Didnt have any of what I was looking for. Kind of a dirty, run down place. Have to bring your own bags, or buy theirs, and then pack your own groceries.

To be clear, this review is for the Butler Ave. location. Good store that has (mostly) pretty good prices on a pretty wide variety of products. The store is a little outdated, especially compared to the one on Wilmington Rd., and you also have to bag your own groceries, unlike the Wilmington Rd. location, but I dont mind. It seems they dont care as much for the Butler Ave. location or its patrons, and Im pretty sure I know why, which, if Im correct, is pretty sad. But this store has very friendly employees and they do have good prices on most things so I feel it deserves a lot of credit. I shop there often.

Being a retail store manager, I appreciate a well ran store. I shop at the New Castle, PA store about once a week and I live in Boardman, Ohio. Your store is always very well stocked and organized and I always find what I need! I never wait very long at the checkout and the cashiers are always so pleasant. I also want to point out the greeter/shopping cart guy is extremely friendly and helpful. I actually asked him for his name tonight to include in my review. His name was James. You should be very proud of your employees! I always look forward to your store.

This store is ok. I only shop here for name brand items and their prices are really good.

Friendly and helpful workers, clean and organized store, great selection of different types of products. Fresh and reasonable produce, nice selection of meats and cheeses, breads and desserts, frozen foods and refrigerated products are a nice variety of different foods.

After the loss of an employee, Save a Lot closed for the day. Meat if fairly priced. Dairy and shelf prices are too high for the average local shopper.

They always have a nice, bountiful produce department with such great selection. And I am always greeted warmly by a staff member at the check-out.

Save a lot is great in my opinion. Not only because you can be in and out but because of their prices. I can fill a buggy for $100. That and their off brands are comparable to name brands. Great!

Save a lot is an off brand, private label grocery store. Decent selection, and quality on most items is good. Prices are generally below the larger name grocery stores .

Ok I guess I like the prices and products but the staff/management is much to be desired.

Save-A-Lot can save you a lot of money you just have to be careful which kind of items you purchased I think their Seafood isnt that great

This place is an inexpensive place to get quality items. I do 90% of my food shopping here. There are limits on the amount of items sometimes, but other than that this place is amazing.

The Butler Road store is super friendly. A neighborhood store that is truly a part of the community. They take a genuine interest in the customers. We consider them friends, the highest praise I can give for a local business.

Low prices on grocery of good quality. You have to bag (small charge for bags) or box (free boxes in-store) your own groceries but definitely worth it!!!

Decent place if you dont mind off brand groceries. Staff is courteous. Bring your own bags if you dont plan to purchase them.

Discount grocery store. I buy a lot of their brands sold here and they also sell name brand goods at discount prices. I save a lot of money from shopping here compared to big grocery stores in my area. On average I save about 50% when I shop here. They always have fresh produce at really cheap prices.

I love this store, they have a little cart in produce they put everything in it from the following week when they put new produce following week period everything is $0.99

My stepfather entered the store and was just grabbing a couple small things. This security guard was super rude and aggressively comes up to him to take his stuff to the front of the store to check out. My stepfather didnt know what was going on. Apparently the store was closing and he didnt realize it. I get it. The store is closing. But make an announcement or say oh hey man we are closing up, can you come up to the front and check out please?TL:DRSuper rude security guard needs to learn what customer service is.

Its nice, the setup is weird though. The first checkout is so close to the front door, you sort of block it when youre checking out.
