Cute little shop right in the heart of downtown. Friendly service and unique finds for sure.

I’m so glad I know about this shop. The local is in downtown New Braunfels. Parking is very easy in front of the shop or in a lot across the street. The vibe of The Local is laid back with a lot of class. Vintage offerings with so many unique items are presented throughout the shop. This is my go to shop for special gifts for men or women. They support local artist and have a very healthy plant collection as well. The Local carries some amazing candles, men’s toiletries, women’s jewelry and clothing. They carry many current trends in clothing and jewelry. They have a charming little sitting area where you can check out their old & new books. You’ll feel like you’ve walked into a friends home when shopping here, the staff is fabulous.

My whole family loves this store. There really is something for everyone. It is the one boutique that my wife pulls me into that I really do not mind going into. Cool stuff for men, nice jewelry and clothes for ladies and knickknacks and gadgets for everyone. If youre looking for a place to shop for birthdays or anniversaries go to The Local, you will not be let down.

Stop by this store and browse around! My boyfriend and I loved it. Such a unique array of items. Bought a shirt I loved and so did my boyfriend. Also bought a poster. The cashier was very kind and helpful. I will be coming back next time I am in NB.

I am not one to write my own reviews, but this store prompted me to do so for the first time!!! Great little shop that offers a big experience and something for everyone. Returning today to buy my wife some earrings she regretted not getting immediately after we left and love supporting small business. The Local breaks the mold and will exceed your expectations.

The staff is so friendly and helpful, the shop is so beautifully curated, and they have the best plant selection! Definitely my favorite shop in NB!

I have visited The Local three different times. Each tine, I have discovered something unique that truly spoke to me. I have shopped for my sister, my 14 year old daughter and myself. I encourage you to ask questions about the products - the stories of the products and who makes them are phemonal. That is what has caught my attention and caused me to take a moment to share. Give it a try and be thankful that we have stores in our fantastic New Braunfels downtown like this one!
