Absolutely the best gun shop in our area, and I mean inclusive of Danbury and points south. John Roger knows more about the history of your firearm than you do: trust me on this! A great guy with a newly remodeled store. The gun or part youre looking for is here...just take the time to look around. Dont be in a hurry, and dont mind the locals like me hanging out. You might just learn something, and walk out smiling. I always do.

This is an excellent local gun shop! I made my first firearm purchase from John Rogers(the owner) and he provided outstanding customer service and extensive knowledge. He made the entire process comfortable and rewarding. His prices are extremely competitive with other local gun shops and offers a military/veteran discount, which i took advantage of. I highly recommend anyone in the market for a new firearm to stop by jolly Rogers and say hello to John. I will continue to support this local business.

One of the few great shops in the area. Its worth a visit if you have not been there before. He is open late Thursday and Friday and has Saturday hours. I got a more than fair price on some very hard to find magazines that he somehow had for sale. Amazing. Its kinda fun just to hang out

Where to begin,1970s my dads bring back Japan type 99 John got parts needed,my old Stevens crack shot missing parts,he made them ! Dunked my 870 in the quinnipiac river cleaned all the grit out of it,odd ammo got it.needed cannon fuse for sons model rocket yeah had that to.real old fashioned shop lucky to still have,recently expanded treat yourself to a visit.guess I like it a lot.

Great prices and a fine selection for the distinguished collector as well as the modern hunter. Absolutely worth a visit.

This place is like no other gun Store you will ever have been to. Its small and stuffed with everything gun related John is very knowledgeable and helpfull.

Owner is tough guy to deal with. Terrible experience. I traded brand new .357 with carrying case, 2 speed loaders, ammunition and holster (brand new condition) for what owner claimed was brand new 9mm. He said he could not find case but would look. After I got home I realized I needed a special breakdown tool to disassemble weapon for cleaning. Manufacturer said it came with gun. Obviously I need this tool to clean the weapon. I was surprised the Owner never told me about the tool as he told me he was a gun smith. Shortly after our trade, I went back to the Owner and explained the situation and that I expected him to provide me with the tool. Long story short, he said he would get it for me. He said he would call, never did. I honestly believed he would do the right thing and get me the tool that comes with the gun especially since he said it was brand new. I dealt with him honestly and expected him to do the same. I will never do business at Jolly Rogers Firearms again and tell all my gun buddies about how this guy treated me.
