Quaint little ice cream shop. The prices are a little high, but they do give large portions. We ordered a banana split which was very good and big. Also got some shaved ice deserts and a cookies and cream ice cream. Everything was good and the server took a lot of pride in his work. Everything looked just like the pictures and he was courteous.

My favorite place to stop every Thursday for hand dipped ice cream. So delicious. The person who wait on me on Thursdays is amazing, she is very friendly and so helpful. She is the best! She is the one with the pink hair, so beautiful! Love Scoops ice cream!

Portions are huge, prices are pretty great and the staff is so friendly. Two you g ladies helped me carry the ice-cream to my car when I was there with my toddler. I cannot thank them enough! PLEASE TIP THESE WONDERFUL LADIES NEXT TIME YOU ARE THERE.

I’ve visited a creamery up north. I wasn’t impressed. I’ve been going to Scoops often. Excellent taste! Almost reminds me of when I was a kid. My wife and I come here twice a week. Cake cone with Vanilla soft serve and chocolate sprinkles and a waffle cone for me. I love this place!!

How do you not love going to a local community ice cream spot. This place is great! Super clean is that place all the time which is comforting. Sundaes and milkshakes are my favorite. Pricing is good. Ive been going there for over 10 years. I think my favorite part is being able to chat with the other people from the community as you wait for your order. Its becoming a true community fixture in the area.

Dont go in evening.ive been during the day, love the hand dipped. Tonight there were 3 people working, there was 1 group of 3 ahead of us and had placed there order we waited 15 mi. A d still no contact. Made eye contact with all 3 but got tired of standing there. Do won. If your ice cream is, and it is good you could sell more if you take an order

I tried the monster cookie something. I probably spelled it worn but the ice cream was superb. The only issue is how the company has their menu set up. It is a little difficult looking for what you want.

Wear a mask. Great food. Real ice cream and soft serve available. Water ice also served. Nice selection of flavors and sundaes. Fair prices.

Not as good as advertised. Few toppings that seem dollar store quality but your charged for mid tier quality. Flavors are not always available and they dont tell you until you order. The flavors themselves seemed fake and half hearted. Though from what I hear it can be better. Perhaps this is just when I went but I would not waste money here again.

Ive lived here for a while and driven by many times without stopping until now. Im happy I did. It was pretty busy this night and the small parking lot was full and spilling over onto the street. All the customers were wearing masks and keeping their distance. The line moved quickly and the selection of flavours available was very good with choices ranging from fruity to the usual chocolate, vanilla, etc. I was in the mood for a milkshake and was rewarded with a good sized, creamy, thick but not too thick shake. This was such a better choice than the drive through at any of the fast food choices. Thanks Scoops! Ill be back for more.

Usually great place. Ordered a sundae & a shake. There were 4 or 5 people working but the sundae was done first & then had to wait for the shake. Only 1 window was open, it want like they were making multiple orders at once. Then I ordered a chocolate malted shake. I got a great chocolate shake but no malt. I started to go back to the window but there was a line by then, so I just drank my shake. Very disappointed this time.

Love living close by we go about once every other week and sometimes more. Just tried their pumpkin flavor over my normal fave and was very happy. They are always friendly and will let you taste a flavor if you arent sure about it.

This place is the absolute best. Like I can’t explain how great it is ! My family and I try to go as much as possible each week. They give you big portions, and a reasonable price. They don’t charge extra for little toppings like extra whipped cream; but other places do, with little portions too!! Scoops never gives me any problems, and every time they give me the best experience ever. The main owners in the house always greet me when they see me, and everyone just makes the experience great! Will forever be my absolute favorite ice cream place.

Great service. Took care of 6 of us from deciding what we wanted to making up our choices, quickly and effectively. Our ice cream snacks were very well made, tasted amazing, and was served with smiles and great fun. We will be back.

Took my little cousins to Scoops and we all loved it! Shirley was extra helpful and brought out wet napkins for the kids to clean their hands and faces. She goes out of her way to make sure customers have a good experience at Scoops. We’ll definitely be back again! The banana foster was to die for!

I was craving for the Tandy cake sundae! They are always awesome! However, tonight I went over to get this Tandy cake sundae but they (3 teenagers) didn’t put the peanut butter sauce on it which I was not happy! I called to complain about it too! The peanut butter sauce is what makes it a Tandy cake sundae! Normally this is the best ice cream & shake shop in all of New Castle, it’s just something this small that’s disappointing!

Not a great first impression. They made customers pay extra for their ice cream tonight.Wanted to treat my (ice cream loving) wife to a cool sweet treat after dinner. Found Scoops online and it seemed perfect.She ordered a vanilla soft serve dipped sugar cone only to be told that the soft serve machine was overheating and out of service. That wasnt so bad because she was satisfied with the (more expensive, I later learned) hand dipped cone.But then I overheard the clerk at the next window telling a customer that the soft serve machine was overheating, so the specialty item hed ordered would cost him a dollar more!!In my (consumer oriented) opinion, the more savvy business move would have been to offer the hand dipped items at the same (or even slightly discounted) price as the (currently unavailable) soft serve treats.Overheated, frustrated patrons might be more inclined to return if they werent being upsold because of an overheated soft serve machine.Just saying.Jimmythesafe

Been going here for 6 years, now the last two time I been here the 2019 season, my orders are not what i ask for, i dont understand. They are kids that wait on you, write down on paper exactly what you ask for then give you want they want. I ask for hand dip last two times and get machine soft serve, two banana splits worth, not to mention you pay extra with hand dipped. My neighbor just took his family there also, and he said his ice cream was melted before he drove across the street to our development, which is why I pay for hand dipped, to last longer. But for two banana splits and one plain cup of vanilla ice cream 17$ some change and a 2$ tip... and get home, take out freezer after dinner, then not what you pay for, is really mest up feeling, wife says go back every time, hell I dont even want to go the first time. But hey, if you catch a adult, or the owner, nice lady, you wont have no problems, but if you give your order to a kid good luck......
