Outstanding experience today at Hertrich Hyundai. Came in to have recall issues addressed and met Megan Cox, my service advisor...amazing experience. She explained what would take place and was totally competent,organized and welcoming. (note to GM--hold on to this employee at all costs! ) Clean comfortable waiting room with a TV, complimentary coffee and vending machines. Spotless restrooms. Met with the GM to discuss another issue and was impressed with his demeanor as well. All issues were taken care of in a timely manner.Our family has purchased 3 cars in 5 years from this dealership and I would definitely return for another purchase based on our interactions with the sales and service department. Great job to Megan and the service dept. on todays visit. Thank you!

She had the car pulled to the front and was ready for me when I got there! From there she was knowledgeable, professional, and low pressure. This dealership has HORRIBLE!!! customer service, I went to this dealership to look at the new genesis. My intention was to purchase the vehicle today, they had only had 4 vehicles asking price starting at $75,000. No salesperson never came outside to greet me, I had to send my daughter inside to ask for assistance it took them another 10 minutes to come outside. The salesman was nonchalant and not interested in what I was looking for in a vehicle. I said I would go to another dealership who wants my business, he replied ok. I left there and called the Hyundai Corporation to report the treatment I received from this dealership. I would not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from this place.

I would never recommend this dealership! The cashier lisha was very rude and unprofessional . We made a complaint to the two managers upfront, and their response was “not Lisha, she has been here for many years” which is a very unfair thing to say. Her being there for numerous years should not justify how well she treats customers. A customer should never feel like their complaint isn’t valid simple because of how long an employee has been employed, which lets me know they only care about the sale! Both of the managers need to be re-trained on how to deal with customer complaints. I advise everyone to never buy from this dealership!!

I wanted to get the brake light replaced. I got charged for the replacement of the bulb but the actual work was not completed. Reported the issue back to the service desk and they took the car inside and fixed it. Better communication between technician and advisor would have avoided the issue

Called first 15 min before closing on a Saturday to schedule a service and recall appointment. Was told by the snippy girl on the phone she wasnt able to schedule my appointment because the computer was already off (BEFORE THEY WERE CLOSED) and that they would call me on Monday morning to schedule my appointment. When I on called on Monday and asked to speak to a manager, I was instead put on the phone with a service associate (NOT THE MANAGER) who sounded remarkably like the snippy girl form Saturday. It was all very unprofessional and an unpleasant costumer service experience. I have already called the Dover dealership, who was super friendly and plan on using them instead.

Hertrich refused to give me the title and advised they have to do the DMV work themselves, 3.5 months later and still no title, registration or tags for a vehicle I paid in full on day 1. Went to purchase a new 2020 Hyundai sonata sel. Luis made a appointment told me to come in he gave it to be straight up no games. He did not try to talk me down to a lower car model as most sales men do. Luis Met me in the middle with the payments not only that but also it only took me from 11am to 2:25pm to seal the deal and drive off the lot! This guy deserves a hell of a raise he knows what he is doing and I would recommend everyone look for Luis!

It’s taken me a while to post this review because my life has been hectic but I feel like this needs to be said. On June 10, 2020 my daughter and I got into a bad car accident, totaling my car. This is the first time this has happened to me and I had no clue how this process was supposed to work but the staff at Hertrich of New Castle were really comforting and helpful. Sales rep, Luis Ortiz was very knowledgeable, polite, efficient and extremely helpful. I have never dealt with a sales rep as supportive and as genuine as him. His boss, Nick Florio, who did everything in his power to make sure that my previous loan would be taken care of by my GAP insurance and total loss check from my car insurance, was especially appreciated. Usually dealerships want the customer to make all the phone calls but Luis and Nick made every phone call known to man to “clear my name” and even to get my car insurance switched over to my new car. The finance manager, Trish, made signing paper work easy and fun as well! All in all, I would have to say that Hertrich of New Castle has a great team. I felt safe and very tell taken care of! Highly recommend!

This place is awesome. Me and my mom dont know anything about cars. We were a bit overwhelmed about how to go about buying a new car but Hertrich came to save the day. Luis Ortiz, a sales consultant, helped my mom to get the right car for her. Mr. Ortiz took his time to clarify things we were not sure about and even things we were not aware of. Review Updated on 9/2/2020I have updated my review to reflect the outstanding job Jeff the service manager has done to fix my issues. Upon learning of the problems Jeff looked over my account and realized that my extended warranty was not in their system. He went above and beyond to figure out why these repairs were not covered and he helped me find out that my warranty was actually through Fidelity not Hyundai like I thought. He got this info by contacting the dealership I bought my car from and went above and beyond to get to the heart of the issue and I appreciate him doing that. The staff at this location is always friendly and professional and Jeff worked really hard to make sure I was taken care of. Having a manager like Jeff on staff to fix issues when they occur is very important and he did a great job of resolving the issues I had.

When i tell them about it, they denied, well i have cameras at home shows my car didn’t have any scratching at the morning time before 30min when i be there! Cecil in the Service Dept is the best. My engine was shot on my 2013 Hyundai Sonata. I tried another Hyundai dealership and was turned away. With just moving from Colorado the day before and having to sell my car, I needed to find a vehicle quickly and within budget. After being disappointed visiting two dealerships before this one we thought we were losing hope. Then we met Luis Ortiz! He was amazing, patient (I’m a picky person and he hung in there), and kind. He worked with us for a couple of hours and listened to our needs and what I was looking for. He helped me lease a brand new 2020 Tucson within my budget and I could not be more grateful. He even recommend an excellent Mexican restaurant to eat at as he knew we were new to the area. Lets start back in april in the middle of a shut down pandemic my mother and I thought it would be a good idea to get new cars ! So of course hyundai is our fav and we are both previous owners of one so thats where we went! Luis helped us and got us both in what we asked for!!!! Howeverrrrr my mom was so set on getting a new kona so for her birthday (6mths later) she went back to luis and he got her a brand new kona! Everything she could ask for! I had a quirky issue with my Elantra that I bought two years ago. Nice car, but we just couldnt figure out this odd issue(trunk opening when in park;car horn alarm going off when it wanted to.) Everyone in the service department was nice and professional. Michelle and Jeff helped me. Jeff, the service manager, reset my key fobb and there was a recall on the electrical board to get an upgrade so I had that done. Anyway, and Brian who sold me the car is always there working hard selling cars and hes good at it. Good place.

Turned in my lease 2 months early with the clear intent to get into a new leased vehicle. I was told that final 2 payments would be covered with new deal, and I ended up getting stuck making the last 2 payments because they left it out of the contract.Review update to 4 stars from 2. Effort was made by management to reconcile the miscommunication. Much appreciated, thus the bump to 4 stars. I recently received a check in the mail from the dealership repaying me for 1 of the 2 last payments owed. Bump to 5 stars if they repaid me for both months as initially discussed.REVIEW UPDATE:4 STARS TO 5. I appreciate the goodwill gesture to honor the integrity of the initial discussions regarding my lease negotiation. Hertrich Hyndai has repaid me for the final 2 months of my previous lease contract. My first visit there was impressive. Got a same day appointment for a minor repair and was in and out in 15 min. Service manager was professional, courteous, and very kind. Will definitely return for regular maintenance and repair. 5⭐Update: two visits after my first I took away a star. Needed a/c repair and I guess its common practice, but $140 to diagnose and re-charge, but theres no real answer except theres a leak. They told me it couldnt be fixed until it stopped working again. ??? Fortunately, it lasted the summer, but if its a slow leak and doesnt work next summer, what then? Same process?Also a few days later I realized the windshield wiper fluid isnt working. The motor works, but no fluid comes out. They cant just fix it they have to diagnose first for $79, then charge for repairs. Really? It could just be a cracked or loose hose.🤨

I purchased my new 2019 Sonata in late March 2019 with the help of George, John and Shelley. Everything was as promised in my advance phone call with George and I was pleased with the pricing and trade-in offered on my 2011 Sonata.I havent needed service yet but I want to share my appreciation for special assistance on two occasions. In April, I needed help installing a Sirius XM Radio kit in the car and, though it was not Hertrichs obligation to do so, John was more than willing to install it for me. He did it right away and perfectly! More recently, this week, when I needed the kit removed, Brian Stanton was kind enough to do the honors--and in record time!Also, the waiting room is spacious, light, clean and comfortable, with free coffee.Thanks again, George, Shelley, Brian and John!

Going to Hertrich Hyundai isnt like that for me. Service Specialist, Charles Santana was ready, professional, pleasant and he patiently explained what would be done to my Sonata that day. Before I could get in the door she greeted me with a smile and a very pleasant Good morning Ms. Jones. But the icing on the cake was at the end of my service visit. I am an owner of a Mitsubishi vehicle. I received a couple of recall letters concerning my car, so I made an appointment to have it checked out/taken care of. The appointment setter on the phone was helpful, setting my appointment and offering a complimentary car wash and standard inspection. She told me that my car will be serviced at the Hyundai building. When I arrived to this location (on time), right off the bat, the gentleman I was working with (Ill refer to as gentleman #1) took his time to have my car addressed...which is fine. I understand that people can be a bit busy and preoccupied in these dealerships, so I patiently waited for him to approach me after being introduced to him by the greeter.The guy (gentleman #1) finally inspects the exterior of my car, has the car taken to the back of the building, etc. I patiently wait a couple hours as my car is being serviced. After a couple hours, I notice that someone is driving my car to the front of the building, freshly washed. The person who drove my car to the front walked through the front doors into the building with my car keys in his hands, proceeded to walked past me and into the staff office where he placed my keys on top of the counter where gentleman #1 was residing. My keys were literally in front of gentleman #1. It was pretty clear that my car service was complete. However, I decided to wait like a civilized human being for gentleman #1 to come over to me and hand me my belongings. So I wait. I wait 5 minutes. No one comes over to me. So I wait some more. I wait 15 minutes. Still no one shows up. I wait and I wait and I wait. I ENDED UP WAITING FOR AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES. I like to consider myself to be a pretty patient person, but after waiting for so long, my patience was running out especially when I can clearly see my car out the front window ready to go. Finally, I approach a woman working in the building and asked her if my car was ready. She asked me for my name, asked me to sign a slip of paper, and handed me my keys, and I was out the door, all within 10 SECONDS of approaching her. What in the world???? Meanwhile, gentleman #1 is at his desk trying his best to look occupied. And on top of all the unnecessary waiting, those people never even performed the complimentary standard inspection. What a waste of time. I never really write reviews, but I think that this experience is worth noting. Im definitely taking my vehicle elsewhere to be serviced when the next opportunity makes itself available.

They lovely people of Hertrich Hyundai were very kind and courteous but I went there for a promotion today. They sent out these flyers with lottery tickets. Match the images and win! So I just happen to have a winning ticket. The matching images were next to a $2.5K prize. I said to myself this is a gimmick and there is no way a car dealership is going to let me when money without some kinda catch so I called them up and talked to Nick. He said it is no gimmick. If you won, you can do whatever you want with the money. Registered the confirmation number online and All it said was congratulations, you are a winner. Went into work late this morning because I really need the money to pay for my class that starts in July. Of course, its a trick. As soon as they saw we were already in a brand new car, they said We aint even going to waste your time There was no money, just a $25 gift card to restaurants that no one goes to. Moral of the story: Car dealers will tell you anything to get you in their building so they can just tell you a bunch of lies. If I would of got that 2.5K, I would of used half for school and the other half on a car from there. What they didnt know was that we were riding a rental and looking for a new car. Their Lost! I always reward honesty! but overall, I will say they were very nice.

Bought a 2019 tuscon from them within the last 6 months and the buy process was just okay, management was nice but its overall a typical. New car dealership in terms of what to expectFast forward to now, having to use the service department for the 1st time (havent even had an oil change yet!) and even with being told during the sale process any issues, losses, faults, ANYTHING within the 1st year - theyll cover as their guarantee. I was successfully lied to and Im now paying OVER $300 for a key fob to my car thats essentially useless without it since its push to start.Beware of what these sales people tell you to get you into a car and take your money.

I was very impressed with Service Adviser Cecil Wilson/935. I found himpersonable, informative and overall a real nice guy. And I am sure he will bea credit to your service dept. Your other Service Advisers have not been as nice as he has.Finally he is the nices of all the other Service Advisers, I have delt with, inyour Service Dept.And for someone who has only been there a few weeksand you may wonder how I can write such a glowing comment. My boyfriend came here for an interview and unfortunately they werent expecting him to look the way he did. Sadly, he heard remarks outside of his interview area that they werent expecting him to look like that. To make it worse, instead of interviewing him they immediately started picking away at his resume starting with the problem is.... Nothing positive. But he came for an interview based on his resume so why would you even schedule an interview just to pick away at someones resume? Because the resume was fine until they saw who walked in. Sad. Its not a good feeling when someone is judging you based on your looks but it was all good when they saw his name on paper. I guess the face did not match the name and for that reason the resume was no longer good enough. My boyfriend was crushed when he left there. I hope a supervisor and/or manager reviews this and re-evaluates the individual doing the hiring. I wanted to go through with filing a complaint but my boyfriend did not want to. I wish the best of luck to anyone applying here in the future and that they do not go through the same thing.

I just bought a car at Hertrich!!! And it was one of best experience I have ever had at any car dealership! HERB was are my salesmen and he went above and beyond over and over again to make sure I had exactly what I wanted in the price range that I wanted it. Not once did I feel pressured to buy something I didnt want. Instead I was given time and space with constant guidance to find exactly what I wanted and needed for my family. So much so is there customer service that it extends way beyond the moment you sign the dotted line. There service staff is impeccable and affordable and I no longer trust my car to anyone else!!!! Hertrich team is the way to go if you want excellent service, with a great professional attitude and still have a personal experience. And I suggest HERB for all your sales needs.

My 2011 Hyundai Elantra was brought to Hertrich and lots of work needed to be done. Once it was assessed Service Representative (Megan) helped us sort through the repairs suggested by the service dept. I think we basically had just about everything they suggested done. We had the work done and were pleased with the repairs, however we had to bring it back for another look which the Service Manager (Jeff) became personally involved with to make sure the repairs done were to our complete satisfaction. Jeff scheduled us right away, sat down to talk to us about issues and concerns we had and took charge of making sure the repairs that were performed were the ones recommended and that our car was given excellent care. While the car was in the shop I mentioned how to Jeff that some time ago we lost sound from the radio in the car. When we got the car back were convinced the car indeed receive the care it needed and Jeff also took care of the radio without sound. He took care of that as a courtesy for me being a repeat customer which I greatly appreciated. I bring my car to Hertrich because they are fair and conscientious when it comes to your car and Im convinced they take care of your car as if you were a family member. I highly recommend them for service and dont forget their sales department should you go there looking to buy a new car. I feel confident in bringing my car to them and would like to thank Megan and Jeff for making the service experience a great one!
