Pearle Vision in NHP is fantastic. Dr Davis gives a very thorough eye exam & is very patient. Marlene is extremely knowledgeable, kind & patient. She also discusses different plans to save you money & today I received a tip to not leave your sunglasses in the car. Thanks Marlene!

I don’t know why the lady that helped me couldn’t tell me that these frames are going to be too small for the lenses I need. Every other pace I’ve gone for glasses 👓 in the past 50 years would tell me “ that’s the wrong size frame for the that tutor lenses “ Now I have lenses too big for these frames. On top of all this mess, what I asked for, aviator type lenses for night driving was not added.I would not recommend pearl vision, new Hyde park to anyone

Horrible customer service. They hired a new rookie, who is unprofessional,Lair,and rude.I wanted to get the PD number of my dad for his new eyeglasses And was thinking to buy new eyeglasses & give them new order but she said we don’t measure the PD number for a new customer which is a lie. I explained to her my mom is an old customer of this store.She again denied. I asked for the manager, she said “ she is not working today again lied, you have to call back tomorrow.” I asked her name - she denied it and said I don’t give my name, why do you need my name?I figured out the something is fishy the way she spoke to me. She didn’t even ask me that are we looking forward to making new eyeglasses or something?She was least bothered.I asked my sister to call back, speak to the manager, and guess what? The manager was working today, and she asked my sister to walk in anytime for the measurement.The manager “ Marlene” was professional and polite.I explained everything to her but I don’t know whether there would be any action taken against her or not ?This store definitely needs to train their new employees how to talk to the customer.I want to assure the owner that they have certainly lost a new customer for sure, And will keeping losing more customers if they don’t hire professionals or give proper training to their new employees.Terrible experience. Just avoid this store.

It took me almost 4 weeks to have my new glasses. the prescription was incorrect in the beginning so i returned back and had a new prescription. The staff is great but the waiting time to get your glasses is crazy which needs to be improved. Its almost 2 days and Im still not yet adjusted with the new prescription. I decided to go somewhere else and take a 2nd opinion if the prescription is correct or not. Id recommend you to take care of your customers instead of giving them incorrect prescription.

This place is the best place for glasses. Evelina was the best person to deal with. She made sure my family was comfortable with their glasses. She did not rush us, she made sure everything was good before we left he store. We returned few days later with two problem and she solved both, including new pair of glasses for my son which made his day. She is such a great asset to the company and shows compassion for each and every person she dealt with. I will highly recommend Pearle Vision and Evelina to all my family and friends. I scheduled an eye exam and I was able to receive very comprehensive care. The Optometrist, Dr. Speiser, seemed knowledgeable and explained in depth. I would definitely go back again.

We followed Dr. Davis to this location after his office at Sears Optical closed. Dr. Davis is so nice and explains everything he is doing and why he is doing it. He sees everyone in our family, including our children, and he makes our kids very comfortable. He also doesnt push new glasses if scripts change only slightly, and he didnt push glasses onto my daughter even though she has a touch of an issue with distance. He recommended keeping tabs on how she is doing instead of jumping into glasses, and maybe starting in a couple of years if it gets worse.This Pearle office is a nice location - very clean and the staff is friendly and well organized. Lots of frames to choose from in a wide range of prices - I used to struggle finding glasses that are both covered by insurance AND look good. I havent had that problem in the last 2 years!

Marlene at your New Hyde Park location was friendly efficient and knowledgeable. I dont see how you could improve. But the frames are so expensive.

I had my eyes checked for a new prescription after making an appointment online. Dr. Speiser doctor did a great job and explained things as he did the examination. They took extra precaution to keep the store clean and safe with barriers and frequent sanitizing as we’re dealing this this COVID pandemic. The office is night and bright without clutter

This was my first visit to Pearle Vision.The New Hyde Park location was clean, well-lit and everyone was complying with COVID-19 restrictions by wearing face masks and socially distancing.I was quite early for my appointment and thought I would have to wait outside in the rain due to restrictions however, I was greeted immediately upon entry and shortly after stating my name was whisked away to the pre-screening room.Jaylene was professional, cheerful and efficient as she cleaned the equipment and performed the prescreening tests.I did not have long to wait to see Dr. Speiser. He listened attentively to my medical history, offered advice as needed and conducted a very through eye-exam explaining everything as he went along. This was great! Never before had anything been explained so clearly.I highly recommend Dr. Speiser and this Pearle Vision location.

I enjoyed the Drs demeanor.I had a appointment for 4:15 pm. I got there around 4pm, filled out a little paperwork and I was taken in for some pre-tests. As soon as that was done. The Dr. saw me right way.He listened to my concerns. We came up with a plan that I felt very good about.I appreciate the team at this location and would recommend them easily.Edit: two years later.... The Doc is still great. Marlene the young woman up front is awesome. I love her personality. Both are professional, Courteous and fun. Fun goes a long way. I highly recommend this location. Keep up the good work.

What a great experience with the drs at this location. Took my kids there and they were patient and told them everything they were doing. Very kid friendly.

Dr. Cohen, one of the doctors at this location, diagnosed me with a rare vision condition and prescribed a specialized lens solution after 3 other optometrists and one opthamologist failed to diagnose it. All I can say is that this doctor truly gave me my sight back. I give my strongest recommendation for this Pearle Vision location!
