Nothing special. Overpriced but gets the job done for being at Southern.

Positives: Its nice inside.Negatives: Everything is stupidly expensive. For example, I needed to buy a new charging cable and a converter brick. $40 for both of them. What the hell. Dont go here unless you are getting SCSU apparel.

Insanely overpriced for everything from books to pens to t-shirts. You can go on Amazon or go to Walmart and get everything you need at a much better price.Customer service is also lackluster and the checkout line is regularly a 20+ minute wait.Youre required to buy lab manuals from here but besides that, avoid the for-profit SCSU bookstore like the plague.

Southern Connecticut State Universitys Barnes & Noble College Bookstore is quite small and has a limited amount of items to choose from, but for the majority the items they do have/sell are okay. Honestly, the food items are the ONLY items that are sold that are feasible semi inexpensive and within someones budget who is on a budget, EVERYTHING ELSE is outrageously expensive: textbooks, computers, supplies, apparel, etc. Nice, quite, clean atmosphere, staff is helpful and professional for the most part; prices are really the only negative!
