waitress did an excellent job keep it in place and being kind to the customers

This TA is definitely older and in need of a facelift but it gets the job done. I did not eat at either of the connected restaurants so I cant speak on their behalf, but I did come here in search of a new CB microphone for my radio and they had a few to choose from. The man behind the register was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure to get the one that I wanted. I am very pleased with my experience here and would not hesitate to recommend this place to a friend.

Just was a witness about how employees doing their work one whoman filled cap coffee folder rest of cap fall on the floor no problem she pick that portion for next time .my question who working in that company no respect for customers if they are pigs why we need stay on the same level.

OK, pay attention boyz and girls... I would give this Truck Stop TWO stars at best except for the Taco Shack across the street next to the truck wash. If you think Taco Bell is Mexican food, keep heading on down the highway. If you like MEXICAN food, stop here, park, loosen your britches and chow down!

Great Place its always good to be able to visit the TAs on my old route TA Effingham Illinois, TA Prescott Arkansas, and TA New Braunfels Texas. All good places, friendly faces great staff. When I had a dedicated route these were my homes away from home coming and going.

Showers are clean, some shower heads barely spray water, waitress in the restaurant was slower than molasses the male on night was fast, courteous, and very polite. The truck parking is ample but the lines need repainted cant see them in the back when it is dark and rainy. Clean and the dryers actually work good.

I was there for Truck Stop diesel. Easy on/off access. Friendly cashier, clean facility...

Had to have a rim and couple tires replaced. Great crew working there. From office yo techs.

Good location for a 10 hour break.. especially if you shutting down around 2 or 3 am.. plenty of parking..

This is a real truck stop, which means its a great place for cool gadgets you cant find anywhere else. I bought a cool bluetooth lava lamp speaker for my shop, and people love it and ask me about it all the time! Think Sky Mall kind of stuff... Great place to shop for random and unusual but very cool gifts for people who are hard to shop for.

Good place pretty big parking lot I use the mens room that was good and clean didnt have time to do my laundry or take a shower my boo main purpose was the mens room and the Popeyes the food there was great the mens room is clean and plenty of neat stuff on the shelves and why there seemed really friendly to definitely will make another stop when I get a chance

Last night I stopped at the truck stop over there to sleep for the night. Woke up to a big oil leak on my truck I went inside and ask the front cashier if I could get a diagnosis and how much it would be to fix it. Well they end up charging 200 and something dollars two point and tell me where it looks like the leak is coming from. Hell any obvious any little kid can look at it and tell where the leak looks like its coming from, what we wanted to know was where exactly was it coming from. They billed me for .8 of an hour. And spent about 9 minutes looking at the truck. I didnt get anything done. They provided no service. I dont know what it is exactly that this mobile repair service center does. But I know what they did to me if they charge me 200 and some odd dollars for doing absolutely nothing. As a truck driver I wouldnt recommend this place to any competent person that needs a correct diagnosis. Theres all these certification signs all over the building. Dont be fooled. Its a rip-off waiting to happen. Just trying to look out for fellow owner operators. We chose to just buy a bunch of oil to get it on back to the yard. And this company has the audacity to sell me refilled empty 1 gallon oil jugs there were already open with oil spill all down the side of them. Im not sure what kind of respectable business would do this. Im telling you right now if you think these people are going to look out after your truck dont be fooled. This place is like a monkey guarding the bananas. They must be used to ripping off the big carriers with company drivers who dont care. If I could go back I would refuse payment.

The truck stop was clean and well stocked, but I got food poisoning from the restaurant. The gravy almost took me out!!!

Very very old building. All coffee in truckers diesel island were empty. When telling the attendant immediately she told the busiest person in there to make coffee and did nothing to do something as simple as making coffee. Truly an unbelievable display of pure disrespect to us the customers.

The TA is a great place to stop when traveling on the road they have everything from A to Z including food drinks coffee restaurant motor oil excetera excetera

Ok place fuel was a bit pricy and they didnt have any fast food avail., at noon what the heck?

This ta is not a bad place but they have staff issues. Probably should have went to the restaurant instead of jacking with the Popeyes. Took every bit of 25 to 30 minutes to get an order of chicken tenders. Staff seem to like to argue among themselves and the person working the cash register had a complete lack of customer service plus it seemed like they were out of everything. Hopefully things will get better.

I had a repairs on the trailer done 1am in the morning, there was no waiting time at all. Mechanic Jake showed his professional skills, did the job done quick, and was very polite. 5 stars for mechanic. Keep up the good work.

I was surprised when we stopped here. We got food at the Subway and they didnt know how to use our coupon but they managed to work it out. Very nice people throughout and lots of snacks around. Not as big as Buckees but still nice with nice people. Well be moving not too far from there and plan to go there frequently.

Very very large truck parking area. Easy for me to get in and out of. Although they were out of fuel because of the hurricane passing through it was still a pleasant stop on my way to Laredo.

I dont know if this is a private owned location or just terrible management. While hanging out in my truck around 6 ish I was watching the staff block off half a row of free parking to make it reserved first off this is just immortal and secondly it didnt increase their sales it just jammed up the parking lot

Usually clean. They have a Popeyes and subway. Theirs 2 parts. The little quick stop for trucks and the big area for everyone. Theres a Verizon Wireless store inside the big area. And the restaurants inside closes at 10pm.
