They took every measurement possible to ensure my tuxedo was perfect. They did not disappoint. My confidence was on a hundred, thousand and received endless compliments to match. This is my second time here and the level of expertise and knowledge of custom clothing is incredible. The staff of B. Nathaniel are courteous and patient. I asked many questions and it never seemed to bother them. I left very excited to see how you custom suits will come out.I chose fabric swatches, then matched them with custom lining and custom buttons. I even included my monogram inside of the suit jacket.Last but not least the shop is really beautiful. The decor made me feel I was comfortable and at ease. I will post pics of the finished suit.
B. Nathaniels deserves all of the praise they get. As a new customer I felt welcomed and taken care of. I called other tailors in the area as I had to get a groomsman suit hemmed and altered in only a couple days time, and B. Nathaniels was the only one who said theyd be able to do it (and they did it even quicker than they quoted me). They offered great advice on how to do the alterations and adjusted everything based on my preferences. The cost was very reasonable. The suit came out looking phenomenal. I rarely ever write reviews, but they deserve the 5 stars. Thank you!
So I started out by making an appointment online. Thought it was weird the place let me make an appointment when the google page for the business says no online appointments. Whatever probably just a listing error. But I was immediately disappointed upon arriving at the store. The person working the front didnt even know I was coming, asked if I called ahead and didnt even know what I wanted even though I filled out the appointment request online. Didnt even introduce himself. I tried describing what I wanted, that my jacket was a large but the shoulders fit me like a medium and got really tight around the shoulder and back whenever I lifted my arms. Id never been to a tailor before so I wasnt great as explaining what I needed but thats what youre supposed to help a customer with, to try and understand what they need and suggest a solution theyd be happy with. This man told me what I wanted would cost a few hundred dollars?! And didnt even understand what I needed altered so wasnt sure how he came up with a number for how much itd cost. To top it off, he told me I should buy a size larger or lose weight. Even though I tried explaining that the large fits me and xl would be too big. Unprofessional, not courteous, rude, and obviously not equipped to help customers figure out what they need to alter on their suits. Surely he wasnt expecting me to describe in tailor lingo what i needed? Thats the whole damn reason I went to a tailor in the first place was to figure out how I could alter the jacket to fit me.
I was having a tough time finding a suit that fit off the rack. I found this place online and saw they made custom suits.I was so extremely pleased with the service I received here. Darius was wonderful and helped me pick all the details and ensure I got the suit I wanted. I had a wedding to attend on a Friday. On Monday, the groom bought all the groomsmen our suits; mine was baggy and fit pretty poorly around the pants. I needed a fast alteration, and B. Nathaniel showed several positive reviews saying the alterations were completed in less than a day.I made an appointment online, and the earliest available appointment was for Wednesday. On Wednesday morning, I got a text from the store saying something urgent had come up, and requested that I reschedule my appointment to Thursday instead. I asked if my suit alterations could still be completed by Friday afternoon, and I was told, “Yes we can have done. No worries.”When I got in on Thursday, Dariaus seemed surprised at my request to have it completed by Friday afternoon, even though it was part of our original communication. He charged me a rush fee for it - the money itself honestly wasn’t a big deal, since it was only 10 dollars. I just would’ve preferred to be warned about it ahead of time when I mentioned it on Wednesday. He said they’d be done by tomorrow afternoon, but didn’t give me a time to pick it up. I figured he’d contact me whenever he had it completed and I would be able to grab it before the store closed.On Friday at about 12:45, I got a call asking me to come in IMMEDIATELY to pick up the suit. He told me he had errands he needed to run and wouldn’t be back for the rest of the day. I was busy at work, so I had to ask my girlfriend to go in and pick it up.The suit itself turned out well. I’m happy with the altered fit - still a little baggy in the back but not bad for a rush job. I’m less happy with the service. I was grateful that he was able to make time in his schedule to get the work done, but I didn’t appreciate the suddenness with which he expected me to drop my plans to suit his own. I understand the store is short-staffed, but next time, I would rather be informed ahead of time about what to expect, so I can find an appropriate alteration service to handle the job.Again: the job got done. The service may be adequate for you, so I won’t say to not go here. Just trying to leave an honest review.
I had a great experience here, I had a super last minute prom dress alteration and they were able to have it done in two days. The service was great and the alterations could not have been better. Would definitely recommend!

I came into his shop at the beginning of August, with a wedding on November 3rd, and asked him to make me a custom from a piece of fabric I chose in his store. I walked in with an idea of knowing what I wanted without being able to explain it. Darious sat there patiently showing me many fabrics until I finally chose the perfect one. I was a little nervous since the fabric was quite bold, but the way Darious made the suit come together with the perfect fit and accessories (interior lining, elbow pads etc.), it was PERFECT.My wife loved the suit (I didnt show her prior to our wedding day) and everyone complimented it the entire night.In ADDITION to making my custom suit, he made a suit for my Dad, SEVEN of my groomsmen and an additional suit for me. TEN SUITS.Again, he was able to make this happen for me with short notice and only 2 of my groomsmen lived locally. One guy was in Alabama even. Still, didnt matter. They rocked it and I highly would recommend.
I had the pleasure of working with B. Nathaniel for my wedding. All I had was a picture of what my wife thought would be nice and a rough idea of how I wanted to look. On the day of the last fitting, my wife was gleaming with joy. The picture she handed me had been customized to a well fitting look that she said was perfect for me. Im not typically one to post reviews, but the services we recieved over the last 6 weeks at B. Nathaniel Bespoke have been exceptional to say the least. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere. Dariaus was able to accommodate our last minute request for a custom 3-piece suit and even helped with tailoring a matching face mask and repairing my worn dress shoes. I got an appointmet last week, I waited more than 20 mintues for sb to come and open the door to me, nobody was there, then I was promised to get another appointment, but nobody has reached me till now...appointmetns can be cancelled by a phone call respectfully but not keeping the customer wait for more than 20 minutes and then nothing...

I went to Darius on short notice, giving him only a month to measure, design, create, and deliver me a suit for the best day of my life - my wedding! We had an initial design session where he guided me in my choices (but never pushed a look that didnt suit my personal style), from fabric and collar-type, to my tie, buttons, custom embroidery, and the design on the inside of my jacket and vest. Our second session was the fitting, and he made sure that everything fit exactly how it should. Throughout the process, communication with Darius was a consistent and open dialogue. I never felt uncomfortable dropping him a note asking for advice on what belt and shoes to pair with my suit on my big day. When the day finally came, everyone I spoke to complimented me on what I was wearing - the fit, the colors, the tie, the jacket and vest lining. I used B. Nathaniel to alter my suits. Inhas several suits that i wanted to make slim fit. Its amazing the work they did. People thought my suits were custom made when they were done. I received a gift card for a custom suit and scheduled an appointment online. I met with Darius in his show room and we went through several fabric books to be sure I found the exact color and pattern I was looking for. I was impressed with the amount of options and details available for customization - so much so, that I ended up choosing to purchase another jacket because I couldnt pick just one. He proceeded to take my measurements and made sure he understood the type of fit I was looking for. The full custom suit (jacket, pants and shirt) and extra blazer arrived according to schedule and fit like a glove when I went back for the fitting. The suit is perfect and exceeded my expectations. I’ve recieved a ton of compliments already and I’ve only worn it once. It won’t be my last time getting a custom suit from here. Highly recommended.

As I headed into the store today I was thinking about how far away I would have to move to stop relying on B. Nathaniel for tailoring. The answer is: pretty damn far. These folks have tailored everything for me over the past several years - from pants, to ball gowns, a velvet suit jacket, to a bridesmaid dress and there is no one I trust more with my alterations. Also - Im a horrible procrastinator and they have always somehow managed to accommodate my annoying turn around time requests (please be better than me and dont wait to take your item in!!).They are personable, honest, helpful, and efficient as heck. Unacceptable service. I had to go back three times to get my shirts. The lack of professionalism and courtesy to notify of delay is unbelievable. I even had the owners word that it would be complete on a certain and I still had a delay. My shirts still dont fit right. One sleeve is slightly tighter than the other. I had to try each shirt on yet never had my measurements of my body taken. My shirts dont all fit the same. I recommend getting your services done elsewhere.

I just got back from a trip and had to attend a wedding at the end of the week. Not being able to find my tailored pants anywhere I had less than two days to get a replacement. I quickly purchased a suit but had to have it fitted, so I went to Mens Wearhouse first and called two other places but they all refused to take the job due to the (obvious) short notice. Finally, I found B. Nathaniel Bespoke and even though they were busy with other work, they accepted the one day job. The suit that i found was the smallest size for men, because hes in between sizes even the smallest size was way too big. With only a week away from his 8th grade dance i needed a miracle. I didnt think he could do the work and Id be back at square one. That miracle i needed was blessed apon us. He was able to reconstruct the entire suit! My son looked amazing! Praise God! I had a formal work dance/dinner party in the middle of January and the two suits I had were too big for me, so I needed to get a new suit. Did a search on places around my area and based on the ratings, I decided to check this place out. I scheduled my appointment online with ease and got an instant email confirmation.Prior to my appointment, I had a few questions, so I emailed the place. Didnt get a response until the day before my appointment, I got a call from the owner, Dariaus. He answered my questions and just made sure I was able to make the drive because there was a snow storm.Since its in New Brunswick, there are metered street parking, but there are two free parking lots. One is off of Kirkpatrick Street, which I did not park into because it was full and pretty small/tight. I parked in the larger parking lot off of Paterson Street and there seemed to be no problems.Theres essentially two entrances. The first time, I walked into the basement where the tailoring shop was. I was greeted by Dariaus and met his co-worker . I was taken upstairs to the main showroom and had a nice, clean, comfortable layout. From there, Dariaus took the time to pick out the fabrics, color of my dress shirt, the color and fabric for in the inside of my suit...pretty much every little detail! Since it was my first time shopping there, he gave me a sweet package deal. He then took all of my measurements and made recommendations throughout the process since it was my first custom suit.When the entire process was done, I was told that it would be done by 1/13, maybe even earlier, which was plenty of time before my work event, which was on the 19th. A few weeks went by and I didnt hear anything from them on 1/6, so I emailed asking for a status hoping to be ready on the 13th. Got a response a day later saying the my suit was done, but it was currently being monogrammed and ready for pick-up on Monday.I ended up picking it up on Tuesday morning before work and tried everything on. The pants and dress shirt fit perfectly, but the jacket sleeves were too short. Think it was about an inch/inch and a half above my wrist. The gentleman (I forget his name) convinced it looked fine, but I was not comfortable with it and asked if it was possible to extend the sleeves to my wrists. He said he will see what he could do and I had to come back later that night to pick it up. I was pleased that he was able to fix the sleeves and have me come back to the shop at 9:30 that night. Tried on the jacket and the length was perfect!As for the event, the suit looked and felt great! I really did feel like a million bucks walking into my event. Im amazed on how detailed everything was, especially the inside fabric and how my name was sewed on. I got a lot of compliments from my co-workers. One of my co-workers later told me that her husband knew that my suit was custom tailored.Im definitely coming back for my second suit. Its better to call the shop if you have questions/concerns. Email communication is good, but can take a day or two to respond. Overall, it was a great experience shopping and working with Dariaus! Thank you!

Working with Dariaus and Les was an extremely satisfying experience. After researching several different tailors for my wedding, I chose to go to B.Nathaniel Bespoke. I got in touch with Dariaus via the phone number listed on the website and made an appointment. Upon arrival Dariaus made my family and me feel both comfortable and important. He showed my father and me several different fabrics and made sure to be upfront and honest about the cost. He took time to stay after his store closed to ensure that I had gotten everything I wanted. When the suits were finished we could not have more pleased with the results. I honesty cannot thank Dariaus and Les enough, they went above and beyond to make my wedding suit experience a memorable one. I highly recommend B. Nathaniel. I went with my fiancé and asked Dariaus the owner to help me make my fiancé a custom suit. Well he did just that and gave us an excellent price. Ladies if you want your man to have that tailored look, and gentlemen if you want to look like your tailored, I highly suggest you stop by. They also recut several old suits to make them look modern. You wont be disappointed.
