I went into store today for help. Kelsey help me with my automatic a life jacket. I didnt purchase a thing and she refuse to bill may for a service charge. What a great customer experience!

Very helpful and they held a part for me until I arrived.

The folks who work for West Marine are very friendly and helpful, but it took weeks to get what I ordered online shipped to store. When I picked up part of my order, it was damaged. They immediately worked to get me a replacement, but that took much longer still. Again, super friendly and responsive staff, but very long delay in shipping. Expect to wait.

Great place and Mike is super helpful. Wide selection and a wealth of knowledge. Mike is great!

The clerk on phone did not know what an outboard motor was or if the store sold them.

I worked with Henry today, and he provided exceptional customer service! He worked with me to actually eliminate items I had put on a wishlist, and then explained why those items were not necessary given the other electronics … bottom line is he did the opposite of upselling … he helped me get exactly what I needed. Also - selection and prices are great at this location. A GREAT experience. NOVEMBER UPDATE: This store has moved from a 5 star to a 10 star: I needed to re-rig my new to me boat, and required everything from oil to new fire extinguishers. The staff went FULLY above and beyond in assisting with selection, ordering a few items that were not in stock, pondering items I had not considered, and even made a trip to the boat (20 minutes away) to ascertain the correct size chain for a new custom West Marine made anchor rode! I cannot say enough about the expertise, patience, commitment of time, and customer service of this location. Bottom line - it is worth the trip from near or far to have these folks help you out. They wont steer you wrong - they get you set up right!! My only regret is not living up here, to use them full time.

Wow, lots of merchandise in the store and plenty to choose from. I was shopping for electronics and the employee (store owner I think) was very knowledgeable and really helped me zero on the one or two units to choose from!! Recommended.

Place looked like a war zone. Shelves were empty. Online numbers do not match store quantity.

Good selection of products. A little price but anything to do with a boat is . Not many people working there when I was there, so not sure if I was there on a slow day

Huge selection of boating accessories a little bit pricey for my taste but top notch merchandise

Unfortunately, West Marine has become one of the most expensive marine stores on the market. They are not competitive with the other supply houses and it would appear from their lack of Interest with regard to a letter written to them but they dont care. Their only advantage is that there are brick-and-mortar walking. We can only hope that their marketing department sees the error of their ways before they go toes up

For the size of the store, stock and variety 9f goods seems limited compared to a similar chain Im used to in Australia. Some staff seemed hesitant to help with a couple of questions.
