Good food... Inexpensive, but quality, and made with care... We have been coming to New Brunswick once a year for the past four years to attend a Hip Hop Dance convention and we ways make it here for breakfast!

Hard pass. Top to bottom this place is filthy. Beverage/Coffee selection is limited. Go elsewhere. You are welcome.

I love it here! Bagels and other breakfast items are great! Egg whites and sausage at a reasonable price. Staff is very friendly!

Refusing to make me a sandwich from the menu which was ordered *over an hour before closing time* because it was too messy to make... Not cool. I wont be back. Bagel Nosh right down the street is better anyway, go there.

I will never return to this place again. The lady at the register is so rude and does not care about the customers at all. I placed an order to be picked up and when I got there it was not ready. The lady began laughing and speaking Spanish with the cook while looking at my order that she did take over the phone. She didnt apologize once for the inconvenience. Bagel Nosh is right down the street and they are always so friendly. Dont waste your time here.

After the bad customer service from my previous review I stayed and waited for my food. When the woman who takes the orders started making our food she had only one glove on. She kept wiping her nose with the ungloved had. I immediately left without our food. I will NEVER come back.

Usually, I order a bagel, lox and cream cheese. The bagels are fresh, the lox is generously applied and the cream cheese is creamy. They also make big breakfast sandwiches.

The bagels here are alright and the staff is nice and friendly. I think its quite overpriced compared to bagel nosh a couple of blocks away

Incredibly delicious, flavourful bagels that are on the salty side (instead of, ugh, the sweet side). I got a rye bagel and a multigrain bagel and loved both of them. These bagels would challenge the best of NYC.

I dont understand the reviews. The lady at the counter is just rude, talking on the phone the whole time. A drink the food… I could not finish my sandwich. It just tasted awful.When I read the reviews I feel like theyre about another restaurant. Is there a secret door to a nice bagel place hidden somewhere in there??

This place is horrible!!! I ordered 2 turkey subs and the lady that was preparing my sandwiches, only had on one glove!!! She actually held my turkey in her bare hand!!! Then answered the phone with the same bare hand, and went back to making my sandwiches, without washing her hands. She also placed my bagel in the toaster with her bare hand. Nope! I told her, I didnt want the food and walked out! Not sanitary!!!

Pretty good bagels at a great price. Open early so its a perfect spot to stop in for a quick breakfast before work or grab a sandwich to go on the way to the train which is a few minutes walk away.

I don’t know how this place has decent reviews. I only come here because it has more options than my closest bagel place. Everytime I come here I’m reminded why I shouldn’t come here. First of all, they don’t open at 5 am. I’ve been here at 5 am and nobody is here. Second of all, the woman that works at the register is super unpleasant and will be on the phone and “helping” you at the same time. You won’t get a “hi how are you?” You’ll get a woman talking on the phone gossiping while ringing you up.

I would come here before hearing about Bagel Nosh a block down, but I would only be here when I didnt want to walk all the way to Hole in the Wall! Totally expensive and smells a little funky as well. Never been a fan, but it was so convenient I would always end up here.

I ordered through Uber eats and called to fix a mistake with my order and they hug up on me 3 times & said “oh well, your food is ready”.. I’ve always been a costumer of La Bagel especially the Edison location however, I will never return after being treated so poorly when I’m a paying costumer..
