Great food no doubt about it. But alot of the employees have not been taught to treat customers with respect. The young people there are nasty. Im done shopping there. There are other places with great food.

Excellent customer service and staff and love there selection of 🍖 meats and sausages .Clean location can get very busy in the store on holidays parking lot is very congested! ☺I recommend this place to others 👌 👍 👍

The store and the quality of food is great buttttt everyone at the bakery was wearing their mask not covering their nose and the one girl was coughing all over the place.

Went here for the first time based on all the rave reviews and had ordered the veggie lasagna and some buffalo wings. I only ordered a little of each to give it a try first and I wasn’t particularly blown away by the food, standard at best. It’s also cold food so you have to reheat it at home. The buffalo wings seemed overly salty. My daughter was so hungry that she ate it cold and didn’t even wait for me to reheat it. They didn’t give me any side of blue cheese with it so I had to ask for it but the young guy working the counter was very nice to give me some. Wish I had gotten his name because he had the right attitude.I had come earlier in the day and bought some rugelach from the bakery and it was pretty good.My main issue was the original woman (with the short buzzed haircut under her hat) who took my order was a little obnoxious in my opinion. Is she over-worked or underpaid, I don’t know. But clearly doesn’t seem like she enjoys her job. I live in CT so not used to rude customer service. I had taken two tickets by accident and she seemed a little annoyed having to explain to me that I need to put the extra ticket in the basket. Kinda embarrassing being condescendingly spoken to like that especially in front of my daughter. With that said, it totally put me off wanting to come back here again. One bad customer service experience is all it takes.

Everything in this store is top quality: fruits, vegetables, meats, prepared foods, and baked goods. The salads are a must -- whatever your heart desires is ready to go. Side dishes, like sweet potatoes, are a nice addition to your home-cooked meal.

Just got food catered from here for my sons 2nd birthday and OMG. All I have to say is I’ll be placing another catering order for my fiancé’s birthday also. Amazing amazing food and they are so generous. Gave us serving spoons and tongs. Just the little things you can appreciate. Very impressed!

I need to update my reviews here.The Iavorone Italian kitchen has excellent food like I wrote many times prior.The service here always excellent the many different Pizza combinations are amazing.This review will be about the meatballs.I really dont like when you go to a nice Italian restaurant and order spaghetti and meatballs and all you taste are the bread crumbs.Its sad.Here however this meatball recipe handed down from Mama Iavorone from years ago are seriously amazing and Fabulous and bringing back my Grandfathers Sunday night meals where he cooked for 3 hours to get the freshest tasting food.Iavorone Italian Kitchen brings back the old school flavor of all their foods and the awesome hospitality are one of the main reasons I keep going back.

Drove 20 miles to get equadorian shrimp last weekend. Purchased 1 lb $30.29. and Norwegian salmon filet $7.89. Came home and put directly in the refrigerator for the next day.I opened my refrigerator in the morning to a horrible stench! All spoiled! Shrimp was oily and slimy. Never ever going there again!

Iavarone has been my go to shop for prepared foods for many years, especially pasta, chicken dumplings, fresh salads and salmon. Occasionally they make paella, baked ham and BBQ pork which are real treats. The produce is the best Ive found as they purchase much of it from the local Long Island farms. It can get very busy, so when you go to the deli, take a number.

Iavarone has quick sandwiches or you can make them to order. Italian meals are fresh for take out when Im lazy and dont want to cook. Fresh fish and meats can be intimidating on you first time there. Nobody acknowledges you unless you ring a bell. Usually buy prepackaged meats, dont have to deal with people who make you feel like youre bothering them. Their deli counter people and their cashiers are exact opposite and awesome.

Excellent selection of edibles. Meat is pricey but sales are good. Deli is excellent. Bakery is fantastic.

This is definitely a top notch pizzeria in new hyde park. Yesterday was my first time at this particular restaurant. That was located at the lake success shopping center. The staff was great and friendly towards me and my family. The pizza was good also, I ordered a barbecue chicken slice. I also had some of their mozzarella sticks. And some really good bread rolls which I really liked.the bill wasnt bad, the decor of the restaurant was nice plus the ambiance was relaxed and mellow.Dont forget this restaurant has dining in with social distancing. Which is cool because, if you live in the city, you only can dine out side, for the whole curbside dining experience.I cant forget how nice there super market was,they have great pastries, from cup cakes to cakes, cannolis you name it .and there deli has all kind of cold cuts, Italian meats the works, definitely a top super market in the lake success shopping center.

I love this place I have been shopping here since the 80’s and it keeps getting better and better. My favorite is the broccoli cheddar quiche. I go there often and get the quiche, sirloin burgers, skirt steak and for the best roast beef sandwich I get the roast beef and some Munster cheese and make the most amazing sandwich. This place is awesome!

A wonderful Italian gourmet deli/grocery store.

Had to now change to 1 star 3 days later. After review of my receipt the cashier never put my points on my card. This is after I gave him my name loved how he was just going with the motions as if he was doing it.A visit to Iavarone for the most part is always good. Food there is of better than good Quality and care is put into it as you will notice when you eat it. Clean and well organized in both of their locations Lake Success and Wantagh. Gave 4 stars but should be 3, only because their cashiers should be more friendly. Of all the times Ive been going there, there has only been 2 or 3 times a cashier actually cared for their guests. Thats their only down side. Great service on the floor but poor at check out. First impression is awesome but the last impression always leaves with the person. Cashiers destroy a visit but, I keep coming back because the food is good This is why they got the 4 stars and not 3.

Great food (home made style). Would be 5 stars if not for the customers and staffs. They have a system of pulling for a ticket to know how many people are ahead of you. However, various customers just jump in before their number is called. Would not be a problem, usually, but some staff just serve anyone who grabbed their attention. Ended up waiting even longer.

Was a regular customer until I was presented with grilled chicken that had gone green. YUCK!! If I didnt notice it myself I would have gotten food poisoning. Thank the good Lord for good eyesight on my part. Ivarone used to pride itself on quality food. They should not let their past success get to their heads.Quality of food should be monitored daily..and by the way, the manager of the deli would do well to be less of a smart aleck.Hope to be back one day, but I will not leave the store without closely examining what I order. Its taken me a while to rebuild my trust.

Great store to shop for prepared food! Selection is great! I love to shop at the deli counter! Alvin is the absolute BEST! He is always helpful and does a superb job!
