Excellent service, very knowledgeable, reasonable pricing. I was very impressed by their professionalism and timeliness in getting the job done. We had sod and dirt installed. They told us how to keep it maintained and they left the yard cleaner than when they got there. Will buy from The Grass Yard again, if you are needing sod I suggest you do the same!

Ordered sod for the yard after all the great reviews. We told them that we wanted it delivered to the back alley. They said they would call when they were on the way. They did NOT call and dumped three pallets of grass right in our front walkway about 5 feet from the front street, in full sun and drove off. This is more than 200 feet away from the work site. Not a happy customer.

Mark with The Grass Yard was genuinely a friendly person. We had some issues at first but he took care of it well beyond what he needed to do. His crew were fast efficient and friendly. I highly recommend them.

If youre wondering what company to call first CALL THE GRASS YARD!Personable, on time and friendly. I have only gotten a quote so far but they were contacting me back same day and even were able to give me a quote on the same day. Other places I have tried havent even called me back after a few days of waiting. The guy I spoke to (Mark) said that he could swing by after he was leaving a job and made a point to let me know it was no problem and not an inconvenience. I really appreciate that service as a customer.The Grass Yard is able to cut and deliver the grass fresh PLUS deliver AND install the grass for me. 2-3 days after ordering it too!I was looking into the Zoysia (el toro) grass and was also very happy they have it.

New braunfels hidden gem for sod. I was visiting my elderly parents who at the spur of the moment wanted to place some fresh grass down. I searched the web for sod in new braunfels and the grass yard came up. Its right off 46 heading to Seguin but if you blink you will miss it. I met the owner angela who is a sweet lady. She let me know the details of the grass I was getting (el toro) and in a matter of minutes she was already getting the fork lift ready to load up the sod. With several customers to talk to she did a great job speaking to everyone. My parents have a big yard that needs work so we will definitely be back. And yes, the new grass looks great. Very green and almost the whole pallet we got had perfect cuts. Thanks grass yard!

Paid 825 to have our yard sodded. April-May the grass looked like it was dead. Called them they said they do not guarantee their grass. So now Im stuck with a horrible backyard. Buyer beware

So I bought two pallets of grass from here.The owners were amazing, kind, and eager to please in my opinion.It took no time at all for them to load my truck, I was in and out in under 5 minutes.The grass sod itself took maybe 2 days to totally grow into the ground. Turned my dirt back yard into a grassy yard.Go to this place if your in the newbraunfels/seguin/Mcqueeny area

I was worried seeing the review on here that they closed early a few weeks ago so i called and asked the women what time they closed and let her know i would be there right at 5. I was maybe 3 min late and she waited for me. I think she said her name was Vanessa? very sweet. its a great company and they had what I needed.

Had what I needed, ordered it, was delivered on time a few days later at a reasonable price. Happy customer. Just wish they would be a little better about answering the phones.

In October of 2019 I reached out to The Grass Yard about prepping and sodding my lawn with St Augustine grass. Mark, Marcos, and their team did an exceptional job from start to finish. I could not be happier with the quality of the grass, the service, and overall experience!

Grass was good price but quality very poor, hardly any soil/ sand a lot lot of the pieces fell apart. Weeds in grass wil not do business there. First time but last! Home Depot or Lowe’s has better sod!

Would be helpful if you posted store hours on website. I called to find hours and then left work early to get there by 5:00. Too bad I showed up at 4:50 and they already closed. Guess hours dont mean anything. Bad business .
