I went to marble slab during the pandemic and always had a young girl named Hayden help me. She was so sweet and always made my cakes and ice cream to perfection. She ought to have deserved a raised but since the pandemic I haven’t seen her. You should definitely bring her back she was such a joy:)

Brought my kiddo here and she got bubble gum flavored ice cream with sprinkles mixed in. Went outside to eat it and she didnt like it. I knew she wouldnt because bubble gum flavor anything is not her thing. Not sure why she did it. So I told her Id buy her another one. Went inside and they realized what was going on and let her have another small cup of her choice with a mix in for free.Great store. Great people.

Im addicted to thier pistachio! And they have the flavors Im looking for over 90% of the time. The staff and ownership are great, and even encourage requests! And you already know your going to pay a little more for small batch excellence!

The ice cream birthday cake for my babys first birthday was the best ever cake. I chose the one from their catalog, but with a different cover. It came out just perfect! I was worried that its too big and too much of it would be left, but now Im really excited to be able to eat it every day XD

I have been getting Great American Cookie cakes for my children every year on their birthdays. Yesterday I purchased a cookie cake from this location and I have never been more satisfied! The young girl behind the counter was so helpful with my order and even made the cake right on the spot for me in a matter of minutes! She was so sweet and even offered me a complimentary drink & chocolate chip cookie while I waited. The cake had a simple Happy Birthday Tyler with a picture of my sons football jersey on it. She asked me what his favorite colors as well as his teams colors were and proceeded to make the cake with the ones I listed which is something I have never been asked before and have normally received only white and chocolate icing. Once finished she rang me up and with the purchase of my cake she included a $2.00 off coupon for my next cake along with 2 free cookie cards because I had told her I had two sons at home that absolutely love the cookies here. Overall the cake and the superior customer service here will definitely have me coming back again! Thank you Alexandria you did such an awesome job on my sons cake and you helped make his birthday so much more special!

I’ve been coming to this location for many years. My wife and I have purchased many cakes, cookies, ice creams & have supported every fundraiser this location has had to offer. Unfortunately we have both come to the decision to no longer purchase cakes from this location anymore. Over the past 8 years we’ve purchased anywhere from 9-12 pan cakes alone(big family) and they’ve always been exceptionally beautiful cakes. However the past few cakes we’ve purchased have been decorated horribly. We don’t expect perfection but these cakes are just very subpar to what we used to receive. They look as if a very inexperienced employee has been decorating them. If the prices weren’t so high I wouldn’t mind paying regardless of how the decor looked, but that’s simply not the case! The little blonde girl Alexandria always took care of our orders and the sky was the limit with our ordering she made our own special version of Harley Quinn since it was copyright, Air Force and Navy appreciation cakes for our military background. Zoo themed cake with very realistic animals and many more! Wish all of these were still an option but sadly we know not to have high expectations anymore. Oh well! Off to a bakery I suppose!

Good ice cream. Really like the chocolate with Reeses mix ins. Wouldnt mind more seating especially during the summer when its busier.

My husband and I went in for a milkshake and cookies. The manager was very nice! He chatted with us and made us feel welcomed. We have been to this Marble Slab many times and love the ice cream.

Very horrible experience.. I love ice cream and the ice cream is good but the employees were very rude they didnt work as a team and seemed like they couldnt even tolerate each other.. I went to sit me and my 4 year old down and the tables were very sticky and it smelled horrible in there as well.. Im sorry to say that I wouldnt recommend it to anyone (not this location at least)

Terrible service. Was in there for 15 minutes waiting for them to check us out. Served 3 people before us that came in after we did and even then weren’t sure if we paid. Overall, trash service. Will not be going back. Don’t come here if you’re looking to leave with ice creme still cold

I went in tonight for a late night treat with 15 minutes to spare. Much to my surprise, the slab was already MELTED. As a former employee, Im familiar with the procedure there. Maybe 15-30 minute before close, the slab is turned off so it stops being cold/freezing. Only after the open sign has been turned off and door locked should the slab be cleaned with water rendering it unusable until the next day. Granted things mightve changed since then but thats a strange thing to change considering people come in to have their ice cream mixed on the slab. Better luck next time I hope.

Its Marble Slab so you know its great ice cream! The owner at this location is a really good guy and their service is awesome. Our office orders here all the time.

1rst in after a long day in the GRUENE Historic District with several groups behind us.Service was great and the product was amazing.

Ive been to Marble Slab for as long as I can remember. This location specifically, I do NOT recommend. My daughter used to work here at this location and she says that in the back of the store the pipes smell so badly its hard to withstand while just washing the dishes, and this is where the ICE CREAM IS MADE GROSS!!! I went in the other day to get a few cookies and they tasted exactly like cleaning product. They made me so sick I didnt even want to go back in and return them. Not to mention the employee with blonde hair who was helping me was absolutely rude! I recommend San Marcos location and any location in San Antonio but the New Braunfels location is HORRENDOUS.

Went to get some delicious ice cream my brother was raving about. Went in between 5-7pm Yesterday wasnt to busy but the service i got made me throw away my ice cream. Of course we did it after we left the store. The women making our mix ins over filled the cup and the ice cream was melting down my arm . As i turned around to ask for a lid i see the other employee preping cookie dookie and eatting above the cookie dough box at the same time . I work for a food industry & i know that kind of stuff is not tolerated at a food business. It was very un professional need better trained employees.

Delicious ice cream, however the servers making the ice cream arent very familiar with the combos suggested in the front of the ice cream case.

We paid over $62 for our ice cream!It was $4.29 a cup and then another $1.49 each for a cone for a total of $5.78 for a kids cone. Each of the adults paid $6.78 for one scoop. Way to much!We were not told the cones were more!

I usually dont go to marble slab but we decided to try it and we love it. The people were so friendly and we will be going more often.
