The owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone. The man really knows his stuff and will get you setup with the perfect Bow for you! He doesnt pressure you to purchase anything either. Great Business.

Have been coming Acorn Archery for over 6 years. My first bow as a kid was purchased from here and I was always taken good care of. The range is awesome. Lucky to have a pro shop as good as this one in my area!

Bob is one of the best bow technicians Ive found. Hes meticulous with set-up, doesnt rush and makes sure the bow is right before you leave. Prices are fair and Ive been able to find used bows at good prices for friends and family. The indoor range is the best in PA. I drive almost an hour one-way from Pittsburgh for anything archery related when I have two Hoyt dealers closer. The shop is that good!

Not the friendliest shop around. You get the feeling that you’re only welcome if you’re spending money. Prices are higher than nearby pro shops. I compared prices of the same bows to all nearby shops and found that the owners claims of having the cheapest prices aren’t completely true. Range and techno hunt are more expensive and not very impressive. I’d recommend one of the other nearby pro shops instead.

Bob is the man! The time, care and attention to detail that he puts into tuning your bow is unmatched! Went in and purchased my first bow from him it was a great experience! When you leave his shop your bow will be spot on. I live 10 mins from our local pro shop in oakdale but I drive an hour just to go to his shop. Bottom line is he genuinley cares about what he does and that your satisfied, puts immense pride into his work and wont let you leave until your 100%. You Can rest assured that he will take care of your bow as if he was tuning his own. As I said customer service, care, knowledge, and attention to detail is unmatched stop in talk to Bob you wont be disappointed!

Ive been to Acorn Archery 3 times in the last month and was nervous going the first time. This place carries very good and high end gear. The reason I was nervous about going was because Im brand new to the sport. I came in with a used bow, not knowing anything. Bob not only took time to help me out, but didnt treat me like I feared I could have been treated for not having the best gear or for being a newcomer to the sport. On the third trip, replaced my bow string, and then I was helped in a way I was not expecting. I headed to the shooting range to site in my bow... and a member of the staff, or just a friend also named Bob, helped me for 45 minutes to get my bow ready. I was so thankful for the help and kindness. Never did I feel that I was looked down upon because I didnt know what I was doing. I am amazed at the amazing customer service!Oh and for those who thought the prices are too high; I got a new bow string, a nocking loop, a peep site, 1 hour of target practice, and a personal set up for 45 minutes for 28 dollars. That is more than reasonable!
