This small, family-owned donut shop has been a staple of New Castle for decades. While you occasionally get someone serving who hasnt had the best of days, most of the time everyone is friendly and helpful. The donuts are truly delicious.

Donuts are good, However when your paying with a card. They want you to spend $5.00. Now that’s only an issue because when I go there. I only want to buy 1 or 2 donuts. But for $5.00, I can get a half dozen. So unless your willing to get a half dozen or a larger quantity. Don’t bother paying with a card. Otherwise, I have no complaints about this business. As it was around for a very long time. The donuts are also great.

Mays is closed until July 7th, not sure when the location on the east side is opening

Like the donuts . However they need to learn what it means when a customer orders a dozen of Assorted donuts. The lady that did my order gave me 5 of the same glazed donuts and the rest were powdered and plain.

I went to Mays donut shop on butler st and I loved it! The coffee was amazing, just what I needed. Peggy, who worked there, was the sweetest and kindest person I enjoyed talking with her very much !

Donuts were just okay. I went to both locations in New Castle and both ladies were not great at customer service. First location on Wilmington the lady was in the back and acted like I was imposing on her day. She also kept putting the wrong donuts in the box. The other location the lady was just not personable.

Fried cinnamon twist, do I need to say anything else!! Always make a special trip from Y-Town for Mays donuts!

Had trouble finding them BUT VERY glad we did.. BEST donut I have had in a long time.. Need to update locations to 2406 Wilmington and 1214 (not 1225) Butler..

Donuts were good but customer service was terrible. Not friendly at all, not helpful. felt uncomfortable due to the fact that I’ve never been there, and wasn’t sure what flavor some of the donuts were and lady was snarky with answers.

Best donuts in the state. Excellent texture, smooth creme, and many flavors. I wish they would set the example and bring there prices down a little.
