Great, friendly staff. Excellent butcher. For a smaller store, excellent meat department. Often specials. Hot deli for lunch, great selection. Best fried chicken around.

We went to get some groceries since we are staying at the state park this week. I was happy to see a full grocery store so that I didnt have to drive all the way back to Lafayette just to get a few things. The employees were all very nice.

Friendly staff, I think the store is a little overpriced but it is in a location thats cater to rural people. So I believe youre really paying for the convenience of the store location. Beside that I would come here to do a quick pick, up but I prefer a larger store because I get more bang for my buck. 🤔👍🙂😊

Im a regular, prices are average, except for beer, we love the seafood stuffed peppers. Ill be back. They do have a lot of shoppers. Did I mention the beer is a little high, hint hint.

Went to Lydia Food Store and got some plate lunches to go. We got the combo fried shrimp and catfish with rice dressing and smothered spinach. Cant beat the home cook taste.

The other day I called and asked if they accepted EBT for hot food. The woman on the phone said YES. I went in and picked out some boudin and a chicken burger. Went to checkout, they told me they don’t take EBT for hot food. I expressed that I had just called this store literally 10 minutes ago and asked if they accepted EBT For hot food, and now I’m being told that they do NOT in fact accept EBT for hot food. Lady at the register said, we used to. Not anymore. Well they should tell the woman answering the phones that, as it’s the entire reason I went there. It was embarrassing. I ended up using what little cash I had just cause I didn’t wanna put it back and be more embarrassed. It was literally the rest of my cash though. Anyways, I wish I would have just put it back, because the chicken burger tasted like fish, and the boudin was probably the worst boudin I’ve ever eaten. Bought 4 links of the stuff, ended up giving 3 of them to my dogs.
