The staff and prices are unbeatable. They carry pretty much anything you could possibly be looking for and they always have many many good things on clearance.

Its Harbor Freight. Every tool they sell is multi-purpose, as it can be used as a hammer. This is not where you go to find top quality tools that you have to worry about, treat with care, clean oil and polish nightly, sing to sleep, and make payments for them over 18 years.Nope. These here are real cheap, cheap tools, like borderline disposable cheap, and usually they work just fine. Some of them do work great and last ages, but thats the exception not the expectation. These are tools that you get because youre in a pinch, or you only need something briefly, or you just know itll get lost, or has a high potential to be abused. And for that, they are perfect.Funny enough, they actually have a pretty decent warranty on them.

Stopped by Harbor Freight to pick up some supplies before Hurricane Henri hits. Grabbed a couple of LED flashlights. The store was decently stocked given the situation. Employees were helpful and courteous.

Ive spent plenty of money with Harbor Freight. After my most recent experience with their Drummond line of pumps and anti-customer service policy Ill spend extra money anywhere else to avoid going to HF again. If there is one thing I wont tolerate its having a large scale company like HF show zero respect for the hard earned money I spend there.

Harbor Freight has been a great source of tools for myself, co-workers and friends of mine. Theres a little bit of something for everyone, power tools, screw driver kits and replacement wheels for Dolly and carts. As well as being conveniently closer for me than other hardware stores.

This particular HF store in NL is OK, why I only give it 3 stars is because their stock and inventory is horrible. They never have nitrile gloves, tool box side cabinets amongst some of the other higher ticket items. I had to travel to the Waterbury store because they just couldnt seem to sell me the largest Vulcon welding cart model, the one that sells for $340. Also Ive found other HF locations much better stocked in everthing, this has been going on for years at the NL store and they cant seem to resolve the matter with corporate....the demand for these larger items is certainly there so why not stock it? Never have the products I need ever, they always give you the speach how the truck delivers them more stock on Thurs and yet they never know whats on it...

The manager and the cadhier were super helpful. The store is packed with goodies

Definitely the place to go in New London for your every tool need. Only maybe once have my man and I had to go over to Auto Zone for an item they didnt have. Other than that, were there probably once a week. The staff is friendly as well as helpful. Easy to find, to the right of Staples.

Today I bought useful tools to complement my workshop and garage. The price is always right here. I came mainly to purchase a pair of car ramps. I had already priced them higher at other tool stores. So glad Harbor Freight moved close

I called to see if they had a black tool cart in stock. Christopher answered the phone and assured me that had plenty of the item I wanted in black. I asked him to double check because I live 2hrs away, and needed it immediately. Chris verified that they had several and there was no need to put my name on one if I would be there in 2hrs.....when I arrived Chris was gone and the store had none. They had several that were pre-ordered. The asst manager told me there was nothing she could do. I am furious. I am calling corporate. I want him terminated.

Cheap tools pretty good selection. You get what you pay for. I use this place because I always need some one off tool I will never use again and it doesnt hurt the wallet to get it here.

Their staff is courteous, top knowledged and will quickly help you find what your looking for in their always fully stocked stores. They are open 7 days a week, from early to late night. As an old advice saying goes, Try It!, Youll Like It!

Everything in this store is of minimal quality. The tools break relatively quickly. Any knives that you purchase you will have to sharpen on your own. This is a very terrible store to purchase any type of worthwhile tool. I always suggest going to somewhere where there is a warranty that is worthwhile or a tool that has some type of backing to it. if the equivalent of tool shopping was eating out, Harbor Freight is McDonalds.

Big fan of Harbor Feight Tools in general. This location in particular is a good size and the staff very helpful and informed. The values at Harbor Freight range from great to incredible. To anyone critical of their tools I suggest you put things in perspective. If you want the very highest quality tool thats going to last you a lifetime you might get it at Harbor Freight, but given the prices they offer, if you want a guarantee it would be better to pay 10x or more with Festool, Snap-On, and the like. Im not knocking these companies to the contrary I am suggesting that their products are superior and commend them for that. Most of the time Harbor Freight Tools do the job effectively. Personally, my strategy is to buy everything I need at Harbor Freight to start, and on the rare occasion something doesnt perform to my expectations, I replace that item at a different store upgrading to DeWalt, etc. Honestly it is a rare occasion. Overall it allows one to build a great tool collection.... At a price unrivaled, and the rare trade off of a subpar tool is remedied with the strategy above. In the end, for me at least, it is a highly effective way to build a great tool collection add an incredible price with a safeguard built-in to take care of the rare occasion an item from Harbor Freight doesnt work out. I am typically one that believes that you get what you pay for. Harbor Freight however gives a little more than you pay for in my opinion. Thanks Harbor Freight!

Love this store - great prices and selection for the homeowners tool collection. I dont use the power tools for my professional work, heavy duty use demands extreme tooling designed for the abuse and are far more expensive. However for the homeowner and casual handyman or mechanic, this is the place to buy. Lifetime warranty on most items is awesome, and they have honored it everytime Ive needed it. Joining the Inside Track Club - ITC- has saved me even more money, and is definitely worth the membership price.

Why am I in their system? They send me super coupons but I do not have a smartphone or a printer so I cant use the coupons! So, I cant afford a smartphone or a printer and I have to pay more for items. No wonder the poor cant get ahead. If I am in their system, the coupons should automatically apply to purchases. Harbor freight is the best they have affordable tools and thats Amazing! Tools are expensive, i know the tools at HF may not be the best out there but they get the job done and if you break one it wont cost a ton of money to replace.. If y I ure in the market for any type of tool I personally would check here first. And if you do break a tool alot of there tools have a warranty just like the better brands so its at least worth checking out...

Always seem to have that one of a kind, one time tool use at the right price. Being a member and getting discount coupon catalogues helps that much more and worth it.

They should sanitize the touch screen at the register after each transaction as well as provide wipes coming in and going out. Cant be too careful these days.

It is inside the New London Shopping Mall with easy access from the Frontage RD exit, Colmen ST Exit, or from Colmen Street itself. There is also a back entrance that comes to a I resection from 4 points in waterford. There is always someone to answer your question should you need help. I believe between the staff, constant sales, and the ease of access its one of the best stores.

Has to be my favorite store. Inexpensive hardware and tools and yes some poorly made items but use your best judgement on what you purchase, and you can always return it for a full refund. One note is if you are purchasing one of the compression gauges BEWARE.... They are selling some that do not have schraeder valves on the hose end and will not hold pressure. You will notice the gauge wont go higher than 30psi...
