I recently had an appointment for 4 new tires installation at the New Lenox, Illinois location.Moments after being seated in the waiting room I was approached by the sales agent stating that they strongly recommend I get the wheel alignment that I previously declined. He told the price for the wheel alignment was typically $99 but he could give it to me for a discount of $69. I agreed to the wheel alignment. Approximately 10 minutes later he came to state that I need the tire stems, that additional cost would be $6.99 per tire. Once again, I agreed to the additional work. At this point in time, I noticed that my car was not even in the bay area... and thought that it was odd that they were recommending additional items. Again about 10 minutes later this time I noticed that my car was in the bay area the salesperson came to state that I needed 21 lug nuts and the cost would be $350. I stated that I did not have an additional $350, and the price seemed ridiculous. He goes away and comes back stating that they could replace them for $300. I declined and asked them to pull my car down from their rack. The sales agent comes back with his manager. His manager states that the lug nuts are worn and hard to get off and eventually there would be additional wear and tear starting with the cap falling off. He also added that the condition of the lug nuts would require a considerable amount of time to get the tires removed. I ask to see what he was talking about. I went out to the bay area where they have the drivers front and back tires off. They had not started on the passenger side. The manager pulls out a tool they used to remove the lug nuts and proceed to show me how they will wear down causing future problems. I declined the service and request again they pull my car off their rack.I truly feel that they were trying to take advantage of me being a woman. I am currently getting new tires installed with new lug nuts being replaced for a total price of $35! How in earth could Mavis charge $350!

Same day appointment. I was surprised how quickly the repairs were done! Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. I will be ready for new tires soon and will definitely buy them from Mavis!

I went to Mavis to have my brakes done. Needed rotors and pads. Malcolm was awesome to deal with ! It is a very busy place so make sure you have an appointment. Even if people didn’t have an appointment Malcolm would help accommodate customers the best he could at 7pm. Great customer service! Will definitely be back !

This past Friday was my first time as a customer at Mavis in New Lenox and I surely will continue servicing my car there. I called in for a price estimate and availability. The price quote was very competitive. Although Mavis was very business, I was promised that if I came in as soon as possible I could be serviced. I brought my car in Friday morning with an expectation that my car would be serviced by the closed of business. My car was ready around 2pm and I couldn’t be more happy with the the timing as well the issue being fixed. The customer service was great. If you need to schedule some work for your car, call in and speak to Malcom. He is very honest and a great guy.

I just want to start off saying Mavis is the place to go for new tires. The store manager named Malcolm was very helpful. He knew exactly what he was talking about. Made me very comfortable with my purchase. He gave me options to choose from with different pricing. I had a budget that I was working with and he fulfilled that expectation. Very fast service and didnt wait long. I reccomend Mavis and speak to the general manager Malcolm if you get the chance!

I came into Mavis to get a quote on two front tires. The manager was very helpful and beat the competitors price that I had. 20 minutes from when I walked in, my car was ready to go! I’ve never experienced tire service that fast before. Highly recommend! Ask for Malcolm!

I got my tires rotated by Malcolm he did a great job, it was super fast!! I thought it was going to take up to 45 mins but I could have sworn i got out of there with 15-20 min!! super fast service and also super cheap!! definitely will come back for my next oil change they’re very attentive, affordable, and quick!

They are very short staffed and can’t keep up with demand right now. You’ll have to accommodate them until they can accommodate you. Not sure I can recommend this place right now, maybe in better days you’ll get a more typical customer experience here.

Busted two front tires, came in the day after the fourth of July, an hour before close, and even though the guys were backed up with work, they were able to help us out and replace our tires. Ive been coming to this location (before Mavis was NTB) for YEARS! Ive had three different cars come through this company and have had no complaints. The prices are always as quoted (unless more work needs to be done), ALL problems/repairs are always ran by me BEFORE the work is done. Always a satisfied customer!!

Had an appointment and quote, and there were 3 bays open when I pulled up. The guy inside said “it would be like 20-30 min before they could get it up and then another hour to install.” They said an hour on the phone, but I was like “ok, no problem”… then he tries to sell me on an alignment, I was like “no thanks just the quoted price” and he was like “well that price doesn’t include everything, it’s gonna be like $100 more”… So, I left. Honestly never write reviews, just had to since this was pretty bad.

The staff is incredibly nice and they are very reasonable with their customers. I came in to get a new oil pan and to fix a tire and they provided me very fast and and efficient service. I recommend Mavis to anyone looking for unbeatable prices and quality service.

The manager Malcom is a very helpful and insightful guy, knows what hes talking about and provides excellent customer service.

Firestone didnt want to take the time to help fix my spare tire. I went to Mavis and Joe had a lets figure this out attitude. He helped me in a matter of minutes. Great guy, great shop. Come here if you ever need fast help with a repair.

Store Manager, Eric greeted us with a warm welcome. My daughter thought she needed a wheel alignment ..after inspection it was determined a tire balancing was needed. Eric didn’t pressure us to get services at Marvis due to the fact we recently purchased new tires from a different vendor and gave us the option to go back to there. Because of his honesty we decided to move forward with service.The level of professionalism is greatly appreciated .

Had aftermarket rotors and breaks that needed to be installed on a time crunch. These guys managed to fit me in same day when I called at almost noon. They knocked it out a few hours after I dropped it off. Great service, staff was excellent too.

We called Mavis when we were in a bind with a dry-rotted valve stem. Not only are they the only shop open after 6pm on a weekday, but they also have incredible customer service. Great place and friendly service. Jason gave me a great price on a synthetic oil change and power steering fluid and completed the work in ~25 minutes from a no call drop off to me back out the door. I will definitely be back in when I need more work done.

I came in to have my struts repaired, the team was as timely as possible for such a big project. I worked in the waiting room socially distance with masks while I waited.Then, I popped back in to have my sensor replaced a week later after being notified my tires were fine the sensor on one wheel was the problem. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Jason and Noah were excellent!I use this location as my full-service mechanic for my 11-year-old vehicle. They’re great!

I have gotten tires here before. Since I have gotten two nails in them. Mavis has always quickly got me and patched my tires. Jason today got me in and out quickly. Very polite and professional.

Going into a car place as a woman is usually (in my experience) an overwhelming situation. When I was at mavis, I didn’t feel like they were trying to sell me anything I didn’t need and I felt like I was treated with kindness and respect. Jason at the front made everything easy and really helped ease the stressful situation of having a flat tire. Cannot recommend this place enough!

From when I was on the phone with them, to being able to get into the store right away, everyone I had contact with was super helpful and genuinely nice to me and wanted to help me out however they could. Honestly one of the best tire places I’ve been to between New Lenox and Joliet !

Went for a front end alignment still pulls to the right, and plastic fender well was laying on my tires after in the parking lot (was not like that when I dropped it off) and the worker that took my payment just played dumb like nothing happened and didnt have them fix it. I will never go back
