Great place to shop. Super cute store. My favorite place

It’s a really cute shop. I bought 3 things. A pitcher and cup and a car coaster. The lady at the counter was really sweet and wrapped them up nicely so they wouldn’t break. I was disappointed when I got home and noticed that my coaster wasn’t in the bag. Mistakes happen and I should have checked the bag before leaving.

I love this place. It has great spiritual gifts. I always feel blessed when I go into this place. It is amazing. If you are ever in the area make sure to visit.

Today, for my mother’s birthday her sisters took her to this store. They had even picked out gifts to be held at the counter, but they left with nothing because of the most AWFUL staff. Treated as if they were going to steal for simply smelling candles and lotions, followed around the store and yelled at not to touch things by a horrible woman. Unacceptable! We will never visit this store again.

Wonderful Shop of Goodies! You get the feeling of walking from room to room in a beautiful old home, only it is filled with wonderful collectibles - new treasures, not antiques. There are stationary items, inexpensive jewelry pieces, wall art, home decor furnishing, candles, just way too much to name. Leave your husband outside, or better off at Gruene Hall with a beer and give yourself plenty of time to go room to room looking at each little treasure. This one is a gem.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Theres five of us in our group. My grandma and my sister were admiring the rings and ladies offered to help us find a sizing that would fit. We found some really nice smelling hand cream, t-shirts, knick-knacks and rings. Great place!

I love this store. They have a wonderful selection to pick from. Two days before Christmas I went in there after stopping at 4 other places with no luck. The ladies were so helpful, I left with wonderful gifts for my friends.

Staff was friendly, lots to see, decent prices

I went to the outside portion of the store and went to touch one of the garden decorations and I got yelled at by one of the lady’s in a very rude manner I quickly walked away in fear.If she would have said please don’t touch that or hey can you please not touch that would have been way betterdo not recommend I would give 0 stars if it was a option

Great shop, my wife and I really enjoyed our visit! They have something for everyone, and the woman working there was super friendly and helpful! Can’t wait to try out my Western Jalapeño Dip Mix!

I was here with my mom and sister taking a look at the pretty sculptures outside... there are no “no photography” signs and my mom took her phone out to take a picture. Soon a man came out telling us in Spanish to leave... I guess he just assumed we didn’t speak English and proceeded to escort us all the way back to the street. A simple, “please don’t take pictures” or “no photography allowed” would have sufficed. It felt rude but we just went to the next antique shop... there’s plenty more and better :)

Rude and condescending, on the part of the owner and staff, pretty much sums up our experiences at Dancing Bears.Potentially fun nick-naks, but the attitude of the owner and staff is offsetting and mood-killing.My wife and I, along with our “accomplists” visited The Dancing Bears and were treated like a pack of thieves. One example, my wife brought two Christmas tree ornaments from another room to show me and ask my opinion.She was, immediately, grabbed by the arm by the woman shop keeper and asked if she would like for “those items” to be held at the front desk.They were hardly large or bulky enough to require assistance. And, the attitude was not pleasant or helpful . . . more accusatory. We immediately returned them to where she found them.I am 71 years old, a retired CEO, and hardly need to be stealing $3.95 trinkets.My wife and I were doing nothing more than “holiday shopping”, and in a pleasant mood up until this incident.Just know that, when you enter, you are under surveillance and profiled as a “threat to the establishment” as opposed to a potentially “valued customer”.This was our second unpleasant experience, the first being the same season last year. We won’t be going back for a third.My daughter said, “Let’s get out of here, so we left Dancing Bears and went next door, where we spent $700+ with two very pleasant and professional ladies.The one star from this review is for the inventory of trinkets, nothing more. I see other reviewers have voiced similar positions.

Worst customer service ever! Everyone in my family got kick out! She was rude to my husband, she really needs to learn how to treat people! Never shopping there again.

The store might have some interesting offerings, but the piss poor attitude of the proprietor ensures I wont be going back anytime soon.
