I would highly, highly recommend Wave Gallery. I received assistance and suggestions without having to find someone to help me. The people who work here are very knowledgeable of their stock, are helpful, and friendly. I found the perfect gift, and they gift boxed it with ribbon (beautifully!!), again, without my asking. Would shop here again in a heartbeat.

I always stop at The Wave when I am in New Haven. I know they will have things that I havent seen. There is a great variety of style and price--anything from unique jewelry to elaborate chocolate--to handmade pottery. The gift wrapping is complementary and classy.Leave some extra time. It is a small store, but has lots to see.

I went in to check it out. Immediately an employee asked me if I needed help and I was like no but thank you. Thats usually when employees walk away but instead she continued to stand there right next to me watching me and giving me a disapproving look. For the entire time I was in the store.I saw a cute bracelet and would have bought it but obviously she wanted me to leave.I understand you dont want people to steal, I work in retail too, but never EVER would I stand right next to someone staring at them, CLEARLY she does not want anyone to look around in the store.

Absolutely horrifying experience. I got my girlfriend the wrong sized ring for her birthday but was unsure of the exact size. I was told I can come back and replace it anytime if I got the size wrong. I went back a week later to replace it with her and they didnt have the ring in stock (which is fine). I was told they would call me within a week when it comes in to pick it up. Two weeks go by and I went back in to see what was going on. The woman who said she ordered it out said to come back in another week because she had to back order it. I went back a week later exactly and talked to a different woman working. She said that the other employee never placed the order. She took my girlfriends information and said she would call us in a few days. Its been over 2 weeks. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. On top of all that every time I go in theyre extremely rude. Not only will I never buy from them again, but Id do anything in my power to make sure no one I know buys from them. My girlfriends birthday was the 23rd of October, it is now December 14th. Folks, get your Christmas shopping done elsewhere.

I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. I was complemented on my shirt and made jokes the whole Time and then found gifts for the little one who I was not shopping for at the time. I will highly recommend wave to others.

Ive gone here a few times looking for gifts. They are very overpriced and the service is always smug and pushy, but they do have some unique gift items. I went there most recently only to be turned away. Even though I showed up 50 minutes before closing, their door was locked. All the lights were on and two employees were having a conversation at the front counter, but they waved me off. They clearly dont value their customers, and for that reason I wont be returning.

Overpriced. Inventory limited. This shop was a lot nicer about 10 years ago.

We got the product that we wanted in the store and it was at a discount. However, the man that works in the store has a terrible sarcastic attitude. My mother was looking for an Alex and Ani bracelet to buy as a gift. Neither of us has ever bought one so she was looking and trying to think about what she wanted. I didnt know there was a time limit on choosing something. She asked to see about three or four bracelets two of which she ended up buying. And the man in the store had nothing but sarcasm coming out of his mouth he was disrespectful to her. I dont know how that store manages to stay open, if that is how he treats people that just want be sure about what they want to buy. There are other places that sell the same product in New Haven. I know I would never go back there if that is the attitude I would receive.

It is amazing how Jessica knows and understands the product past and present at Wave she understands her cliental and is an unbelievable sales woman Kudos to the company for retaining her for as long as they have truly a gem and always a pleasure to come shopping at wave because of her.

Wonderful customer service! Great selection of gifts too! We found Alex and Ani and local artists plus chocolate too! We got stocking stuffers for kids and Tequila salt shooters for the adults! Can hardly wait to go back!

In one way or another the stars had us end up in this store this rainy, dreary Mothers Day morning with my 5yo dau who was heart set on purchasing me a bracelet for Mothers Day.What a pleasant experience and a beautiful surprise at this classy boutique store. The saleslady, didnt catch her name, mid_age, blondish grey hair, pretty red lipstick, was very patient and informative on all items. She helped my baby girl pickout my new addiction, an Alex and Ani bracelet. She also escorted my rambunctious 5yo to the gift wrap section where dd was able to select various colors of ribbon for the gift box(FREE!!!, so pretty and original in design). DD was in Mothers Day Heaven and so proud of herself. Her 1st independent experience as a consumer will be remembered forever.I cant wait to go back and this will be my go to place for gifts for family, friends, coworkers, etc. Also a nice place for my dau and I to go for a girls day out downtown.So glad we didnt purchase from a big box chain. Wave is the RAVE in New Haven! They have something for everyone and everyone will leave with more than just a store experience.
