I could barely walk after breaking one of my toes. The foot was too sensitive to put any pressure on it at all. The staff was super friendly and made room in their schedule to see me right away. They saw me immediately and were very caring. Everyone there was friendly, courteous and kind. The examination was thorough and I was given many tips such as which socks to wear (wool), how to pick the right shoes to avoid calluses, to avoid walking barefoot and more. After the examination they fitted me into multiple air cast boots to find the right one that fit me. They let me try on over 5 different brand products till I was in the most comfortable air cast for my foot. I am very pleased with the quality of care and service I received from them. I would definitely recommend others to go here. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me and I truly appreciate them fitting me into their schedule on a moments notice.

I did not actually get to meet Dr. Jonke due to her inept staff. I scheduled an appointment well in advance however Dr Jonke had an emergency and was unable to make our appointment. This is quite understandable however I was never notified that the doctor would be unable to make the appointment. Instead I took 1/2 day off work and met a lock office door when I arrived for my appointment. I called the office and the person I spoke with told me she had called me twice the day before and even left a message. The phone number I gave them for the appointment was my cell phone which I carry with me constantly and has many missed call/voice mail notification features. I was never called. Dr. Jonke may be a great doctor but I will never know because I will not deal with her inept staff.

Doctor Jonke appears to be very through. Ive worked with numerous doctors in my career. She is through and follows protocols. She is also open to alternative treatments, a more holistic approach. Im attempting to decrease my dependency on chemical meds. Sometimes natural approaches are a good alternative. Its good to see a physician who shares my beliefs. She recommended shoe inserts and a heel cup. My condition is complicated as Ive experienced a great deal of trauma to the foot and ankle. Two previous surgeries due to tendons being ripped from the bone and stretched too far to heal naturally. My only option was to repair the damage inside as it was more extensive than just the obvious. Dr. Jonke took the time to examine my foot throughly. Yes I will agree with the wait time is a little excessive. But if your a veteran or not she is worth any delays in being seen. The VA system is completely broken and Dr. Jonke is a welcome alternative to having to deal with the VA. Dr. Jonke is professional, educated and through. Remember if your being delayed delayed in being seen- every patient is unique, some patients require a little more time. Sometimes your healing comes more from within than with the physician.

The Customer Care staff is horrible. Im a veteran who deals with the awful service from the VA. The service here is on the same level of terrible.

I had been suffering from plantar fasciitis that made walking painful and kept me from playing sports. After following Dr. Jonkes recommendations and getting fitted for orthotics, I have made a quick recovery, my feet feel great, and Im back to normal. Dr. Jonke is very personable and followed up with me to track my progress. It so reassuring knowing that a doctor is sincerely interested in a patients well-being even after they leave the office. Dr. Jonke is great and I would highly recommend her.

Horrible service, never answers phone late to scheduled appointments. Only saving grace is staff. Charges for copies of medical record just bad business practices in general, never would I recommend this doctor.

Took my grandmother to see Dr. Jonke about her diabetic feet and she took great care of her. Her staff was very professional and explained everything very well. Highly recommend her!

When I made my appt with Dr Jonke the receptionist said they would call me in advance to remind me of date and time of appt. I never recieved a call so I called the office and the girl who answered the phone was very rude and said What do you want?! I told her i was calling to verify appt she said well we are closed!! And she hung up on me so I called back and she answered and I said I think we lost the call this guy got the phone from her and says no we didnt lose the call we dropped the call, what dont you understand!? We are closed! I said its not even 5 yet and I have an appt coming up...he didnt let me finish talking and said we will call you in the morning quit calling here cause we are closed! I was in shock to be spoken to this way...so morning comes and goes and I never received a call so I call the office and ask for date and time of my appt and when I tried to explain to her what happened yesterday when I called she could care less to listen to me..she said you missed your appt do you want to reschedule or not?!! I said no I do not but I would like to speak to the office manager she said well shes not here!! I said ok well give her my name and number please and ask her to call me about 30 min later I get a call from Eve, who apparently does the scheduling (i know this cause i asked if she was the manager) when I explain to her that noone called me in advance to verify appt she started going off on me telling me she forgot to call and do you want to set up another appt or not??!!! I said of course not but i do want to complain about the way I am being treated by the staff..she said there is no point in talking to management that isnt going to solve anything! As i proceded to tell her how I got hung up on she rudely interupted me and wouldnt let me finish talking and said why do you keep bringing yesterday up yesterday doesnt matter anymore! What you need to do is find another doctor!!!! I said well of course I am! Why would I put myself through all the stress of dealing with this office staff! And she continued to yell at me over the phone and I ended up hanging up on her.That office staff is very rude and unprofessional and really should be reported to someone! I even tend to wonder if the dr knows that the staff is running her patients off?!

Dr. Jonke is very thorough and takes her time explaining the problem.

I should have listened to the reviews! Took hours to tell me what was going on. I had an appointment at 1:45, and they were still on lunch. Please listen to these reviews!
