Horrible horrible horribleWhole different staffAll new ppl & new doctorsGot glasses n contacts spent over $300 in contacts just for them to be in my eyes for 2/3 hours and I couldn’t remove them. I literally picked them up at abt 5:00 and at 7:40 I was in the hospital, I Had to go to the emergency room to have them removed. I’m going there today (MyEyeDr) to ask for a full refund. My eyes were dry n vision began getting blurry doctors at the hospital said contacts should never get that stuck to your eye especially within 2/3 hrs. He said it may have been a bad batch n I should request a refund.It was literally stuck on there like a suction cup even while taking it out in the er it look soo suctioned to my eye it was crazy. He gave me a cup with saline and told me to place the contacts inside so I can bring it back n show they eye dr. He said the contacts shouldn’t be stuck together inside of the saline mix, however the contacts were stuck together like a magnet. If they refuse a full refund lawyers may have to be involved this is my eyes that we are talking about. It’s not like they were in my eyes for 24hrs u know ? My eyes still hurt n I can’t focus on objects 100%

I called today 1/11/ at 4:25pm to verify the glasses I ordered were ready that I had to wait one week for. When I called in, I gave my name and told the woman on the phone I was calling to verify that my glasses were ready. The woman put me on hold for 10 minutes after saying simply, holdon. When my call was retrieved I was asked, How can I help you by a woman I never spoke to, and I told her I was placed on hold. Before could tell her why, this woman placed me on hold agian! 5 minutes later another woman picked up the phone and asked me how could she help me. At that point I was very upset at the lack of communication over a simple glasses pickup and told her why I was calling. She finally looked for glasses, spelled my name wrong, but was able to confirm they were ready for pickup. If you are looking for a company who will treat you as an unvalued customer this is the one. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

I had a great experience with the optometrist here, but the sales team is extremely pushy and methodical in ensuring that you buy as much as possible. I bought scratch protection for my lenses, and later when I came back with scratches, they tried to convince me I hadnt. I will return for the OD, but will never buy lenses here again.

I schedule an appointment at this Eye doctors for Friday and I had updated my information because I haven’t been there in a while. Meanwhile when I made my appointment the person put me on hold three times I forgot my name and my date of birth so whoever was working at the time who scheduled my appointment wasn’t being attentive to what he was doing. ( he might’ve even violated HIPA ), but they called someone else to confirm my appointment this then breaks confidentiality and it makes me uncomfortable that things were not done correctly and organized. God for bid they called someone that I didn’t know to talk about me. The person I was talking to one the phone wasn’t being very polite when I call them... so I just cancel my appointment I will not be coming back this the second time I felt threaten at this business, or they mess up the information

I got 2 pairs of glasses at the New Haven office and I love them. I get a lot of compliments on the frames I chose. And the best thing is they were $35.00 each with Groupon. The staff is great. I would highly recommend this location.

Well today I had two appointments with my kids! Was running 15 minutes late for the first one I called complaining I was in traffic I got there both receptionist told me I have to reschedule my appointment for the first one. But I told them I want my kids to have their glasses for school. The manager heard my conversation and step right in. And made sure we was seen today. Great service Stephanie. My both kids walked out happy!!

Lost my prescription sunglasses while traveling and my sister recommended this place to me. It did not disappoint. Dr. Wen is very knowledgeable and professional and the staff are friendly and helpful.

My wife goes here and she loves it this review is from her : I love the doctors and staff there. They have always been so helpful explaining everything. They have a great selection of glasses (it just depends on what your insurance allows, I dont think the one review sayin their selection sucked might not knownthat) this will 100% be the eye Dr I go to from now on

Had a grea experience at the office on Whalley ave! Ruth at the front desk was very sweet and patient with us. Marissa and Dr Nguyen we’re both professional and personable. The woman who checked us out (whose name I missed!) was knowledgable and offered us several options within the parameters of our insurance. Highly recommend this office!

Before it was My eye Doctor it was Opticare. It was much better then. The doctor I saw was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. The check out however is horrendous. Whatever happen to get a copy of your prescription (if you want it) pay and go? I waited almost as long to check out as checking in. Mostly because I think they want the opportunity to sell you glasses even though I had already told them I wasnt buying glasses today.

I had the exact same experience as Pamela Robertson yesterday, felt like I was at a used car lot or one of those timeshare trips. It was much better when it was OptiCare. Dr. Nguyen was very good but they lost me as a customer, taking my eyecare elsewhere.

My contact lenses should have been sent to my home instead they were mailed to the office. I was put on hold for 10 minutes had to call from another phone to talk to someone. The doctor who did the eye exam was great.

My glasses came in a 1 week later then the 2 weeks i was told and it was the wrong frame. Also there customer service is very nonchalant. They dont care when they inconvenience their customers. Over priced and ugly selection of frames. Most important the prescription for me to view the computer on my glasses is way off, each time I look at my computer I need to take of my glasses. I tried to give them a chance over and over hoping things would change with them but its still the same. So they have lost me and my grown childrens business.

I came in last week to get my glasses tighten and when I had gotten home I took my glasses off my face and they fell apart. I went back the same day and the lady order me the same frames and said they will be here on the 1st of April. I just got a call at 10:45 saying they discontinued my frames that I have go in again to find NEW GLASSES.Mind you my glasses have no scratches at all my glasses were a mid condition before I step foot in this place to tighten my glasses do not go here the customer service sucks.UPDATE at 10:54 they called me now they have my glassesUnprofessional and unorganized

Never did business with them but they have a horrible selection of glasses. If you are looking for fashionable eye wear then go somewhere else. Walmart has a better selection them them

Bad experience. A mistake was made and I was made to feel like it was my fault.

Bought glasses from them. I broke the frames a few months later. Went back and they tried to get me to buy the frames and lenses again for $164 even though there was nothing wrong with the lenses. I Asked about transferring the lenses to a new frame. I was quoted $134. Went online and found the frames for $21. Found out that there is a manufacturer’s 1 year warranty for free. However, MyEyeDoctor refused to help because I had not bought their $10 warranty and the manufacturer only dealt with stores not customers. So it looks like they charge customers for a warranty they get for free. Anyways bought the replacement frames online. The Walmart optometrist in New Haven transferred the lenses for free!!! Even though it wasnt their frames. Guess who is done with these people.

Love them, broke my glasses and they had no problems helping get a new one..I was away at college (they mailed it to me 🔥)

Was over charged and sent inncorrect billing after paying with debit card day of appt. Adding services and charging for ones already paid for also convinced to order diffrent contacts then last five years and needed to re order because the ones I was comvinced to oreder were very uncomfortable. And last I have been waiting over a week for call from office manger to find out she is on vacation! Never had any of this when was opti care please not worth it trust just go to another Eye Dr are two down street!

Staff was so rude. I would asked them questions and they seemed aggravated to answer. Horrible selection of glasses and very overpriced.
