As good as it gets! The fresh kielbasa, small batch kielbasa is the best I have ever had in my life. It is fresh which means NOT cooked in advance. The quality ingredients all meld together when you grill at medium to low for 30 - 45 minutes and char to liking. You can also boil or bake or feather and fry. Grilling brings out the best flavor.Magdalenas store made pierogi (made to order) are as good as my Babci used to make! Potato/Farmer Cheese, Kapusta/Mushroom, or Meat are on the everday menu. I am certain catering orders would allow for other filling requests. ****WARNING****IF YOU TRY THESE WITH GREAT SOURCREAM YOU WILL BECOME ADDICTED.The store is filled with all prinary polish dry and canned goods including awesome candy!Rye bread is best in our area! All of the deli meats and cheeses are the best and priced very well. All sliced to order. The smoked bacon is delicious and chucked or sliced to order. The smoked kielbasa selection is more than enough in options and all top quality Polish made. The service is awesome and 100% traditional.Polmags reminds of a Polish store we had on our block in Yonkers, NY.Enjoy and if you have questions please ask.
Just stopped in on my way home from work and had some of the most delicious polish sausages and meats❤
Love Polmag Deli. Fresh danish, great specialty jams, pickled beets, delectable items from far off country and the deli counter looks lovely. Thank you Polmag
Love this little family-owned shop! delicious pastries, pierogis, kielbasa, and polish snacks
Very good polish cheesecake, very nice and compassionate service. I will most likely come back again.
Some of the best pierogi and stuffed cabbage Ive ever had
Nice store pleasant person behind the counter and the kielbasa was delicious
Amazing shop! Highly recommend it!
This community-oriented deli has a great selection of quality Polish meats. It is clear that the owners are careful about picking the best suppliers. They have fresh Polish pastries and can even make pierogis for you. They also have a good selection of fairly-priced imported goods from Poland. The place is just great!
This shop made me feel like I am back home in Europe. When I discovered it on my first day in New Haven I went in immediately and the owners were so welcoming and sweet! It is just an authentic shop and so down-to-earth. Dont miss the Lubinski cheese, Grandmas ham or their fresh bread rolls (yes it tastes like REAL bread!) and Jacobs Krönung ground coffee. Coming back to New Haven in November and I am already looking forward to visit this little shop again. Prices are also good!
Place is clean and renovated from what i remember how it looked 25 years age. Staff/owners are nice and friendly. Descent selection of food. place is not huge so you will not have a lot of manufacturer choices but if you are regular and wants something that you will get on regular basis, they most likely could accommodate.
Great place for a sandwich and other things
Best home made pierogi. Best Polish food
Great cold cuts and very inexpensive. Family run and owned great pierogis.
Great service, selection of meats from Poland, inexpensive traditional pickles, jams, breads etc. I love the handmade piorgies.
Ordered and paid over the phone from Florida 7 lbs of sausage and various pastries for my family to pick up. Fantastic service!
I think this place is awesome because me and my friends hang out on the corner here
Good selection of all things polish. Also sells food to eat in or take away.
This family-operated deli is the place to find foods imported from Poland as well as traditional Polish breads and pastries from bakeries in Connecticut and NYC. Whether you are looking for kielbasy, pierogies, paczki, babka, stuffed cabbage rolls, or a fresh sandwich to go, you will find it here. The owners are really nice and are very proud of their shop.
No need to drive to New Britain. This place is great!
Good choice of Polish meats, cheese and sweets.
The food is, so, so. The cold cuts are not authentic.
