Great selection and wonderful fresh fruits and vegetables and produce

This place is more pleasing to the eye than most grocery stores, but compared to other stores in this area their prices are astronomical. They do have a bigger selection, but when it comes to things other stores have they are much more expensive. Rack up those getgo points if you dont want to take out a second mortgage to shop here.

Always love shopping at Giant Eagle when I visit the Burgh!! Everything you want to find youll find it there, including Steeler & and Penguin fan items. Also Giant Eagle has an excellent bakery, a delicious hot food deli and fresh deli!! Its like coming home!

Great pickup service! Hardly any wait

Excellent Customer Service! I love Giant Eagle! My car tire busted and I told management. I gave them my info and they assured my car would not be touched. A week later, because I had to wait for debit card to come in, MY CAR WAS STILL THERE AS PROMISED! THANK YOU!

Barely better than Walmart. Half the self checkout lanes closed. Went to a staffed checkout and the cashier was not bagging the items. I had to wait for the previous customer to finish bagging, before I started bagging. Complete cluster.

Every one was so nice to me. I needed pop bottles from a top shelf, and a man who works there got them down for me, I couldnt reach them.The check out lady was so very nice to me.

Shop here often. Enjoy the organic food variety. Fuel perks are nice.

This is one of the best Giant Eagle stores around. The core team that has been there since the beginning, have influenced the new team members in good work ethics and a sense of pride in their communities.

I have been getting my groceries delivered since I contracted Covid & became very ill. I’m impressed with the efficiency of the service. Those who pick the groceries & those who deliver them have been outstanding! Today it didn’t seem that my tip for the delivery girl didn’t seem to go through. And the only money I had was a $20 bill. She didn’t have any change so I gave her the 20. She didn’t want to accept it but I insisted. She thanked me several times. I thought all was done but she turned her car around & came back. She said when she closed out my delivery the tip I had entered showed up & she wanted to return the $20. Such honesty in such a dishonest world! You should b grateful to have great employees & they should b rewarded for their honesty!!!

One of the better GEs, much better selection than most

I buy nearly all of my groceries at this Giant Eagle for several reasons. They have what I consider to be one of the best apps for shopping. I can easily find what I want, can shop and clip coupons from the comfort of my home, get great selection, and can get my groceries from curbside pickup. Great place to shop!

Ive rarely had a bad experience here. Quite a lot of the staff have worked the same store for nearly 30 years, so they must be doing something right.Their produce is the best Ive found in the area, surpassing even the farmers markets. Their meat department is amazing and their deli outstanding.

I like this Giant eagle because they have self scanners for easy check-out. There are people at entrance asking for your personal information, with no good explanation of why. Supposedly for coupons.

Yep, this particular store Giant eagle been there for a few good years took place of a decent good store thats sold a decent price a good Levis. I have worked there Giant eagle for about a year and a half or so, in the eighties.. I like G.E. then, I like G.E. now. Good variety of a lot of stuff. Thank you for sharing...

Prices could be lower than but other than that great

I absolutely love how theyve evolved their curbside pickup services during the pandemic. Its fast, its easy and its safe. Plus everyone is very friendly and helpful. Things I especially like is that the shopper will text you when they start and will give you options for substitutions if something is out of stock. And if you forget something, you can add it easily. I also really like that you can opt in to GPS to let them know youre on your way and then simply click a button when you arrive; theyll bring your order out within minutes.Theyre providing a much appreciated service and have been very thoughtful in developing a process that works and is incredibly convenient.My one suggestion is that they allow their staff to accept tips. The personal shoppers are amazing.

After going corporate it doesnt make sense! Things are in strange places that dont go together..always out of most things people want..Long time customers complain they dont like it either!!

I got lost in the store, Im new to the area just want to say its a very nice store, I havent run into any people where I needed help yet but Im sure they would help me, the cashiers are very nice!

Aisles are half sized and everything is jumbled everywhere. Not one of my favorite places to shop.

This store has a wide variety of features like a bakery, deli, hot foods and liquor section. There is a Starbucks mini store inside too. It is always fully stocked.

I am very disappointed with this Giant Eagle. I enjoy the quality of the products, the satisfactory customer service and the cleanliness of the store, but the curbside express need some work. They almost always get my order wrong, give me items that expire within days, or ignore the requests that you are promoted to input at the end of the ordering process. I would suggest going into the store and dodging the crowd to have a better experience.

Great place to shop

Giant Eagle is a big chain in this area and the company is a union based company. That being said, their quality is top notch, however the prices are bit higher than most local grocery stores. We just need a few things we stop here, however for the big trip we shop at other stores. Four stars just because the prices are bit higher than most others.

Pretty easy to get in and out early. Probably more difficult later

I went through the drive through pharmacy and although there is always a line the cars moved along at a steady rate. The tech at the window was friendly and efficient.

I personally love it. Big without being ridiculous, has many speciality items and good service.

My grocery pick up today was not a good experience, I waited over 15 minutes to get my order and I was the only on waiting for my order just not understanding.

Pales in comparison to many other Giant Eagle locations and needs an absolute overhaul, if they brought a full modernised Market District and brought in more new and interesting items it would bring business and they know it, otherwise its just a painfully bland supermarket that shouldnt even earn a title of being super in the slightest.

Needs more people to check you out. They wouldnt cut meat after 3:00 on the week before Christmas. I was planning on spending 130.00 for filet mignon but there was no meat cutter. I spent 150 on seafood but couldnt get my steak. Now I will just go somewhere else for my food.

Register area feels a little cramped. It feels like the space in the produce/bakery area could be better organized. The HBA section is very nice.

Very clean and great staff. I forgot to use my giant eagle card and had to go to the desk to have them take off my savings. Very friendly!

Have used their contact free curbside pick-up twice and have been very satisfied both times. Only issue was a few spoiled strawberries in a carton. I do prefer choosing my own produce.

I appreciate there being a giant eagle near my hometown because of their selection and product availability. I dont like how they do their sales, but its still worth it for me to have a giant eagle advantage card and shop here from time to time.

With social distancing measures taken i will definitely come back to this very clean supermarket. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The 2 I had interactions with were awesome. The only negative thing that I experienced here were some rude shoppers.

Except for the pharmacy. The pharmacy is five stars.

They were fully stocked, minus alot of Goya products. Products were easily found and the cashier was very sweet and personable. Overall, my experience was great.

A bit expensive, but they do have some good deals. They offer a variety of goods, added perk of Starbucks as well.

Ran in for prescriptions and the pharmacist took time out to talk to me ..he wanted to know if I understood how to take my meds and if I had any questions...wasnt that sweet??

Just bought a home in the area and I really love this store! The safety precautions throughout the store are on point! I will Definitely be doing all my shopping here in the future!

High prices and yes they have everything but all is too expensive and not competive with the other supermarket. Wholefood is much cheaper and you get better quality and USDA organic. For some reason Giant Eagle does not sell organic half and half. This particular one has also a beer/wine store so that is very convenient if you want to make all one stop and do not mind the high prices.

Best grocery store around, but lines were a little long.

This is my local store I like to shop here because they have fresh produce and bakery items are my favorite like fresh baked bread of all kinds and you get fuel perks for shopping here

I felt like I was profiled when I was trying to get a mistake corrected. I had purchased some hot food at a different giant eagle location and it was never put in my bag. I called and explained what happened and was told by the manager that I could come back and they would correct the problem. I told her I lived 20 miles away and I did not have the money to pay for the gas to return. I explained that there was a giant eagle right across the bridge from me and she said I could go there and they would either replace the product or refund my money. When I went to the store they made me feel like I was trying to scam them for seven dollars worth of fried chicken. One woman even made the remark that if it happens again I would have to go back to the original store. This has never happened before and it should not have happened this time and it was not my fault in the first place. I was very mad but I kept my composure. The price of the food varies and I had to pay the difference for the substitute. I know that my skin color played a part in the way I was treated and I hope that no one else has to go through this embarrassment. Thank you for your time and consideration. Wendell Bradshaw.

Close by, items I like are there. Cornbread mix, vinegar, lunch meats delicious, my cat food of choice (hairball formula). Satisfied, I am. And, I top off my experience with an almond essoresso frapyccino from Starbucks 😁

Some GEs are better than others.. This is a good one. Its clean; the staff is helpful and the store always seems adequately organized and staffed.

Talked with store manager in Tarentum. Cashier said she didnt have to wipe down belt counter at the register!!😠 She never offered. I should not have to ask!!

Staff and management here is always friendly. The store is always clean, and I love the selection here. I would rather shop here than any other grocery store. Its much easier to navigate through, rather than a place like Walmart. I feel that the way that the store is setup is more convenient when you are in a hurry, and need to find a few things fast. I always get great deals with my advantage card. The hot foods has a nice little cafe to stop and take a break and grab a bite to eat, and the food is yummy. The chicken pot pie is the best. I usually grab one of those, after I get a coffee from Starbucks, which is also on site.

You can not trust the hours posted. I showed up at 8:45 to grab some much need supplies. The manager stood at the front and said sorry, we are closing early. I know its only 15 minutes early and these are strange days, but I think a critical service provider should at least honor the posted hours.

It was ok. With Corona pandemic, all small shopping baskets were re moved. Had to use a woven basket from display, w/$10 price tag on it. Barely held what I needed. Ditched it, while checking out. Sure.the prices arent the best. But, all I could afford. Nice layout, though blocked from wine section. One way aisle markings, largely ignored. Loca yokels, feel like rules dont apply to them. It was great, to finally nosh, on some decent sushi.

Aside from thier militant approach to mask wearing this is a well run grocery store that does a pretty good job of staying stocked up on all kinds of staple items.

Nice grocery store. High in price. But it is a trade off for a clean and well kept store. Also keep in mind that the food is better quality of places lower in price. For example: Bananas here still taste better even when theyre ripening. I had some from another place, a day after being completely yellow, these Bananas tasted funky.I like Giant Eagle, I do hope that the Company understands, I dont need fancy. I want good products & the employees in the store to be thank & appreciated. God knows I wouldnt want to go outside for a cart in the rain or snow. I thank those who do: the little but important tasks

While in Florida for the winter, we were dying for Giant Eagle’s Pine Forest liqud hand soap, which smells so wonderful at Christmas time. To our dismay, we could only get it at Curbside Pick Up, which was a bit far from Florida. But what a wonderful surprise when one of the managers, Jessica, offered to mail it to us! We love our Giant Eagle and look forward to shopping in person when we return in the spring.

Absolutely disgusting. Total filth. Dirtest Giant Eagle ever. Multiple self checkout lanes stained with meat juice, blood red. Nowhere to set groceries down. Looks like they never clean like ever. Multiple employees just lollygagging around. Wheres the management? Will avoid the New Ken Giant Eagle at all costs. With the prices Giant Eagle charges that place should be immaculate. Aldis it is then. At least their store is clean.

Just stopped for milk 😷 ran in picked up about 5 things and was out in about 10 mins fastest I was ever in that store people were great loved it 💙😸😷

Good Store. In drastic need of a remodel though to make it more modern like most other Giant Eagles. Also the front end either needs new managers or new employees. It takes FOREVER to checkout on most days even in the middle of the day on a weekday. I’d also suggest adding more self checkouts, because it makes my checkout process much faster.

Today during this pandemic, all workers I encountered were cheerful and pleasant. I want the manager to know that the staff is great and I wish I had more than gratitude to give these hard working Giant Eagle staffers.
