My family has a tomb in Lakelawn Metairie Cemetery. It was purchased in 1889 by my great, great, great grandmother. In October of 2017 my mother passed and was placed in this tomb. It was a goal of my mother and her cousin, to have the tomb restored, but this did not occur during her lifetime. So after she was placed there, it was decided to get the job done.Hiring Michelle Duhon and her team at Bayou Preservation was a great decision as they are extremely professional. We received a detailed estimate of the job shortly after contacting them about the restoration. Their methods are pure and done with great care to keep the integrity of the original structure in tact. Michelle sent regular updates about the progress, including pictures, via email as I live in Maryland. She answered questions and gave advice when asked.
