I visited stop&shop store #645 1309 Corbin ave. NB, CT today August 27, 2021 at 4:06Pm. The store seems Dirty & unkempt. The bread container had a live fly flying around. what is going on in this store? Additionally, once I got to the cashier I encountered a non-caring clerk, rude young lady by name Lisa,who appeared not to be interested in replying to a simple hello. I refused to Patronized this store again. I have been to other Stop& shops at other Cities and it appeared that employees were a bit more polite and respectful of their customers. This employee Lisa, has no business working in a set up where she is in direct contact with customers. She lacks education and manners.

During my lunch breaking, I was shopping for some healthy food for my daughters lunch. As I was getting her some yogurts, a stocker was instinctively kind enough to tell me exactly where the spoons & napkins were (in one of the stores back corners). In fact, I would say that just about every employee I saw in that supermarket was very tuned in to what their customers wanted and needed! I wish I had learned that gentlemans name.

As in all grocery stores prices are going up. Shopping here is a good experience. I like this store. They have large variety. Meats are always looking good.

It’s Stop & Shop. Expensive and this store is in need of a makeover. Restrooms need attention as usual. Only good thing is they do have good sales occasionally and they don’t charge for parking

Employees are helpful and polite.I enjoy shopping here and they have everything I need.

Store usually dirty. Hard to self check out as something always goes wrong with the registers!! Cannot get help in store or at register. Also, slow staff at deli, and often talking with people about whatever!! Call these people when you are off… not when you are working and there is a line!!

This place never has shopping carts, the employees are horible, items never in stock, place is filthy, as the parking lot is a mess and i can never walk in without some drug addict at the entrance asking for change i will never come back this store has lost my business permanently and i will encourage other people to never shop here. I live less than a minute from here n i rather travel to the next towns stop and shop just to do some decent shopping.

Nicely laid out as other Stop and Shop markets so i get what i need quickly. Or browse as i did today, clean store, friendly people.

Upgrading my rating to 5 stars just for the fact that the pharmacy is one of the friendliest Ive ever dealt with. Wouldnt go anywhere else...

Always extremely clean, bright, its dirt free on every shelf. At times the waiting for a cashier to open up because scheduling mistakes takes awhile. Looking down the fruits isle veggie is like looking down one in Willy Wonkas chocolate factory!!!

I visited the florist department and the young lady that helped me was extraordinary, she made a beautiful bouquet for me in record time and it was gorgeous. The best $ 32.00 plus tax that I have ever spent for 2 dozen roses, they are still magnificent.

Ive done online ordering several times. It is very convenient and the charge for the service is reasonable. The staff has always been friendly. My ONLY complaint would be that I dont need quite so many bags. Several bags only has one item which seems wasteful. Otherwise, it has been great!

Went in this afternoon at 4 pm. Not a working cart in store to use. All outside and wet. Mentioned to worker mandating self checkouts, who just ignored me and walked away. Went in to get some groceries but ended up on grabbing what I could carry, which wasnt much due due to fractured arm and sprang ankle. Could not get into website noted on receipt to comment. Error message.

The WORST customer service experience ever. I have shopped at this store for 10+ years at this location. In the last two years I have always used the mobile scan it app. when I do my shopping. I actually used this app. at this location within the last two weeks. Last night I attempted to check out while having used the app. and received an error; the young lady at the self checkout came over and said We dont use that here I explained to her that Ive always used it & even used it 2 weeks ago. She told me to go wait in line for a cashier to assist me. I stood in line for 10 minutes; this time the cashier along with her supervisor/manager (not sure who she is because she never introduced herself) told me No, we dont use it here. NEVER have. We dont have scan it machines I again explained that this is how I have done my shopping at THIS location for the last two years. The cashiers friend was waiting behind me & had already loaded up her cart full of groceries (although I was in the express checkout lane) and was waiting for me to move. The supervisor/manager told me to go wait in yet another aisle to load my groceries and cash out. This time I waited for 20 minutes (busy night at the store OR the fact that only 2 registers were open (1 being express) could have caused the delays)) While I was waiting- the supervisor/manager opened a lane and took everyone around me (who was waiting AFTER me) to check out. First of all, per stop & shop (website & app) all of their locations within 20 miles of New Britain INCLUDING New Britain are mobile scan it stores. This is the worst service ever; the person in charge did NOTHING to rectify the situation or to make my shopping experience any better- in fact all 3 people i dealt with made it worse. What should have been a 20 minute grocery trip turned into 1.5 hours of frustration. If I wanted to wait in line during a pandemic to buy groceries and unload & load up my cart I would shop elsewhere. Which seems to be the best option here- Ill be shopping locally at OTHER stores.

Smells like stale beer in the chips isle for some reason.

They have a lot, and cost a lot, nuff said.

They have everything I need from fresh baked breads and cakes to fresh fruit. Also if you need sanitizer and gloves they have that too.

I really like this store- STOP AND SHOP because produce is always fresh, need really fresh fruit and vegetables, and S-S is the store...great!!

I love shopping here they usually have what I need. I just wish that people would pay attention to the arrows on the floor and stop being lazy and rude by going the wrong way down the aisles.

The renovations look amazing. It is hard to find sour oranges in other grocery stores, but every time I come here, there is always plenty. I had forgot an item & Shanice went out of her way to get it for me & ring me out even though it was close to closing & she wasnt on a register. What great service!

They really need to fire the spanish kid in the seafood department. He is no help this is the 4th time i had to walk away he has no customers service experience and gives nothing but attitude. He should be doing stock and nothing else.

Im from North Carolina and we dont have anything that comes close to this store. This is a amazing grocery store. Produce is unbelievably good. Everything else is and looks fantastic. The employees were very helpful and didnt mind you asking questions. Love this place.

I bought some Boston Creme donuts from the bakery. They were fresh and 😋 good price foe half dozen. 3.59. Good deal!

I live in NB so I use Corbin the most. The rotisserie chickens are not usually pretty. I used the Southington location more now. They have better produce ( the look of the food prepared foods and the discount area) The convenience and overall selection is average at best.

Store as any other grocery store! Open to midnight, time in 10 pm went to buy basics. 78$ for 10 items, haha. Nothing that I will have to like comment positive or negative about it. Thumbs up for organic natural products that keeps me believing in good health and thumb down for costs of them. Awesome natural rostie chicken nice and very tasty but disappointing for price of Macedonia nuts, 11.45$ for handful bag.

Just wish their flowers were fresher. ..I go there every Sunday for fresh ones for my living room and kitchen and they usually die quickly even with a little food in their water. Outside of that.. I had a good experience as always at my neighborhood Stop and Shop. I find the check out folks patient and helpful. The staff working in the store are always ready to help me locate items.

Im stop and shop loyal, but they just never have enough registers open. Everyone is not a fan of self checkout. This store is usually pretty clean, but I did see a big fat roach crawling around the apples once, store staff took care of it right away. I dont think it was a store issue but more likely brought in by a customer. Pricing: a little high but their sales are usually pretty good and the coupons printed at register or on the Application are great.

I love this stop and shop! Before they were a little messy but with the remodel its a pleasant shopping experience with such a variety of products for a decent price compared to the competition. So many Amentities available including Red Box and an ATM and a Bank as well as a pharmacy and so much more! It truly is a one stop shopping experience! Im here almost everyday I appreciate it so much! It hurt me when they went on strike but I understand that their employees had to fight for their benefits and I supported them through all of it!

As usual, it was a pleasant experience with the cleanliness and the store staff. My one negative thing was someone from corporate being arrogantly condescending to the store manager in front of me... You think this might be a training issue???

I go to Stop & Shop in New Britain for my meat such as steak, pork, etc and have always been very happy. They are the only grocery store I trust for fresh meat however I was very upset today with their hamburg selection. It was alittle off color but I assumed it was ok and had soaked up the blood and thats why it was a light brownish color. When I opened it at home it smelled SO SOUR I almost vomited. Next time Ill be more careful.

Couldnt find things an when I asked employee they sent me to the wrong isle..ppl were to close to each other when waiting to check out! One of the worst trips there..

Although, the store is very clean, when I got into the parking lot early in the morning, when the store first opened, it was disgusting there was garbage all over the parking lot. It leaves a bad impression for Stop & Shop.

I usually prefer stop & shop over other local grocery stores. But I got to say this one is the WORST I’ve ever been to. I got over charged for everything, the trainee cashier was left alone and had no idea how to scan produce items. In fact I was told that everything on the produce aisle was “organic”. I had to take pictures of the items and show them. One employee touched my kale and said “yeah it’s organic I can tell by the leaf”. I didn’t know stop & shop had botany experts. The manager was the worst part of my experience. Never again.
