Went here at a last minute spur and Im glad we did! We went for the corgi fest. We got a tent site with water and electricity. It was $45 total.Definitely would go back. Its a beautiful place. They have a pool, a laundry mat, showers, and even a game room in the basement of the building of the office (its a old church) 5 out of 5 stars if you ask me
It was my 1st time camping there! It was the best campground Ive ever camped at in Pennsylvania! The owners & Family, and the Employees are the most friendly and kind people you can ever meet! There is so many different things for not only couples to get away but also for Families & children, and even pets to do there! On the weekends they have events which is so nice every weekend! I recommend anyone camping here anytime you will not be at all disapointed!!!!💜
Edit: We had an awesome labor day weekend here!! This was our first time and Ill say, it wont be our last! The Wrangler Band was here Sunday night and put on an awesome show as well!Very nice campground. The sites up top are very close together. Sites down below are very nice sized and more private. Pool is beautiful, playgrounds are nice and staff is very kind. The young man who was the lifeguard at the pool was waaaay too serious about his job. Kids didnt wanna stay too much longer one day because they couldnt do anything without getting yelled at. We really enjoyed ourselves otherwise and will return next season.
I cant say enough good things about this place. Granted, I have never camped here....not yet. But my 6 year old son and I drive 1 hour and 15 minutes (each way) just to use their pool. It sounds crazy but, this place makes us feel comfortable. Its safe for my son to swim because literally the whole half side of the pool is extremely shallow. My son feels like a big boy that he can roam about half the pool on his own. Plus its not overcrowded like other places with pools, and every person Ive ever met here is super friendly and kind!! Wouldnt swim anywhere else honestly.
Love this place! Great campground the owners are kind and have always shown us a great time when we visited. My family likes the pool and relaxing atmosphere. Never had any issues with the campsites being close together I feel like a lot of the negative reviews are from people who didn’t bother to research or talk with the staff prior.
Took my grandkids camping. We rented a yurt and it was fantastic! I grew up tent camping but I loved the glamping of the yurt. Lots of events to do. We played bingo, kids played in a foaming shower, we spent hours in the pool and Saturday night there was a night swim with a DJ. Staff was very kind and helpful. I cant wait to stay again.
I went to the Rose Point Park campground thinking that I was going to have nature retreat with my girlfriend. Unfortunately once I arrived, I realized the place is literally just a campground rather than a camp and it was packed full of people. The yurts are within such close proximity of one another that there is only about 15-20 between yours and your neighbors. Also, their alleged nature trails are only about a mile in length and any attempts to traverse further was halted due to posted and residential areas. I will never visit this place again.
Very courteous. Nice camp ground...will definitely be going back
Went there for the ECSC. The park was beautiful! They had a pool and the staff that work there are amazing! I didnt get to camp there but the 40 hours i spent there it was quiet and everyone seemed very friendly. Cant wait to go back next year!
Perfect last minute get away. Campground with a pool! Kids and I both loved it.
Very nice venue. Clean, walkable, attractive, lots of things to do. And pet friendly!
Really nice campground just wish we had been notified ahead of time that the bathrooms wouldnt be done in time for our stay. Or maybe given more of a discount because of the lack of close bathrooms? They did offer a different site, but we wanted to be close to my parents site as well.
Convenient camping place if you are padding Slippery Rock Creek. Frequently used access is right there.
Rose point park is very calm and if you like nature then come to rose point park. The staff employees and campers were really nice.
Very accommodating staff and very well maintained facility ! If you need a weekend getaway this is a great place to do so !
Been camping here since I was a kid. The owners are friendly. The store is overpriced, but convenient if you forget anything. The regular campers that have permanent spots are all very friendly. Nice little community.
Great place. Great staff. Very relaxing with plenty to do.
Lived around this area my whole life. It is a beautiful area. Great for fishing and beautiful scenery and even kayaking or tubing.
Wonderful place...thank u for having ECSC at ur park!
Our second time there. Will keep going back. Park is beautiful with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing weekend!
Cabin was clean. Campground seemed very friendly and helpful.
Nice place. Camps are spread apart and have some shade. Owner was nice and knowledgeable. Store is full of stuff!
Great place! Lots for the kids to do!
The best campground I have ever stayed...clean, many amenities, very friendly & helpful staff, close to 3 state parks (within 5 miles), close to a nice animal park (Living Treasures) & shopping, etc. Cannot recommend Rose Point Park enough!!
Could I say that the sky is bluer; the trees, greener and the stars, brighter... actually yes, yes and yes. I found myself staying at the park after an unexpected job change, so my needs were more pragmatic than most. But over last several months, I saw time and time again what a great RV park this is. The owners are kind, and the location is beautiful. The park has tons of things for families to use along with unique activities based on the season. I would definitely recommend Rose Point Park whenever you are in the area.
It being off-season we werent able to take advantage of amenities like the pool, but our site was fine, clean upon arrival. The camp store was well-stocked, clean, and staff helpful. They had an excellent selection of parts for campers. My dog very much enjoyed his first camping trip. One issue was the stores firewood was not dried well. The bundling company claims its kiln dried, but I seriously question that. I live nearby in New Castle and I will definitely recommend for visiting friends and family in the future.
Family operated well maintained friendly.
Very very good place to go camping with friends and family
We like it we had fun there
This is a wonderful place for camping. My husband and I have been here twice and will continue to come back. The grounds are kept clean. The large pool is so relaxing, the camp store is nice and convenient. The dog enclosure is great for your fur babies. The owners and visitors have all been very friendly.
Great campground. Very well maintained.
Great little cabins! Staff was very friendly and accommodating, they let us come in after hours to the cabin and helped us to our spot when we got there. Definitely worth the visit if youre at mines and meadows at park
Very small campground. It is clean, quiet and quaint. There is not much to do for the little ones besides the pool. Their website depicts activities, but they are sparse. When there was bingo, we went an hour early to get cards and were told they sold put. Having paid so much to stay there and this being the first activity in six days, one would think they would plan multiple games and have a sign-up so everyone could participate. There was no statement about limited availability. Im assuming the permanent site owners knew this and got their tickets. It would be a nice campground for older individuals not looking for anything besides a quiet clean campground with friendly staff.
Always nice being at Rose Point . Cant wait to camp next month.
They had a blues band and BBQ the weekend I was camping. They also have other fun activities and a mini golf.Very family friendly. I would of given 4 stars but the place is just way over crowded.
Great service and friendly place... the owners are great! Their cabin was awesome ! You should rent their cabin soon. Great environment!...
Wonderful place to camp. Beautiful area
Great for the entire family. Plenty to do we loved the dog playground. Full hookups. Will be back!
Great place. Some sites are a little tight and the bathrooms and showers can use some modernization and updating. Even with that being said, we look forward to coming back again.
Love this place. I have been going there for the last 10 yrs. The owners are amazing and the activities for kids are great.
Children and dog friendly.Very clean. Nice camp store and Fun family activities. Just beware of golf carts.
Nice campground, well kept. Great wifi on our spot!! Much better than other campgrounds weve visited
Very nice cabin to get away for a weekend. Was able to bring our dogs.
Nice campground. We were greeted and everyone was very helpful.
The customer service was terrible. I tried reserving two tent sites for my friends and I and the woman on the phone was short with me although she communicated that they had space. I lost the call and tried to call back (before they were closed) and she did not answer.
Very accommodating staff. Nice grounds. Sites are pretty close together but room on at least one side to enjoy a campfire and not be too close to your neighbors site. Nice pool and amenities. Very dog friendly with a nice size fenced in pet area with some agility like toys for the dogs.
Great playground... Room to ride bikes... Catch and release pond... Trails nearby
Very nice campground. Nice clean well stocked store. Price for 2 nights 100.00. Thumbs up.
This is an awesome campground with lots to do. They have plenty of amenities available and friendly staff. Other campers seemed to be relaxed and friendly too. It is situated between two awesome parks, Moraine State Park and McConnells Mills. Both provide opportunities for recreational activities like hiking, fishing, kayaking, and boating. There is also a harley store on the same road that occasionally hosts events.
Not a lot of woods where the hook up sites are so it didnt quite feel like camping to me. I like woods and ponds personally all around me to get that true feel of camp. They are pretty close to McConnell Mills and Slippery Rock Creek-both fun places to explore while youre there. The restrooms leave a lot a lot to be desired as the hot water in the shower didnt last long at all for my shower and the water in the sink sprays out in such a way that its difficult to wash your hands or anything without getting yourself wet. Smaller campground but would be a nice place for those with younger children as they did have a lot of things for the younger kids and there is an inground pool too which was nice. Over all it wasnt a bad place to camp but I just prefer other camp sites.
Good place to camp.RV Spots are roomier than years past. Those with slide outs now have more room to open without taking over the neighbors spot. The spots have gravel and appear to have newer service lines at the posts. If you are new to RV ing this is a super friendly place to start as they will help you.for a nominal fee they will even park your RV.One thing to note... This is a dog friendly campground. I for one like dogs a lot... But for non dog lovers be sure to ask before booking a spot if your neighbors will be bringing dogs. The RVs with dogs out number those without currently. All well behaved but worth mentioning for those scared of pets.Otherwise, masks are in use and social distancing is a thing. The pool is open. The laundry is not.The store is open but number of people inside is limited to 8.Rest rooms Im not certain, as I have one with me.Anything else you might be wondering you might want to call them.
Rented a Yurt for the weekend. It was very clean, and we stayed dry during a heavy rain. The shower got nice and hot, and the dish network TV was a nice perk. The living room couch and chair was not the most comfortable, we would have liked a place to lay our heads back. We liked that kitchen and cooking utensils were provided but found it odd that we didnt have a cooking source other than an outside grill and a microwave. We incorrectly assumed there would be an stove of some kind. Our biggest complaint was the area leading up to the Yurt was all grass. During our rainy weekend we had no traction in our car and the driveway ended up being a muddy mess. By our departure day we had to park along the road to pack up our vehicle. Some gravel in this area is desperately needed. This is a very family friendly location with lots of fun activities for the kids. We would like to make a return trip in the future.
People were friendly... entertainment was good...didnt like that there were no seats around pool. We stayed in a yurt...was clean and all but my gosh it was like an oven in there!
Have gone here with a group four times. Love this campground. Nice large sites, beautiful cabins, friendly owners and staff! Very accommodating! We will be back! I would just like to see an outlet in the main building bathroom for hairdryer. Theres one on the ceiling for the exhaust fan, its too high to reach. Theres lots to do in the area also!
Rose Point Park Campground is a great place. The owners are very accommodating. We found that we needed to extend our stay as well as have our RV put in storage for a few days. They were extremely helpful to the extent of moving our unit in and out of storage to help us. Their sites were very clean and it is clear that they play close attention to maintaining the facilities. They have very fun activities on the weekends and the campground is very family friendly. This will be our go to place when we are in the area.
Family and pet friendly, with lots to do!! Trick or treat, DJ, bingo, fishing, disc golf, food truck, etc...
I love rose point park. The feel and atmosphere is laid back, the rest of the world stops when I am there and i get to simply enjoy myself, the cabins are well maintained and the staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay a great one. I go there once a year every year for the last 4 years
The staff are quite accommodating and friendly. The area was very safe and quite affordable. With that being said, this site is primarily year-round RV and Camper sites. Their tent camping spaces are quite crowded and close to the other types of campers. This definitely isn’t the place to go if you want a more traditional camping experience.
Neat park but dated.Nice office and store with decent prices and selection with clean restrooms.Dated arcade in the basement that looks like it does not get much attention.Large playground, nice gaga pit.Clean and warm pool with ample seating (sun and shaded). Pool has areas for all ages.Bathhouse is dated.Nice catch and release pond.Friendly staff. Can walk to nearby mini golf and ice cream.Close drive to zoo, McConnels Mills and Moraine state parks.Decent WiFi
Horrible pond and you’re only allowed to fish is an area that’s about 1 tenth of the whole pond, and the area you can fish you can see the entire way to the bottom and there are no fish there but the entire 3 hours I fished there I didn’t see a single fish. Nobody ever fishes their either, probably because they know how garbage the pond is.
We have had a campsite here since 2003. I have some of my fondest childhood memories about Rose Point. I basically grew up here. The environment is so welcoming and friendly. The weekend activities are always inventive and enjoyable. Debbie and Rick so such a great job of engaging their campers. Its a fantastic place to relax!Plus, the location is not too far from other great places to visit. Moraine State Park, McConnells Mills, the Slippery Rock Creek, Butler, New Castle, Living Treasures, and the Grove City Outlets are all just a short drive away.
All I can say is WOW! This is a family owned campground. They really take pride in this place. WiFi worked great. Laundry facilities great. I did not need the shower house but did swing into take a look. That also was very clean and updated. If you have little ones they have a nice kids park. There is a 4x4 truck made out of wood with slide coming out tailgate that is a must see. The owners were great personable people. You could tell they truly wanted your stay to be comfortable. It was southern hospitality in the north. Their daughter and son in law were there at all hours to help you. They have a site manager that was a busy body. He was always busy. If you have dogs they have a fabulous dog park. We travel due to my husbands work. We only got to stay for 3 weeks. I was sad to leave. Phone service worked great. We had a phone booster and had no problems making and receiving calls. I hope we get to come back to the area. I would stay again for sure. Happy travels and be safe.
This place is beautiful! Clean and well maintained. Lots of activities. The tent camping is the best Ive ever experienced! The spots are fairly level and grass covered. No sharp rocks in my back 😀
Packed in like sardines! Camper next to us sewer line ran onto our side to our outside rug! Hilly too! Pool was nice, small so packed there too! Nice permanent sites out back but transient campers.....all on hill! Would not return.
People were so friendly and kind!Has great water pressure for showering! They have a fun filled calender of events! A pool and laundry mat on site very accomodating 🎉🎊
It was the only campground open year round and we needed a quick spot to camp in for the night. We pulled in after hours but we found a pull through site easy enough. We were driving a large motor home towing a car. The campground looks really big and they had a few playgrounds that I saw. It looked like it would be a fun place to camp during the summer months. We campedd during the winter so everything was covered in snow but it looked nice. Bathrooms were clean and had hot water. If were in the area well definitely go back.
This Campground is very clean and beautifully laid out. The staff was amazing, when we arrived they were organized and actually had someone at our site to help us into the site. Great folks, great atmosphere, and just a great place to sit back and relax.
My family and I had a wonderful several days there in one of the cabins. Such a nice park, great cabin, lots of fun for the youngsters, good and helpful people running things. I hope to come back someday.
Excellent
The company turns family’s away. Not very pleasant. Please stop supporting these type of business
Very nice campground. There is a very well stocked campstore, heated pool, nice playground, basketball, and volleyball court. There is trout fishing right here and plenty of places to explore. The town has a lot of nice attractions and good local beer selections. The sites are on the small side and difficult to get backed into with a full-size dually and bumper pull camper but dont let that deter you. The staff come right out and assist with set up. They have lots of scheduled activities on the weekend and during the week it us generally quiet and relaxed.
Very clean quiet for the most part. Well stocked store rest rooms a little dated but always very clean. Friendly staff only reason i gave 4 and not a 5 is the spaces are narrow. Weve been there twice and are going back at least two more times this year.
Great place to camp very nice campground the owners are very friendly and helpful a lot of things for the kids to participate in and adults as well will be back next year
THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! THERE ARE BUGS IN THE CABIN AND ROACHES AND BED BUGS!WARNING NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!! WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND!!
Overall this was a nice campground. We stayed for 2 days. I did feel a little anxious about my dog, they told me if she barks we can get kicked out... While shes not a dog that barks much, she does bark when another dog walks by, or she wants to come in. This put me off a little bit. Other than that, it was very nice. You get a card to get in and out of the gate, which makes you feel very safe. They have a dog park, and a few other accommodations for families with kids. We would go back again.
Campsites were ridiculously tight. No room near your campsite for kids to play. Barely any room for a bonfire. Owners unwilling to handle kids saying the F word and other foul language at the pool in front of plenty of children ranging from 6 and under. I was told by the owner to ignore it while the offenders were yelling foul things at me with these small kids present. Great handling your business owners.
This was our 2nd visit it rained most of the time but we still had a great stay! They did a search rescue with dogs that was great and we got meet new people. Thanks
Great private camp ground. Been going there for more than 20 yrs. Great spot close to the river if you are a boater/kayaker.
Very nice facilities with very nice people. The campground seem super kid friendly, and they had a very convenient store for all your needs.
We went to the pool, gift shop and arcade. Fun day for the kids and a relaxing day for is parents. Staff is always friendly.
Not a bad campground. Zero cell phone coverage if in the cabins. Nice people running the place. Easy access to interstate.
Beautiful setting. Close to state parks. Do have some camp activities, especially on weekends. Will use again if in the area.
We have been coming here for 30 plus years love it every one is plesent and clean cabin 🤩🤩
Really nice, clean campground. Staff is very nice. The pool is big and clean. It isnt a flat campground but thats what makes it nice.
Nice campground plenty to do awesome service 👍 the only thing I wish was the pull through sites were bigger other than that I recommend this place and definitely would stay here again in the future
Very small campground for traveling campers but has a lot of year round campers. Workers were very pleasant and it is a nice place to visit. Has a playground and swimming pool
I have never camped here but use their property to access Creek. Ive only ever had positive interactions with staff or campers.
Very family friendly! Great people! Very nice campground! I highly recommend this campground!
Its nice but its packed and hard to park and not a lot of land. But I has a great play ground and basketball court and a swimming pool
Very nice, friendly people run the place
Stayed in a yurt was very nice has everything you need for comfortable camping. Has no stove but there is a charcoal grill
Staff very rude
Really clean and nice staff. Cool little dog area too.
This has been a wonderful place to stay. We have been here for the winter and the staff has been very helpful and accommodating. They have onsite propane filling station, laundry, and camp/souvenir store. Clean restrooms and showers if you need them. There are playgrounds and a pool.
A lot of fun. Everything is clean and well maintained - cabins, camping area and restrooms. The people in the shop are really friendly and helpful.
