Creepy old dude...I agree with the woman who wrote about the older guy...He likes to call women sweetie or something like that but with a big creepy smile. There is another young guy there who at first seems really friendly but has the potential to get fresh too given the opportunity and I get a bad vibe from him too. I dont go in there anymore either because the whole place gives me the creeps!

Heres my story......I walked in to the storeAnd saw the two men that was working. Theres a Really nice and respectable man that works @ cumberland farms now re-named Market Place 752 West Basin rdNew Castle, De 19720Hes in school right now/Hes Egyptian. Very Nice Man.So im standing there ready to buy Hot Frys and a pack of Newports.The old man (Z) put his finger across his lips and pointed at the Egyptian Man and said shhhhh! ( he didnt want the Egyptian man to hear what he was about to ask me. He motioned with his hand.. I want to see you, i want your number. So he kept looking over at the other guy.He was trying to find a piece of paper and a pen.Even tho its Not like he grabbed my butt or pulled me to the side. Its the Principal & total disrespect!Im Married, he has seen me and my Husband in the gas station and that didnt even matter to him.While we ( the manager & myself ) confronted Z about incident he turned Bright Red,but in the same breath he said i misunderstood him. The lord knows,he knows and i know he was lyingIts Sad because.....I really liked the woman and men who worked there. Until this 70+ year old man started working there. This old pervert harassed me for my phone numberI told the owner, my husband talked to the owner, he was gone for a couple of days now hes back behind the Cash register.If your a woman Dont go in that store alone. Take somebody in their with you, bc theres a chance you could be harassed by this old man. Now my mission to tell his Wife. I want to fill her in on How Her HUSBAND ACTS WHILE HE IS AT WORK(CUMBERLAND FARMS(752 WEST BASIN RDNEW CASTLE,DE 19720)NOW THE NAME HAS BEEN CHANGED TO....MARKET PLACE.VERY UNHAPPY WITH THESE RESULTS OF THIS HARASSMENT COMPLAINT.IF this happens to you, Tell the manager, and write a REVIEW.Ive told everyone around the neighborhood, my friends and my familyWe Will NOT GIVE THAT STORE/GAS STATION our BUSINESS ( if he is still employed there.I will take this REVIEW DOWN ONCE THAT PERVERTED MAN IS LET GO,FIRED,REMOVED FROM THAT STORE.I Should Be able to go to the Gas station/corner store with out this man making me feel VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.I Should be able to shop in the store without being looked up and down and HAVE TO shut down advances from a man old enough to be MY Dad / Grandfather.I Felt EVEN MORE UNCOMFORTABLE WHEN I WALKED IN THERE A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO TO GET A COUPLE OF THINGS.When i saw him standing there with a GRIN / SMIRK on his face ( I WALKED OUT AND TOLD MY HUSBAND TO GO IN THERE. I knew right then and there that I was NOT Going to Spend my money in that store Ever Again( IF HE STILL WORKS THERE.)Total disrespect. Im surely not going to go somewhere, and shop when i was Disrespected.( it didnt even matter to the old man that Im married. Everyone in that gas staion has seen, has met my Husband. Complete Disrespect!In the beginning i spoke to the owner and the old man (Z)The old man (Z) said i was confused, i misunderstood him. Now im 39 years old and i know what he said and how he said it.Its a shame that the Old Man Z MADE THEM LOOSE Business.If i dont see the old mans car out there,i will still go in there with my husband.The other people who work there are always pleasant, I WILL NOT spend money there if that old man Z is behind the counter.I BELIEVE HE DRIVES THE WHITE CAR OR THE MINI VAN THATS ALWAYS PARKED ON THE SIDE OF THE STORE.JUST BE CAREFUL.
